Call it the curse of Katie Perry if you will, that pick 6 was just ridiculously bad, and don't get me started that No good bush whackin' barracuda of a kicker.

I want that OU Kicker's balls on a platter for what he did. 2 Half OU -5 should have easily come home!

Again, GS, who I have the most respect for here, he knows the SW Conf, BiG 12, now the little 12 as much as anyone, notwithstanding, go fuck yourself. Yeah, I played, '79 through '81 seasons idiot. Big deal. What good intel have you posted to the board??? DAMN, this place is stupid!

~T~

And btw, what Sport???

I have to say if we lose another poster as good as russ, who provides
valuable information, because somebody just has to start shit with them this place may as well shut it down.
Tmader I don't know what your main problem is but you have a serious case of has beenitis. Save the
revelry about your past accomplishments when you're drinking with your buddies. Some of the best
handicappers have never played a sport at all. Why can't you have a reasonable difference of opinion with out
the personal attacks?

Thanks man, this guy is a sickpup. He is a troll and an obvious loser. I would bet he was the guy who held the tackling dummy or was in fact the tackling dummy.

The purpose of this forum and my threads is to share information not to argue for the sake of arguing. Everyone on here knows and respects Coach. You seem to want to spend more time talking about the fact that you may or may not have played football. You are a joke. I am in a hall of fame for a sport so back at you. So what big deal. All that matters is sharing info and beating the man. Your or my life experiences are just that and no more. Anyone who calls coach a dumbass has shown his in the process. Everyone has opinions but you don't have to have played football in order to handicap it. If you believe that one then you are the dumbass. Grow up dude. Did you have any concussions LOL that would explain everything.

Thanks Russ. Not sure why his reading comprehension is so low. Probably the concussions from his badass days as a real football player!! But seriously, how can anyone say that A&M isn't middle of the road SEC? Regardless of their record in the West....they are among the MIDDLE of the SEC teams? Right? They are likely anywhere from 6th to 9th best...which is the MIDDLE of the SEC (among 14 teams). Sure, even if they are the 9th best team...that's closer to the bottom...but still in the middle. THIS is what that knucklehead wants to argue about. Also, my point about A&M was to point out that they are NOT AS GOOD as people are suggesting! Which backs up HIS point. But he wants to argue with me. Honestly, A&M is better than: UF, Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Missouri....so even if they lost all of their West games they are STILL in the MIDDLE of the SEC!!

RunLeeRun, please don't mention that clown's name again!!!

Coach, my apologies, no bone to pick with you. In all fairness, A&Sham is not as good as Kentucky or Mizzou, just an SEC's player's perspective. Vandy, yeah, Franklin left town after he had absolutely no recruits this year, next year, yada, yada, etc. I would have left town too. I'm not gonna say another word about Florida, they have enough problems brewing, and S. Carolina, I'm now 60 or so miles from that catastrophe, will be interesting to see how that plays out. Again, please accept my apology.

Russ, You know those condos just north of the Cassady School on Penn? I owned several of them in '87+. Bought a nice place off Wilshire in the "Hills." I owned part of Flips, Split-T, and VZD's.....NOW, what's in your wallet asshole?

No worries, thanks for the apology...and I apologize if I came across as an ass (which is common!). I disagree that Kentucky is better (close, but not better) and Mizzou. Mizzou's O is horrible (119 yards vs. UF). And I agree with you....A&M is not that good (the USC game turned heads and now that the season is playing out, that win wasn't so impressive after all). But I still think they are around 7th or 8th best SEC (maybe tied for those spots), which puts them in the middle of the LEAGUE (not the West....you are 100% correct, they are NOT in the middle of the West!)....

LOL, how does one get to be in the middle of the SEC West? I was out of line, but I know how players react to shit, I played three years, been there, done that, etc. Kentucky has a sneaky team, I suggest all watch out for them. Mizzou, come on, I'm a huge Marky, Mauk fan, loved his bro in college, can not help but give him some love, LOL. I'm not playing the SEC right now, too much comp, not like when I played, we were the cellar, no if's, and's, or but's.

Junk47 all over again
If you miss him you can go visit him over at my buddy SoonerBS forum. Something tells me you don't miss him. By the way he's now calling himself Big Daddy. Big surprise. And still talking the same shit. I think somewhere a douche is missing it's nozzle...

Know this is gonna sound stupid, these stories always do. Was invited to a card game, I'm not at liberty to tell where in the City it was, but I show up and Switzer has a pair of panty hose on his head. I'm like, man, I gotta go, this can't be good, but naw, they calmed me down and said game on. This story is true and I approved the message, lol.

Russ, I agree about Huepel. He's awful and needs to go. But recruiting is a big deal. It's what has seperated OU and Texas from the rest of the pack in the past. But when Texas is recruiting 15th in the country (last year) and OU isn't in the top 10 either, they can no longer be considered elite teams, no matter how good the coaching is. This needs to be fixed if they want to start winning Big 12 titles again. Dropping out of the top 10 in recruiting in the last 5 years and not winning the Big 12 title in 4 years are directly related to each other. There's no getting around it...

Spot on

Ask my bookie lol.

By the way just for the record. Speaking of Casady. One of my best memories was when I was a sophomore in HS. We were playing Casady in baseball and I threw out Lance Rentzel stealing second base. I was kind of nervous about it because he was one of the best athletes I ever played against in any sport. He was a senior and after the game he came over and shook my hand. It was one of the classiest things I ever encountered. As far as the Split T goes I remember how one of the owners made a big boo boo and got in some trouble. I drive by VZD's every day.

It's all good, sorry about the "asshole" comment. Notice I stated "owned," as in past tense. Yeah, he had a serious "blow" problem, what do ya expect from a POKE, lol. Got out of that one alive. VZD's was my best investment, Flip couldn't stay away from the smack. GL in all your plays the remainder of the season.

~T~

btw, as far as I know, I'm the only guy to have jumped off the balcony onto a table standing, lol.

I keep my copy of phil steele’s college football preview around for a ready reference. I just looked at his list of teams that he had as those who would be most improved. Kind of interesting.

1. TCU (5-1 SU – 6-0 ATS), 2. Florida (3-3 SU – 2-4 ATS), 3. NW (3-4 SU – 2-5 ATS), 4. Air Force (5-2 SU – 3-4 ATS), 5. Nevada (4-3 SU – 4-3 ATS), 6. La Tech (4-3 SU – 5-2 ATS), 7. Memphis (3-3 SU – 4-1-1 ATS), 8. Tenn (3-4 SU – 3-4 ATS), 9. NC ST (4-4 SU – 4-4 ATS), 10. Army (2-5 SU – 2-5 ATS), 11. Akron (4-3 SU – 2-5 ATS), 12. Indiana (3-4 SU – 2-5 ATS).

So only 3 of those teams have winning records ATS (that is what counts right). Florida has been a big disappointment so Steele was not alone there. He was dead on about TCU.

Still like his magazine and his online site. Don’t necessarily follow his picks but he provides a volume of reliable information some of which you can’t find anywhere else. Hard to be right all the time right.

There were two tables pulled together. I told my date and everyone else that I could jump off and land on the two, not fall down. And then some idiot just had to bet me.....not the smart play. Hit both tables, leg on each, had to buy a round obviously, and then was asked to leave....yeah, but I own this place, lol. Ah, to be young again. I'm gonna miss that town, when I moved there in '86, it was freakin dead, now look at it.
