The Nats return home after losing three straight on the road, and they will try to get back on track in the third game of this home and home series versus Baltimore. The Orioles have an MLB best 22 wins this season, but largely in part to their home record of 13-3. Washington sits first in the NL East, with a record of 21-12.

Stephen Strasburg will toe the slab for Washington, and he's dealing so far in 2017. Strasburg (3-1, 2.66 ERA) struck out five through 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a 4-2 win at Philly his last time out. He's only faced the Orioles once since 2014, going seven innings in a no decision, giving up just a pair of runs on four hits while striking out nine.

The Orioles hand the ball to Wade Miley, who has been hit hard in past meetings with Washington. He's given up nine runs on 20 hits and 10 walks over just 14 innings against the Nationals in three appearances since 2014.

Washington's lineup is batting .375 over a combined 96 at bats versus Miley.

Cleveland evened up their 3-game series with the Blue Jays in a 6-0 win on Tuesday. Behind a dominant effort from starter Carlos Carrasco, Toronto managed just 4 hits (only 4 guys to reach base) and they were all singles. I look for Danny Salazar to take advantage of a not so confident Blue Jay offense and help Cleveland take the rubber match tonight. Salazar hasn't hit his stride in 2017, but does own a 2.65 ERA over 3 career starts against the Blue Jays.

Toronto counters with Francisco Liriano, who is just 2-2 with a 4.44 ERA and 1.747 WHIP in 6 starts. He comes in off a miserable outing at Tampa, where he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits (2 HRs) and 5 walks in just 3 2/3 innings of work.

Blue Jays just 3-7 last 10 home games against a team with a winning record, while the Indians are 10-3 in their last 13 road games against a team that's won less than 40% of htier home games, 8-1 in Salazar's last 9 starts following a team loss in his last start and the Indians are a perfect 4-0 in their last 4 during game 3 of a series. The Chicago White Sox are highly motivated for a victory tonight following a season-high four-game losing streak coming in. But they finally have the edge on the mound tonight over the Minnesota Twins and should end this skid tonight.

Derek Holland has been a tremendous addition to the rotation this season. The left-hander has gone 3-2 with a 3.03 ERA in six starts, 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA in two home starts, and 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA in his last three starts.

Phil Hughes has a 4-1 record this season and the Twins ar e5-1 in his starts, but that's only due to good run support. Hughes hasn't been anything special, posing a 4.32 ERA and 1.380 WHIP in six starts this year.

Holland is 31-11 (+16.9 Units) against the money line in home games after a loss in his career. Holland is 6-0 (+7.3 Units) against the money line in home games when playing against a team with a winning record over the last two seasons. The Twins are 8-17 in their last 25 games following a win. Bet the White Sox Wednesday.
