1 vs 5, even without watching the video it's already police brutality.

The cops literally beat him to death

Questions: What crimes were committed that led to the chase? Were there warrants against the alleged victim. What was the victims criminal history? What did toxicology come back with? Did the victim resist arrest?

I think we'll know those answers when the video is released

None of that matters

It’s called criminal rights. You have the right to do anything in your power to disobey the law. Accountability for any of your actions is the fault of anybody but yourself.

The bigger issue they can accuse police or homeless issues or whatever as the problem . The more money they can budget to pad pockets to fix the problem that’s not the problem. It’s always fix the police to fix the community. The problem is the community. Fix the community you will see the police was never the issue.

Pull the police out of any wealthy areas and move the issues into those back yards and watch how quick the social feelings and virtue signaling folks suddenly cry. Consequences for actions have been removed from about anything these days. Respect for authority has been removed. Look at teachers and what goes on in schools. That’s the problem.

Maybe the police are at fault here but it all goes back to the same thing, don't run from the police and this never would have happened.

The city of Memphis announced it would release video of the police encounter Friday after 4 p.m. Pacific time. Police departments including the LAPD were on notice as they prepared for demonstrations.

I'm just glad that cops have already been charged. I hope they live long to suffer inside the jail.

Sure wait until Friday night after all of the nice Jewish boys have had their Manishewitz to release the video. That is a brilliant idea.

I say pull the cops off the street. Every man for himself. Let the stupid weed itself out. Big business wants to protect property either go do it or get a new ideology on crime and prevention instead of less law less enforcement. Bring back the Koreans Rooftop Campers. Announce if you set fire or break or steal from property the consequences are being shot by business owners. No questions will be asked or charges filed. Good luck and good night

If these cops beat the snot out of guy like they say then courts handle it. The fact this now a entire issue for the country is wild. It’s like they make these situations Halloween or beginning of the purge. Like handing out free go cause Trouble cards. Just start allowing it to happen more planning it in a way. Let more n more riots happen n looting and destruction with less consequences each time. Just matter of time it only gets worse each new time

Two things to note here...

*This case proves that race shouldn't be brought in to these types of things anymore. It's almost always about some asshole thinking they can do whatever whatever they want and get away with it, until cops finally have to use force

*Just about every one of us has had a bad experience with a cop before
But do you know what the difference is?
We all bite our tongue & obey orders.
So even if it does happen to be a jerk of a cop one runs into, keep your big mouth shut, do what they say, and don't resist, attack or escalate things,
If you do, you get what you were asking for.
I’ve never had a bad experience. Maybe some a little arrogant. But just let me feel their power and you’ll be fine. Most were super cool actually.

What deserves a beating like that by 5 cops really? Seems a “bit” extreme.

That guy looks like he raped one of the cops kids. Even a one in one that’s a beating. Lol. Damn.

I don't believe any crimes were committed.

The investigation couldn't even find substantial cause for the supposed reckless driving. There were no warrants.

The investigation pointed to the police as being the aggressor right from the beginning. They apparently pepper sprayed him and then the victim took off running.

Looks like a gang attack by 5 men that happen to be police officers. 5 of the dumbest people on earth who even know they are being recorded and just go about it anyways...

Alll 5 have already been charged with 2nd degree murder and kidnapping along with other charges---The cop that killed George Floyd wasn't even charged this quickly.

Interesting

You Thinking some shady cops handling business with a shady guy? As in maybe a little cash payments to those officers for say information or look the other way. And the guy ghosted em. Little beat down message

Or maybe some cops getting street justice for the hood or fellow homies this guy did dirty or something?

Seems these cops must know this guy.

Just going by what has been reported.

I haven't a clue about the victim. Nothing has been said by either side--cops or family that they all knew each other before the encounter.

Crudebar, your post at this point is conjecture. We don't know what caused this. If the cops are guilty, punish them.
