The last year records are available - police killed 125 blacks and over 300 whites - for the entire year - that's like 2 per state per year for blacks - u think that is a lot for what police encounter everyday? you have any clue how many blacks killed blacks last night in this country? it's not, "look at what theyre doing to us" but it is "look at what we are doing to ourselves"

See, this is the issue. Guys like Hache and Nick think the killing of young black men at the hands of a cop is an epidemic. Like the trend is spiraling out of control or something.

When confronted with the no kidding real numbers and facts that show there is no upward trend to support their assertion, they become speechless.

Instead he resisted arrest and and the 30 time loser and ex con caused the stress that lead to his own death.

Well, I'm always on the side of the cops but the Garner case stinks to high heaven.

There's just no way the cops couldn't have handled that situation better. The guy didn't act aggressive and wasn't threatening the cops. All they had to do is say "hey, you're going with us, let's be calm." No way that situation should've gotten to where it did.

Resisting arrest is not your constitutional right.

Resisting arrest is not your civil right.

Resisting arrest is not your birth right.

If a person is falsely arrested or illegally detained they can sue. If a persons constitutional or civil rights are violated during an arrest they can sue. ... BUT , they don't have any right to resist arrest.

I've worked aside over 100 through 13-14 years and I know for a fact many (NOT ALL) can be crooked.

At one time when I was younger, I wanted to become a police officer just to bring 'balance to the force' (Star Wars reference goes hand in hand ha).
I wanted to call out any bad cops and always turn them in.

Some of you guys think police officers are immortal perfections.

They are human and just like the rest of us, they get moody, cocky, arrogant, and so on.

Maybe before anyone can pass the academy in law enforcement, they should have to attend sessions with anger management & control issue experts to determine if they are fit for the job.

The only way to have perfect officers is true to life Robocops...

Michael Brown was a threat to another man's life due to his sheer size. Makes no difference if he was armed. I don't understand how some of you can't figure that out.

But it has more to do with some long standing Missouri statute that gives cops wider latitude to shoot to kill and makes it tougher to get any kind of indictment on them if there is any gray area there. I really don't have a problem with the Ferguson incident since it wasn't caught on video tape. The NYC incident I have a problem with.

14 young black men killed by cops? I don't believe it. When you have 120 in the entire country per year, the numbers don't add up.
