this was my fear today... was praying Lamar would start
Huntley should start somewhere. More accurate thrower than Lamar, but also super mobile. Also very poised in his decision making.

Kind of surprised Harbaugh went for 2 again. Helped me out because I had Ravens covering at only 5.5

Browns moved from 4th place to 12th place on that field goal by the Raiders. Should be a fun few weeks in the AFC....

Think we could be seeing the two best teams in the AFC in Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday

Buffalo made a major adjustment this past Sunday. Josh Allen showed the patience and willingness to go underneath with his passes. That, in my opinion, is new and makes that offense much more dangerous. I've got Buffalo as #1 or #2 with Kansas City. I then put a healthy Indy third. If Tennessee can get healthy they are somewhere in that mix even without Henry. THen the Pats and Cincy. Can't see anyone else posing anything that could amount to a threat.

Gonna be a lot of fun this year.

I do think the AFC will win the SB. I am not impressed with any of the NFC teams.

Cincy nice story but what have they really done? Win a close game against the Broncos and caught the Ravens at the right time with their secondary decimated and 3rd string QB? Before that they lost in OT home vs SF and lost a game vs LAC that was a little closer than the score indicated but still 2 straight home losses. Their best win is probably @ Vegas no joke.

NE would be running well to play them rd 1 in a 3 v 6 or 4 v 5

KC at home with the bye seems like they get in
But a tough running style team like Colts would be a team with a chance to upset them

So do the Titans, so I say that not liking Wentz anymore than Tannehill.

I don't think anyone wants to face the Colts or Titans (with a healthy Henry).

I agree, a healthy Henry running down hill in the 2nd Half in a cold January game, will be tough with the Wide Receivers they have.

you will have to pick your poison, on what you stop.

I like them a little bit over the pack because of their passing game. Burrow averaging 8.7 yards per attempt with the volume at which he's throwing/inconsistency of the running game is absurd. I think that kind of upside edges out a pretty flawed pack of AFC teams, aside from KC IMO.

I don't actually expect Cincy to even make the AFC Championship game, but I think at the moment they are a little better than the rest of the teams in contention for that second spot.

Cincy is only even like 75% to make the playoffs, good chance they have to beat the Browns week 18. And Chubb put his Chubb on their forehead last time those teams played. I don’t mean to be vulgar but that’s what it was. So long way to go for them.

All of those other teams in the AFCN have issues tho so for intrigue purposes it would be better if they made it

Yeah they're by no means a lock to make the playoffs. Only one team has clinched so far. I still think they're better than the other teams who haven't clinched.

Fact is we could poke a lot of holes in all of these teams, including KC.

But the other teams that haven’t clinched are far higher than 75% to make the playoffs, it’s just formality for them

They miss if Cle just wins 2 straight and they lose to KC, won’t take much.

Not to long ago , some had the Ravens and AZ as the best teams in both conferences and the top seeds. Neither one belong in the playoffs imo..

Is how good a team is directly proportional to their playoff odds entering Week 17? I give Cincy at least a slight edge over Buffalo, Tenn, Indy, and NE. I think they're the second best team in the conference at the moment by a small margin.

I expect the Bengals to beat the Browns in Week 18 regardless. I probably shouldn't comment too much on predictions though in case those fuckers tied for 2nd in the contest are trying to get a read on me

Coaching alone gives those 4 teams the edge on Cincy from my viewpoint.

I think all five teams have at least good coaches. Obviously Bill is the GOAT, but I'd be happy with any of the remaining 4.

Zac Taylor has done a nice job. Great fit with Burrow and great offensive mind.

No, obviously you can be a top 3-4 team and miss the playoffs with a few bad losses at the end (obv harder these days with 7 teams)

But I just wouldn’t have them ranked that high, they’ve benefited from a lot of good fortune w/ the other division teams issues to be in the spot they’re in right now.

Them vs NE would be interesting, NE secondary vs their WRs, strength on strength
