I don't have a problem with a book thinking there is something wrong, and telling a cusotmer that they need time to review the account. However, the cusotmer should be told why the account has been red flagged. Furthermore, the customer should be garaunteed a specific time, that if no fraud has been found, the funds will be sent. Also a book should never lock an account. If a player is being accused by a book for fraud, the player should be allowed to log into his account to take screen shots if he wants to. Lastly, in this case, it doesn't sound like that many wager were placed. It should not take that long to "investigate." And if the GM isn't around, than the assiatnt Gm, should be empowered to handle the situation.
Being told taht your account is being investigated for fraud, is one of the most common tactics used by stiff books. And these "investigations" can go on for weeks. I'm glad Rio and Randy worked things out. I have no idea whther Randy is a legit player or a scammer, but I do know that Rio did NOT handle this properly. And they need to find a better way to resolve these types of issues.
