However, cops are indeed more careful with certain ppl because it's usually those ppl who escalate things

Yeah in my opinion the one wailing away at him should be the one charged

The others holding him could argue they were just trying to secure him or hold him up and the other one continued to attack

There's also one who looks like he keeps trying to walk away

It's not like those cop movies/tv shows...

Police jobs don't attract the best and the brightest.

We have 1 friend from our college group that became a police officer(has been suspended 3 times). The biggest loud mouth, idiot, drunk and drug abuser i had ever seen to that point in my life---of course dropped out of college around year 1.5(well kicked out because his grades were so bad they told him he needed to miss 2 semesters and then ask for reinstatement) and then went to the academy.

We still laugh how he is a cop and how they keep re-instating him after each suspension. Two of them over violent interactions with suspects.

I know this isn't an example of all cops(obviously). But just the small sample from my little world.
