MLB | Cardinals vs Reds
Play on: Cardinals -133 at betonline

Cardinals are worth a look here tonight to avoid getting swept by the Reds. Lynn is having a very good season with a 2.97 ERA. His last three games have all came on the road and they weren't against easy teams being the Cubs, Rockies and Dodgers and had an impressive 3.44 ERA during that stretch.

The Reds counter with Arroyo who is nothing special by any means. He owns a 6.24 ERA on the season and has been giving up the long ball left and right all year. Arroyo has struggled against the Cardinals in his career with a 8-18 record.

Your comp play for Wednesday is to lay the road wood with Golden State, as they inch closer to reclaiming the crown that they let slip away last season against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

There really isn't that much to think about here, as basketball is all about matchups, and with Kyrie Irving dealing with an injured knee, and bench player Iman Schumpert simply out of shape to play extended minutes, not to mention Deron Williams and Kyle Korver lending absolutely no support, the matchups don't look too promising for Cleveland here on Wednesday night - even at home!

Golden State is now a perfect 14-for-14 in games played this postseason, and 12 of the 14 wins have come by double-digits. They have had the answer to anything Cleveland has thrown at them through the first 2 games, and I suspect strongly they will have the answer to anything the Cavaliers try and do tonight too.

Go ahead and lay the points on the road with Golden State here in Game 3.

5* GOLDEN STATE

ST JUDE’S CLASSIC

RUSSEL HENLEY +2500

I haven’t had a PGA winner in a handful of weeks, ever since getting home with Kevin Chappell at roughly +2600 in his first tour win after several near misses. I’m thinking I might have a chance to get home this week with Russel Henley.

It’s important to note that if there were no odds involved, I’d probably back Ricky Fowler or Brooks Koepka. But win wagering on the PGA is all about getting the right price, and neither of those two players offers enough of a return for me to get involved.

But Henley is at a good enough price to warrant some consideration for me. He’s a solid performer on Bermuda grass greens, Henley already has one win in his pocket this year, and he was a contender in last year’s St. Jude’s.

Henley is actually the shorter priced player among the two I took shots with this week. If he gets out of the gate reasonably well on Thursday

Warriors / Cavs 1st Half Under 115.5

I know you probably think I'm crazy taking any part of this game UNDER the total, but I see this game starting off slow in Cleveland. It's no secret that the Cavs can play a fast pace game with the Golden St Warriors, and I see them making this game a half court game from the tip. LeBron ran out of gas in the second half of Game #2, and I see the Cavs defense getting some early stops and slowing the tempo down. Wouldn't shock me to see more points scored in the second half then the first, and with a high first half total I see the half time score being in the low 100s. In the last 5 meetings between these two teams, 4 of them have gone UNDER, and again look for the Cavs to slow down the pace when they get stops.

Golden State vs. Cleveland, 06/07/2017 21:00 EDT
Cleveland+4-115

This is my free video premium winner the Cavs come into this game down 2 games to none and having been absolutely blown out and last year the Cavs destroyed the Warriors 120-90 in game 3 I think you will see an outrite win for the Cavs here but invest a 9* investment in the Cavs with the points.

Preview: Nationals at Dodgers

GAME: Washington Nationals (37-20) at Los Angeles Dodgers (35-25)
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, June 07 - 3:10 PM EST
WHERE: Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, California
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

Washington Nationals starter Max Scherzer raised the bar with his brilliant 14-strikeout performance on Tuesday, but Stephen Strasburg and Clayton Kershaw certainly are capable of similar feats. The two aces meet for the first time in their illustrious careers on Wednesday as the Los Angeles Dodgers continue their three-game series against the visiting Nationals, who are 7-1 on their nine-game road trip.

