what!?

the Texans game could have went either way? Nooooo

One of the basis of Loren's system is that the games are fixed. That means the outcome has been determined. It doesnt go either way, it goes the way of the house or they lose money. I guess it was determined that the house should lose money on that game. Maybe its a super set-up for 9 weeks down the road.

Carolina just didnt show up? noooo...the games are fixed. It doesnt matter if they dont show up. They should win if it is fixed.

Kansas City? Nope. Baltimore won.

You cant continually make excuses for losing bets. If the games are fixed, then they (the house) should win.

ahahaha This is good stuff, "games are fixed, that's why I'm losing". "The games were fixed for the public to win this week, that way the house can really get em next week". LMFAO

Oh yeah it was rigged alright....this is why I had them listed as teams to be weary of....along with the Patriots & Colts games...as well as the Falcons & Bengals games...this is why weeks ago I said to watch and be very mindful of these teams...as they have made the Casinos plenty of money and now are free to make a playoff run...Had this been mid season, the Bengals & the Falcons would have coughed it up...no doubt. This is what makes it hard for the sharps who said "the hell with those teams this week"....same goes for the Steelers....

New England & Indy along with Seattle may have had a litle turbulance along the way but they never went into outright tailspins...and covered in the right spots. Unlike the Bengals, Falcons & Steelers who went on vacation for most of the season...only to turn it on...after the sharps and even some of the public had abandoned them....

You should have switched with your opinion games?

Isnt it your opinion that the games are rigged? You posted a thread ( #257 ) that must have taken you 3 hours to type with all of your italics and fancy colours and underlining, and then you come out after you go 1-3 and say that you should have switched your opinion games. How can you say that? Are you holding back games and not giving all of your plays? What about your loyal disciple Bet Some More? Are you only giving him the B Grade opinions?

" Just goes to show that it is not always about going against the public "

You have written soliliquoy after soliliquoy for the past month about fading the public and how the games are rigged for the house and against the public, and then when you have a blowout Sunday you come back with an " Oh well, perhaps its not all about this and that ". So what are you saying? That the past month, and the 700 man hours at your computer you have spent telling us that all of the games are rigged and that it is blatantly obvious for everyone without an ego to see isnt so blatant afterall?

So now you want it both ways. These games are rigged, but some time theyre not.

I thought you were just starting to get it, or so you said. Loren78 has never been about " sooner or later ". The games are rigged and he has been telling you why for the past month. Yet he couldnt ( and wouldnt ) tell us why the public won last year, just like the public won this week.

He has named five team to be wary ( not weary by the way Loren ) yet he didnt suggest to play any of their games this week. Whats the point if youve got teams you like to fade and you avoid their games.

Thursday Night Football

Week 14 was a rough week and a rather difficult one to figure out. We saw big favourites cover and dogs unexpentantly not cover. As I said back in week 11, the second half of the season would look a bit different than the first half as some of the teams who werent covering would start to win and cover with more consistency.....

http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=427770

Thursday Night is no exception as Seattle is a spot that normally would demand the dog be the play, and yet the numbers dont indicate that...San Francisco has had there fair share of covers and Seattle is coming off a poor performance against the Cardinals...The numbers tonight clearly reflect the opinions that have been formed during the first half of the season when San Francisco was covering and Seattle struggled to cover against mediocre teams like Oakland. Unfortunately we are now in the latter half of the second half of the season. Where mediocre teams start to look ahead to next year and Popular & Public teams like Seattle, New York, Atlanta, & Cincinnati start to regain focus and prepare to make final statements before the playoff run for 06.......

