Today's top NBA teams are sooo much better than the ones from 80's and 90's

Different rules. No team today could come close to Jordan's Bulls in the 80s/90s.

True. The 3 point shot came into being in the '79-80 season. Time flies.

I guess when all is said and done I loved the pre 3 point NBA. Toughness WAS a big part of the game. Big men had much more meaning to the game, even if they weren't as athletic as today's big men. Shot blockers worked their magic in the paint. Toughness down low was essential to successful teams.

Now everybody is spread out firing away. This is not a fun game for me anymore.
They should do away with the 3 point line or move it back further where corner 3s wouldn't exist.

I believe the Nets/Bucks series is a good indicator how it would go down between todays team (Nets) and the old timers (Bucks)

Since the Bucks are not making threes , the Nets can let them take them all they want. And the Nets can focus on the paint area.
While the Bucks have to defend sideline from sideline

The Bucks wont be able to keep up.

Imo Nets in 5