Scherzer had 11 strikeouts in the first 3 2/3 innings of Tuesday’s 2-1 victory and exited after allowing one unearned run and three hits over seven frames. Both benches cleared briefly at the end of the contest after Washington closer Koda Glover struck out Yasiel Puig, but calmer heads prevailed and the teams left without incident. Puig is batting .239 with nine homers and 31 RBIs for the Dodgers, who have lost three in a row and five of their last seven while scoring a total of 16 runs over that stretch. This weekend’s anticipated return of third baseman Justin Turner (hamstring) should provide a much-needed spark to the offense, but the team also needs more production from Logan Forsythe, who went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts on Tuesday and is hitless in his last 21 at-bats.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Nationals RH Stephen Strasburg (7-1, 2.91 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Clayton Kershaw (7-2, 2.28)

Strasburg has recorded a victory in five of his last six starts, posting a 2.75 ERA and 50-to-14 strikeout-to-walk ratio over that stretch. The San Diego native allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over seven innings in Friday’s 13-3 win over Oakland. Adrian Gonzalez is 6-for-12 against Strasburg, who owns a 1-1 record and 3.06 ERA in five career starts versus Los Angeles - including seven innings of one-run ball in his last visit to Dodger Stadium on April 28, 2012.

Kershaw bounced back from a rough outing against the Chicago Cubs by holding Milwaukee to one run and two hits while recording 14 strikeouts in seven innings on Friday. The three-time Cy Young Award winner, who eclipsed the 2,000-strikeout mark in his last start, has gone 10-2 with a 2.02 ERA in 14 career games (13 starts) against Washington. Bryce Harper is 1-for-15 with 10 strikeouts versus Kershaw, who has struck out 104 batters and walked 17 in his career against the Nationals.

WALK-OFFS

1. Dodgers RHP Kenley Jansen has struck out 40 of the 85 batters he’s faced without issuing a walk.

2. Washington MGR Dusty Baker said RHP Joe Ross will start Thursday’s makeup game against Baltimore.

3. Los Angeles 2B Chase Utley is batting .329 with three homers and 14 RBIs in his last 26 contests.

PREDICTION: Dodgers 3, Nationals 2

Preview: Indians at Rockies

GAME: Cleveland Indians (29-27) at Colorado Rockies (37-23)
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, June 07 - 3:10 PM EST
WHERE: Coors Field, Denver, Colorado
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

These are heady times for the Colorado Rockies, who are 14 games over .500 with the most wins through 60 games in franchise history. The Rockies look to extend their winning streak to four contests on Wednesday as they conclude their brief two-game series against the visiting Cleveland Indians, who have dropped six of their first seven interleague games.

Mark Reynolds homered twice and matched a career high with five RBIs in Tuesday’s 11-3 win as Colorado moved 1 1/2 games ahead of the second-place Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West. "The guys had an expectation when we started in spring training about where we could be and what we could do,” Rockies manager Bud Black told reporters. “Right now, we’re realizing it. It’s happening on the field. It’s a good feeling. The guys are digging it. We’re loose. We’re playing hard. We’ve got to continue it. It’s a long season.” The Indians fell to 2-8 all-time at Coors Field with Tuesday's loss but received a spark from Lonnie Chisenhall, who went 2-for-3 with a solo homer in his first game off the disabled list. Rookie Bradley Zimmer also continued to impress with his fourth home run, a two-run opposite-field shot.

TV: 3:10 p.m. ET, SportsTime Ohio (Cleveland), ROOT (Colorado)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Indians RH Trevor Bauer (5-4, 5.83 ERA) vs. Rockies LH Kyle Freeland (6-3, 3.53)

Bauer is starting on two days’ rest after working just 1 2/3 innings on Saturday at Kansas City before a rain delay cut his outing short. The 26-year-old recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts and allowed three runs over seven frames in last Tuesday’s 9-4 win over Oakland. The Southern California native is making his first career start at Coors Field and has struggled in six road outings this season, going 2-3 with a 6.14 ERA.

Freeland hit three batters but recorded his team-leading eighth quality start Thursday at Seattle, where he allowed two runs and six hits with three strikeouts over six frames of a 6-3 victory. The Denver native has pitched well in his hometown, going 2-3 with a 3.94 ERA in five turns. A 24-year-old rookie who was drafted eighth overall by Colorado in 2014, Freeland owns a 19-to-14 strikeout-to-walk ratio over his last five outings.

WALK-OFFS

1. Colorado LF Gerardo Parra exited Tuesday’s game with a right quadriceps strain and is expected to miss at least one month.

2. Chisenhall is 6-for-13 with two home runs and seven RBIs in four career games against the Rockies.

3. The Indians placed RHP Danny Salazar (shoulder) on the 10-day disabled list.

PREDICTION: Indians 7, Rockies 5
