Coop: Good to hear from you.
Seven games to go in the NCAA tourney. Many who have competed in the regional finals feel there is more internal and external pressure in this round, then in the actual final four and championship games. If one style eliminates those thoughts of pressure, it is the pressing, breaking whirling dervish style. No time for thinking or reading just reacting to one's instincts. In what many are calling contrasting styles, Missouri and U Conn go head to head in 30 minutes. The biggest factor in my eyes is the Tigers 40 minutes of hell style will neutralize Thabeet's inside presence. Small, quick teams take big men out of their comfort zone. Thabeet dominates the paint defensively and on the glass. I expect his overall control of this game to be much less. On the other hand U Conn has athletic skilled perimeter players. They will not wait fo the Big guy to arrive as scoring opportunities abound. If you notice, even in a moderate tempo, Thabeet is the last of ten players, to make transition most of the time. This pace will not be moderate. Fast, Faster, and Fastest for MO. Tigers have beaten Kansas and Oklahoma along the way. (Sooners just ripped the Cuse a new one last night) They are for real, IMO. U Conn against the most similar style in the Big East (Providense) tallied 94 points. THUS:
1st half:
over 70.5 ONE UNIT
Game over:
150.5 ONE UNIT
Late with post as I thought these numbers would move in my favor,...to no avail-