We are now at a point in the season when teams like the Bengals & the Falcons as well as the Giants whom the world had left for dead, are now going to "turn it on" again. This is happening beause the public is fed up and the amount of money the House stands to loose if these teams cover as dogs or favourites is not substantial. Now it is true the Falcons will get a higher percentage of action against the Skins but so did the Bengals against the Browns who did not cover last week...Those of you who follow my formula may have been suprised by that game. Now you may understand why that game turned out the way it did.

http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=422156&page=9
We saw an example of this in Pittsburgh's win last week over the Cleveland Browns...and this weeks percentages in the Seattle/San Francisco game seem to echo a repeat of last weeks results....

http://www.sportsbook.com/

Cleveland Browns ML = 39 % / Spread = 49 %
Pittsburgh Steelers ML = 61 % / Spread = 51 %

http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=422156&page=11
http://www.sportsbook.com/sportsbook/betting-trends.php

San Francisco ML = 14 % / Spread = 45 %
Seattle ML = 86 % / Spread = 55 %
As I have said previously, this is the time of year where teams start like to remind the public as well as themselves of why they are going to the playoffs. With the big Cross Conference rival San Diego Chargers coming in next week, Seattle cannot afford to look sloppy....I expect them to get the job done....

Seattle - 9.5....is the play

I have noticed that since his blowout last week his postings have reduced drastically. He is already starting to cover his ass which I am loving. Still no addressing of why the public won last year though.

" As I said back in week 11, the second half of the season would look a bit different than the first half as some of the teams who werent covering would start to win and cover with more consistency.....

Perhaps not all of the games are fixed any more, or the fixers are getting outfixed by the fixees?

Apologize to those of you who may have followed my line of reasoning in regards to the Seattle game from 2 nights ago. When you approach the NFL with my kind of reasoning ie "the fixed element", picking favourites becomes quite difficult. And picking dogs becomes almost automatic. Dog being the key word here because that is the exact direction we are heading in on Saturday Night. Lets go back to Week 13 & Week 14....

Two of the most intriguing teams that have consistently been on my radar these past few weeks have been the Falcons...& The Bengals. If you study carefully you will realize they are both one and the same....

Think long and hard about what that means to the Casinos...Ask yourselves this question...Can the Casinos afford to have these teams kinds of teams cover week in and week out if the majority of the public is on them? The answer is of course no....The Casinos understand this all too well and the Syndicate will make sure the Casinos dont have to deal with the reality of such a disaster occuring.

If you study carefully, you will realize that each of those teams listed seem to follow a formula. A pattern if you will, that they all seem to go through at varying times during the season. They will loose and or not cover to the same kinds of teams, they will win and cover to the same kind of teams. You will notice that those public teams tend to win and cover when the majority of the betting public, square & sharp have become completely fed up over them...Incidentally, the House usually does not loose money on these teams when they cover in this situation. Why is it that the Casinos seem to always be on the right side when these teams dont cover and the right side when they do...?

The idea of course is to implant false perceptions of the teams in the publics mind early on so that down the line the Casinos can make huge profits on games where the public is usually one side because of that teams past performances. Now understand this that in reality...the Bengals, Falcons, Giants, Patriots & Bears are all teams that are trully capable of running the table in the NFL. This is established early on in the season when those teams play to their true potential. Those teams then take dives for a certain amount of time during the season....only to turn it on again when the public has grown fed up of them....

THE CASINOS DONT MIND WHEN THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THEN THOSE TEAMS CAN BE ALLOWED TO PLAY TO THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL BECAUSE THE HOUSE WILL NOT TAKE A TREMENDOUS HIT...BECAUSE THE PERCENTAGE OF ACTION THE TEAM RECEIVES WILL BE FAR LOWER THAN IT WAS PRIOR TO THEIR "LOOSING" STREAK...

We are now at a point in the season when teams like the Bengals & the Falcons as well as the Giants whom the world had left for dead, are now going to "turn it on" again. This is happening beause the public is fed up and the amount of money the House stands to loose if these teams cover as dogs or favourites is not substantial. Over the next two weeks pay very close Attention to the Atlanta Falcons....if you examine the correlation between them and the Bengals, you will see an identical pattern....lets take a look.....

Look who Cincinnati played in Week 12, a week after their win as a [Dog...

Cincinnati 30, Cleveland 0 - Week 12

Now let me get this straight....The same Cleveland Browns who beat the Falcons & nearly stole one away from the Chargers AND WHO ALSO BEAT THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS today while NOT ALLOWING LARRY JOHNSON IN THE END ZONE.....MANAGED TO GET SHUT OUT BY A TEAM WHOS SEASON WHAS SUPPOSED TO BE OVER???...According to the experts....

