South Africa/Mexico Over 2.5 +150 1 UNIT

I have thought long and hard about this game, I am really believing that the opening game will be everything we hope it to be. Mexico and South Africa both played well during there friendlies, scoring goals often. Mexico will look to attack from the kick off with players like Vela and Dos Santos, Javier Hernandez will look to supply them. I am thinking Mexico score first, and it will be up to South Africa to equalize, and honestyle people i see that happening by halftime. I think the final score could go either way, but i am really feeling the over 2, and ill just take the chance and take it at 2.5

Uruguay +.5 -140 1 Unit

I dont like France at all, I think Domenech has no idea what he is doing, he didnt call up Karim Benzema and the projected line up i have seen has Henry on the bench. I think they will have real problems up front. They could easily play for a draw, after they realize, Uruguay will create alot of chances and maintain important poscession. Deigo Forlan is a big game player, and will give Lloris alot to deal with. I think with the half goal spread, you are covered with 2 options, a draw or a win for Uruguay. And after watching France struggle with costa rica, tanzania and china in the pre season friendlies, i am hoping for an early "upset". -140 is alot to lay, especially when it openend at -110, i still have to ride with the hotter team.

South Korea PK +110 (100 to win 110)
After some more capping, I feel Korea is the best side. They will play against Greece the way they played against Spain a week ago in a friendly...Very organized and tight. If not for a great late strike from Jesus Navas, the game would have been a draw. I think Korea could steal a win from Greece. Greece for some reason rubs me wrong, maybe its because i heard Lexi Lalas say he thought Greece was a strong dark horse, who I believe to be the biggest clown to ever lace up cleats. If not for that, I recall Greece getting man handled in the Euros, and in the qualifiers their only real competition was Switzerland (pleaaaaaase). Take the hard working Koreans. They have never reached a second round stage in a World Cup tournament, besides the one played on their own soil in 2002. I think this year, they believe they have a legit shot

Argentina -1 -145 (145 to win 100)
Argentina/Nigeria Over 3 +130 (50 to win 65)
Argentina is one of my favorites of the tournament. They play seamlessly comfortable with eachother, and are easy on the eye. Attractive football wont always win you the Cup, but it will get you far. For them not to grab all 3 points I would be shocked. 1 goal would be enough to push on the bet, but the probability of getting another is good. The attacking line up is second to none in my opion. Messi, Tevez, Higuian, and Di Maria, annnnnnnnnd Milito and Augero on the bench??? This team is more than capabable of putting in a half dozen goals at any time. This isn’t to discredit Nigeria, I like Nigeria, I just think the time for them to grab points might have to come later. They do have the fire power to scare Argentina in the beginning, and with some rusty veterans like Heinze and Veron in the back, I could see Nigeria scoring. But in the end, Argentina will wear them down, and one of the for mentioned strikers will pocket in 1, and like Dominos, Nigeria will fall to another quick goal. I like this play alot but I will have to stick with money management and still rate it as a 1 Unit play.

England -1 -115 (115 to win 100)
Ok, the main event. First I have to say, I was hurt very bad by this same U.S. team, when the US beat Spain in the confederations cup last summer. It was one of my largest plays ever in gambling and I lost. The U.S. side is a hard working, blue collar type of football team, and i expect that same type of effort. But the reality is, England is a powerhouse, and with the “Phil Jackson” of European coaches manning up the sidelines (Fabio Capello), I expect England to win. I am thinking this could be one of the best games of the group stages. Originally I thought that England would walk over the U.S. It still could happen, but something tells me it could be close. So if its close we push, Im not laying -200 this early.

im with you Mob on every single play. Will probably make the plays official tomorrow but i really like those picks. My opinion of Argentina is biased, but i think they will blow the hell out of Nigeria. South Korea definitely has the edge and i would definitely take them over Greece. Matter of fact, i made a HUGE play that Greece wouldn't get through the group.
England is the more shaky play for me as i believe that USA can play either extremely good or extremely bad (especially their defense)
Best of luck and $$$$$$$$ let the money rainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn $$$$$$$$$$

Nice call on South Korea, wish we were awake to make the play.

I couldn't agree more with each of your analysis in both basketball and soccer thus far.

I also lost one of my biggest gambling plays on spain vs US in the confederations cup because I felt it was the most automatic 18% return ever haha.

Anyway, I think a 3-1 England win is in order. England isn't fucking around. GL

A great performance from the Nigerian goalkeeper and a fluke mistake from Englands goalkeeper prevents me from having a winning day

Argentina Over 3 +130 50 to win 60 (1-0) LOSS
