Hey, I hope that what Trump is doing here changes American politics. I hope the future brings candidates who don't essentially recite well prepared cookie cutter answers. I'd rather see honest candidates who call it like they see it and aren't afraid to take some chances. That said, I don't think he's being honest. I think he's an opportunist.
No, I think he's working for himself. I think he wants to be President and I think he'd like to milk this process for all the attention he can get. He's got a rather large ego to feed. Trump isn't stupid. He saw an opportunity to be the "outsider" candidate, say some crazy shit and get a good chunk of the vote while the other 18 candidates who say essentially the same thing split the rest of the vote.
I have to admit, I have no idea where you got the idea that I think he's working for the Clintons. I think he was friendly with and fond of the Clintons and his current positions on Hillary are bs to entice people like roadreeler to hop on the Trump train.
I see it differently. I don't care what his motives are, he's filling a void in the market. Donald Trump is what happens when your party leaders refuse to listen to your base. Donald Trump is what the GOPe gets for forcing McCain, Romney and now Jeb Bush on down our throats - totally and completely unacceptable and surest path to losing yet another election.
Whether he's the nominee or not, Trump is leading the way and the other wimps are sure to follow.
