I thought bob was crying because he's an alcoholic, and he was drinking the wine. I remember last season he almost got someone killed for a drink.

Was Bob drinking for sure? I didn't notice a wine goblet. I did notice a definite change in him after being dragged down by the water logged zombie, so I assumed he had been munched on and didn't want to tell anyone. I think one of the other characters even asked him if he was okay (emotionally).

Bob must have some kind of history with the hunters, why would garrett even think about letting him talk before the butchering? then when he is captured Garrett is talking to Bob about how appropriate it was that he was captured first.

Bob, Carol, that lesbian girl, the priest... all have secrets things that they are hiding... Did Bob get bit? or was he struggling with something he knows about the hunters?

I noticed that as well... but maybe Garett and the Hunters were hunting for anyone, I mean not Rick's group necessarily. They needed to eat and started trailing and found Rick and Co.

But that would be an awesome plot twist. I remember Bob saying he was with 2 groups before being with Rick. And he was the only survivor of both groups. But, doesn't make sense him leading them into Terminus having history with them. And there's no secret alliance because he was about to get his head chopped.

THEN AGAIN HE WAS LAST IN LINE TO BE BEHEADED. Why not Rick?

I'm really pissed to see the group splitting up again. Frustrating.

Fuck, those cannibals were a good group for the show. I thought they could have lasted longer. Really pissed how they went so easily.

I knew they weren't going to be the main enemy or issue for this season. im glad they killed off someone who had been around for awhile, helps keep it fresh and gives the people meaning

I am about to say something I haven't said since this show began.

That was a bad episode.

That was by far the worst episode of the Walking Dead. The fact they killed off the cannibal group for this is so depressing. I couldn't even finish it and fast forwarded through some parts. So sad.

First time I have ever, and i mean EVER lost interest halfway through the episode

Even some of the slow episodes at the farm served a purpose and still had me on the hook the entire time.

It was so bad, there was one point in the show I had to check my DVR to make sure I was watching the Walking Dead. It sucks because I thought the first two episodes this year were two of the best in the franchise. Hopefully they recover somehow.

+1

Very dissapointed.

Writers ignored what people said about last season's episode "Still" (the one were Beth and Daryl just go looking for booze like idiots and end up moonshining in a cabin). Worst episode by then and the topped that one, unbelievable. Gimme half that episode with something else, tell me how Carol and Daryl got busted I don't know.

Why not put Morgan in some scenes ffs.

The writers are examining sociological theory. They are using this imagined environment to examine how human beings respond to extreme duress. I am guessing we will be introduced to new characters every three or four episodes who have devolved and their resulting insanity. The militant cop in the hospital could have been done a lot better. Pretty lame. Lots of material they can dive into and they sorta wasted that episode I'd say.

So true!! I thought the cannibal group was a great contrast to the Governor battle. The Governor wanted a society and welcomed people in. These cannibals didn't trust anyone and wanted to hunt and torture anyone they found. I really thought that would be a good story line! If they keep on this hospital with these boring ass new characters, I'll be pissed!

I doubt the hospital storyline will last that long, the group there is not unified and not particularly strong. The only thing they have going for them is fortification from the outside. I didn't think the episode was terrible per say, it just wasn't on par with the normal 'best show on tv' caliber of WD. The fact that Beth is one of the least liked and least developed characters probably had a lot to do with why it 'sucked' for most to watch. I liked that they gave glimpses of what post-apocalyptic Atlanta looked like now since all we have seen is the middle of nowhere Georgia landscape for much of the last several seasons. Now that Carol is on the scene I expect the next hospital episode to really pick up because surely she will light things up a bit.

I don't think she's the less liked... but yeah not well developed.

The only thing I loved about the episode was the camera work. Good sequences.
