I'm down with that.

We're all big boys. Every fantasy football league I've been in there was never 100% agreement on the rules and that was a lot of shit talked back and forth all year but in the end we all sat around and drank beer with each other. Just because everybody doesn't agree with me on defenses and kickers doesn't mean I'm gonna I'm gonna pick up my ball and leave. We will be fine.

I just increased the 2020 rosters to 20. Dude, if you don't like it, change it back. If there's opposition to it, we'll move it back to 18. We already have support for moving it to 18 for this year

I did it in an attempt to mitigate growing concerns about late scratches, including defenses and kickers

I initially signed in just to see how many we can have, and Yahoo allows a lot more than most. CBS has capped our roster size to 17

18 is enough. You get more than that and there is too much stashing and not enough on the waiver wire.

No difference to me, and I don't want to continue down this path of random changes. We agreed on 18, I think we keep it at 18

To be clear, next year we go back to 16 man rosters, we eliminate the .5 PPR and we vote on any changes to the rules that existed in 2019 (2019 will be our base year, not 2020)

Dude, you're the commissioner, do you agree?

NBA, I'm sorry your voice wasn't heard during the discussions, I appreciate your concerns. We've always been a by the book league because of the money involved. But this is a bizarre year, in so many different ways. I'm hoping you stay, and next year we'll be better at this stuff. With 4 new guys, with trying to hold this thing together, with a very short window to pull this off, we took a few shortcuts and I'm part of that problem too.

Look forward to drafting with you Sunday night, 9:00 PM, and then watching you turn over your roster 3x :). We need the trader to keep the blood flowing

Lol willie - we definitely need NBA and his trades to add some spunk.

agree w next year - added .5 ppr to help allow more players in the pool to have some value to level out from late scratches and other uncertainties.
next year can vote on all changes.

Haha. Yeah NBA spices things up. Heatwave thinks we have discourse now, just wait until NBA makes one of his WTF trades.

LOL. Only reason I commented like I did was because I have never heard folks in any league ever say - "if we change/don't change the rules to X, I am not playing". I guess it makes sense if you really don't want to see certain things. Kind of like when I said I would only play if you have 12. Same concept.

Trades are funny - I like to play with guys that think out of the box in regards to player values. As long as the reasoning is to better his or her own team, and not load up one team on purpose.

Looking forward to the league and NFL in general.

I was in a 10 team league and we had 20 man rosters and that enabled guys to stockpile guys just so someone couldn't pick them up and some weeks there was just nobody there on the waiver wire. I'm afraid 20 man in a 12 team league would be even worse. That's the only reason I said 18 Willie. Wasn't trying to be a dick.

I just reached out to shdw01 with both a PM and an e-mail to his e-mail address found on Yahoo

He hasn't posted since 8/19

In June he said he was in, if we don't hear soon we have to make another call. VD has said he'd play if we need him, my buddy Richie is still out there in an emergency

Waiting on him to finalize draft order. What are you thinking for a deadline? Tomorrow? Friday?

I have a guy as well. So we have options. Rather keep it in house

FYI - I found shdw on Facebook and he just messaged me back and said he hadn’t been on as much but still wanted in.
he wasn’t 100% he could make draft time - so he was going to try and rearrange some things or find a co-manager to draft for him.

since he is on Hawaii time he has asked if he can have Thursday to figure it out - otherwise can finalize replacement.
