That's awfully close. There is also a contract on just the re-election overall, not state by state. That contract is priced around $0.52. The Kerry contract is priced at $0.48. The race is really tight and may go down to the wire, like last time.

Drastic cuts in public education and health care was actually a trend started by Reagan.

With all due respect Damian a person of a minority siding with the right makes little sense. The right's attitude towards the poor is let them kill each other, jail them or put them in the military. Example's of that are laws like 3 strikes your out or Reagan's over staffing the military with minorities in the 80's. All that acomplished was creating a bunch near 30 to 30 something year old vets with no job skills for the civilian market, that were eventually pushed out of the military to reduce spending to recover from the debt Ronnie incurred.
