No....but creepy that you would say that. I know you're over the rainbow but please leave me out of that.

Uh huh, everyone knows why you didn't have the balls (literally) to meet Gas Man on his boat, even though he offered to fly you down all expenses paid.

Why didn't you take me up on my offer?

You talked about my balls twice tonight. Give it up Joe....it's never gonna happen....I'm not that way....but you'll have some interested people here when you finally come out.....Lenbo seems like he'd be into you.

Joe, your perception is about as good as it gets.

Donald Trump's wealth of success, experience and frame of reference come from the real world private sector; Paul Ryan is a sheltered career politician who has spent his entire life crafting government "solutions" to every problem.

That’s what the elitists don’t get. Government isn’t the solution, it’s the problem. You need to look no further than the EU to see what happens when a bunch of compassionate tree huggers get together and decide they know what’s good for you.

Then you have the UN and NATO. They were established 70 years ago to prevent another WW and while technically we haven’t officially had a WW, we’re about as close to one as you’re going to get. All they do is bleed the worlds finances and offer very little in return.

I’m jealous of Australia. They seem to get along just fine yet they don’t allow immigrants in and they don’t belong to any world coalitions. They’ve never had a successful terror attack of any significant consequence. I think we should take a look at their model.

The problem with this is that much of what Trump is pushing has nothing to do with smaller and more efficient government or individual liberty or personal responsibility. Infact, a lot of what he is saying is antithetical to that.

I see your point in that these other little cucks ain't getting the job done so it is time for disruption, but I just happen to agree with someone like Paul Ryan or Marco Rubio more than I do with Trump. And not by a small amount either. Maybe they're just philosophers waxing poetic similar to a lot of think tanks in a way, but their impact is minimal. I'd still rather gamble on their solutions which align with what I want to see rather than someone I just don't happen to agree with all that much.

Sometimes you gotta buy a new house, but sometimes change for the sake of change isn't good either.

Easy. The GOP controls the purse strings. They can defund and shut down any agency until their demands are met and this outlaw president is prepared to compromise AND be accountable to We The People.

They can do many things; they just choose not to.

The issue is that while that strategy may appeal to you, it does not appeal to the vast majority of Americans. Probably not the best strategy heading into the 2016 election. On the other hand, that strategy probably leads to a non-Trump candidate. In the end, we'll simply have to agree to disagree on Paul Ryan.

This is some funny shit, if it's true. I can't help but look back fondly on all of the conversations I had with Dave where he repeatedly told me what a softy Kasich and all of his supporters were. Looks like Trump was a big Kasich fan all along.

One day this past May, Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reached out to a senior adviser to Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, who left the presidential race just a few weeks before. As a candidate, Kasich declared in March that Trump was “really not prepared to be president of the United States,” and the following month he took the highly unusual step of coordinating with his rival Senator Ted Cruz in an effort to deny Trump the nomination. But according to the Kasich adviser (who spoke only under the condition that he not be named), Donald Jr. wanted to make him an offer nonetheless: Did he have any interest in being the most powerful vice president in history?

When Kasich’s adviser asked how this would be the case, Donald Jr. explained that his father’s vice president would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.
Then what, the adviser asked, would Trump be in charge of?
“Making America great again” was the casual reply.

Who knows if that is true but Kasich being Trump's #1 choice for VP was always expected. Pretty much the only relevant candidate that he didn't have major issues with during the primary, high favorability ratings and a Governor with a 60% approval rating in a swing state.

I don't think Trump said it like that though, that's way too deferential. He probably just said you will do most of the work or something to that effect.

Obviously Trump believes in his vision and policy over Kasich's.

Come on, let me enjoy this. While unlikely, I prefer to believe the conversation went exactly as stated above.

Is this a thing that makes you say huh? I thought we were getting the wall?

"I’m for Donald Trump, and he says we’re going to build a wall, the Mexicans are gonna pay for it," Perry told Snapchat's Peter Hamby on "Good Luck America."
Hamby remarked, "It’s not going to happen."
"Well, it’s not," Perry said, explaining, "It’s a wall, but it’s a technological wall, it’s a digital wall."
Perry, who is supporting Trump, commented, "There are some that hear this is going to be 1,200 miles from Brownsville to El Paso, 30-foot high, and listen, I know you can’t do that. "

Atleast the digital wall shouldn't cost the Mexicans as much as concrete that is 1,200 feet wide and 50 feet high.

Joe what you think Cruz does tonight?

Reagan in '76esque speech? Does he endorse Trump? That would be sortof humiliating to endorse him when Kasich isn't even kissing the ring.

Probably just some faith stuff and anti-Hillary stuff and calls it a day. Would be great if he went off the rails though.

Tough spot for Cruz. You don't really want to do anything that will really help Trump and ruin your shot in 2020, but you always want these Trump fanatics for 2020. Probably just play it safe like you said.

Cruz can be a loose cannon which is why most of the party faithful hate him even more than Trump.

But really, what could he possibly say that would help or ruin Trump at this stage of the campaign? Nothing.

You just told it like it is. Rinos… give us the majority in the House and we’ll change things. It was bullshit. Then it was give us the majority in the Senate and we’ll change things. That was bullshit too.

What was the common denominator? People like Boehner, Ryan, Rubio and McConnell. They’re resumes for getting the job done are terrible. Trump has no resume as a politician so I’ll gamble that he’s not blowing smoke up my ass like Boehner, Ryan, Rubio and McConnell have done for the past 4 years.

Actually it’s not a gamble at all. He can’t possibly be worse then Obama.

Exactly. It’s a professional courtesy to let Cruz speak and Cruz will be a professional. The he will go back to the Senate and do what he does best, piss off Rinos.

They have no shame, integrity, honesty, ethics, morals, virtue, decency, fairness, or trustworthiness.

No sooner had Pat Smith delivered a tearful, heart-wrenching speech at the Republican National Convention accusing Hillary Clinton of responsibility for her son Sean’s death in Benghazi, and lying to her, than Politifact “fact-checked” her claims.

“Smith has said Clinton lied to her about Benghazi, but it’s not completely clear just what Clinton said,” Politifact tweeted.

Not completely clear? How fucking convenient of a narrative is that. Loser!@#0