This same Bengal team went on to beat one of the leagues hottest teams if not the hottest, the Baltimore Ravens. Lets take a look at Atlantas schedule....

Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Week 14 - Are they going to cover as favourites? Not necessarily but if you have been paying attention to what I have been talking about here, surely you could understand why this game corelates to the Bengals game vs the Browns last week. It should be noted that both the Browns and the Bucs were the teams costing people money earlier in the year when they were covering as dogs...against the more public teams...And now tha the public money or at least the spotlight in the very least is now off of Atlanta....would it not make sense to see them cover as a favourite in this spot? Then look who they play the following week

Dallas at Atlanta - Week 15 - 8pm - Saturday Night

Theres that Deja Vu Again...this game reminds me of another recent primetime and most difficult game to cap....

Cincinnati 13, Baltimore 7 - Week 13

http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=422156&page=10
Again, Dallas would seem to be the right play in this position and it would be so easy to pull the trigger here as Atlanta would seemingly be in a position to pack it up so to speak...but the trends seem to indicate other wise. Michael Vicks Pride is on the line. And the money is coming down heavy on the Boys..And with this recent news of Moras true loyalties being elsewhere...the betting public is sure to bail out on Atlanta....but not me....ludicrous...maybe...I'l take the points...

Atlanta +3.5.....is the play

NFL Week 15 Selections

Given the time restriction, I am going to keep this one brief. As of right now, the following teams are receiving a large amount of money and by now you are well aware of what that means....

New England -12.5
Chicago - 13.5
Green Bay -5
New Orleans -10
Baltimore - 11

The action is extremely Lop Sided...and the teams they are facing are coming off loses while they are coming off wins...this is as I have said before, this is the ideal situation to have when considering the Dog.

The following favourites based on the the premise I set forth in the original post, also seem to be in a good spot this weekend....the action is more evenly distributed and 2 out of 3 of the teams has beaten their opponent once this year already

Minnesota -3
Jacksonville - 3.5
Buffalo -1

When figuring out this weeks selections, I also took into account a trend that I picked up on earlier in the year...4 out of 5 times this year teams who have played an opponent at home in their previous matchup, have beaten that opponent in the rematch....

Detroit 17 @ Minnesota 26 - Week 5 - Home Win
Detroit 20 @ Minnesota 30 - Week 14 - Road Win

Jacksonville 7 @ Houston 27 - Week 7 - Home Win
Jacksonville 10 @ Houston 13 - Week 10 - Road Win

Houston 22 @ Tennessee 28 - Week 8 - Home Win
Houston 20 @ Tennesee 26 - Week 14 - Road Win

Kansas City as well as Jacksonville are now in a position to continue this trend. Just some thing to consider when making your selections today...

RECAP

Houston + 12.5
Tampa Bay + 13.5
Detroit +5
Washington +10
Cleveland +13
Jacksonville -3
Minnesota -3
Buffalo -1

Ummm....he was wrong. Atlanta +3.5 was the play and they lost by 10.

His card for today went like 50%. 4-4 I think. His card last week was a losing card I believe. How many excuses, and how many wrong picks do you need to see before you realize that this MASS conspiracy theory holds no water....

If games are fixed and he knows how to get on the right side of the fix, then his picks should be NEAR FLAWLESS since the house is fixing games via media and public perception in order to WIN money.

Still no explanation for last year. "I forgot what happened last year" doesnt cut it.

My sentiments exactly Boxslayer. If you are of the opinion that the games are fixed, and you can tell us which ones ( fuck the whys ), then you should be almost pitching a shutout, aside from the odd screw up that no one can avoid. However, the past couple of weeks youve been extremely wrong, and there has been no reasoning from you as to why this has been the case, except that " some times, the house wants the public to win so as to keep fooling them ".

Your contrarian theory will have its good and bad weeks ( as it has done ) like most average gamblers. Can we now please stop with the " games are fixed "? 12 pages later, your thread is becoming obselete and your logic flawed, as less and less of your fixed games are following your logic, and your big fix and conspiracy theories are on the wane..
