Your House Majority just voted to REPEAL the disastrous train wreck known as ObamaCare.

Your representatives listened to your opinions and concerns and united members of our Party around a conservative bill that shreds ObamaCare to pieces.

And most importantly, Congress will NO LONGER be exempt from our health care laws. Your representatives will be forced to follow the same laws as We The People.

But now comes the real fight. The fake news media is ready to peddle a bunch of lies about our bill and will completely ignore the tragedies caused by ObamaCare.

We need to be prepared to fight back against the media’s lies and attacks.

Thanks,

I'm not knowable of the nitty-gritty of the bill. If it helps you
I'm sure it will help many others in your situation.

So that's a positive however I haven't read anything about creating
competition in the market. What happened to buying across state lines
and setting up buyer pools to lower costs?

Maybe I'm just ignorant but without sweeping changes those premiums aren't
likely to become affordable.

I just find it ludicrous that after 7 years of repeal and replace babble
there was no plan to actually do it. They appear to be making it up as they
go along.

Yes it appears they are. That was all they said was we need to repeal it but what is their alternative?
Hoping for the best.

All smiles: Donald Trump turned his first trip home as president into a victory lap on Thursday, returning to the city that has largely opposed him while celebrating House passage of legislation undoing much his predecessor's health law

My wife works in medical field. She knows the ins and outs when it come with all the insurances questions. She was definitely not a fan of Obamacare but she says some people will get screwed big time with This new plan. I'm just not smart enough to understand what she's explaining.

It was a doomed from the beginning and most everyone involved knew it. It's collapsing under it's own weight and if not changed, the government will be running health care for all Americans.....which was the goal from the very beginning.

What the pro Obamacare people won't tell you is that there has been a very high cost to many Americans whose premiums and deductibles were so high that they passed on procedures (colonoscopies, dermatology (skin cancer), and other preventive procedures that would have normally had a much smaller co-payment. Unfortunately there is a cost (in lives) for skipping these procedures.

So yeah, people may lose coverage but the other side is the fact that insurance should become more affordable for most Americans....something that The Congressional Budget Office can't put a price on.

I agree, but I think health coverage should be affordable for ALL Americans.

Man, I don't know many people who don't feel the same way. In a perfect world it would work that way but in a democratic, capitalist society there will always be disparity.

You start pooling assets and distributing them equally, you are destined for failure at some point

new NBC/WSJ poll: Americans approving of House Republican health care bill 23%; of Trump firing Comey 29%; of Trump job performance 39%

Forty-six percent of Americans, including 74 percent of Democrats, say they agree with the statement that Trump fired Comey to slow down the FBI investigation of Russia's involvement in the 2016 election.

That's compared with 38 percent of respondents, including nearly two-thirds of Republicans, who agree that firing was due to how Comey handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails.

The ship, measuring 393 feet long and housing 24-foot antennas, will be used in support of missions from the US Missile Defense Agency missions, reported the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
Spokesman Chris Johnson said the agency doesn't usually discuss missile defense tests until after they've been conducted, but did confirm that the next flight intercept test is planned for late May.
This test will be the first time a ground-based missile interceptor launched from California attempts to smash into a intercontinental ballistic missile in its mid-course over the Pacific, the Missile Defense Agency said.

The funny part is, I get why dems were pissed at Comey. Hell yea, he had an influence on the election. How much, who knows? Wouldn't have changed anyone's vote that I know. The Russian bullshit? What exactly is the Russian bullshit? Anyone know?
