Fade Adams Tuesday Game Analysis

[h=4]Tuesday's Selection ...[/h] For Tuesday night in college basketball, Top-Rated 1000♦ Double-Digit Rout is the North Carolina Tar Heels as the favorite against the Butler Bulldogs. This game is being played in Maui, and is listed as an 8:00 pm eastern tip-off from Hawaii.

Last Friday when I gave you NC State to blow-out UMass, I told you that Massachusetts was due for a letdown after a pair of last second wins, and indeed, the Minutemen got run out of the neutral site gym. I see a similar scenario tonight in this Butler-North Carolina "neutral site" contest.

I use the word "neutral" lightly, because if you watched UNC last night destroy Miss State, you saw a gymnasium full of Carolina blue in the seats. North Carolina must have offered a special alumni deal, because if the Heels don't have the home court advantage, then I am a monkey's uncle!

Butler got by Marquette last night on a buzzer-beater, and while I respect coach Brad Stevens and the job he is doing, the Bulldogs appear to be a team to watch a little later in the season when all their pieces start to gel. Remember, Butler was handled with ease by Xavier recently, losing to their new conference rival by 15 points one week ago.

The Bulldogs will be just a little empty tonight after last night's emotional win, and the Tar Heels will get the early jump like they did on the other Bulldogs last night, and use the decided home crowd to their advantage as they advance to the final of the Maui Invitational tomorrow night.

Lay the wood with UNC.

Fade Adams Wednesday Game Analysis

[h=4]Wednesday's Selection ...[/h] For Wednesday night in the NBA, Top-Rated 1000♦ Road Warrior Lock is the visiting New York Knicks against the Dallas Mavericks. As of 8:00 am eastern when I release this selection, the Knickerbockers are the -2 point road favorites both in Vegas and offshore.

I know when something looks too good in the NBA, it usually does not work out, but how can I go against the Knicks right now?

New York blew open a close (53-48 at the break) game last night in New Orleans, en-route to a 102-80 win and cover. I know they are now playing a back-to-backer, but the way the Knicks are playing defense this season, I don't see this back-to-back situation bothering them against a Dallas team that is still without Dirk. It is a Dallas team they have already beaten 104-94 at Madison Square Garden on November 9th.

That loss was the start of 5 losses over their last 7 games coming into tonight's home game for the Mavericks who just don't seem to have the proper mix with Nowitzki sidelined.

The Knicks are now 8-1 for the season, and a perfect 5-0 against the spread when laying the lumber. I am sure the price on this one is going to go up a little before tip-off tonight, so get down as early as you can on New York as the small road favorite to keep their winning ways rolling into Thanksgiving Thursday.

Fade Adams Thursday Game Analysis

[h=4]Thanksgiving Selection ...[/h] For Thursday in the NFL, Raise the Bar 1500♦ Winner #7 of 10 is the Dallas Cowboys as the home favorite against the visiting Washington Redskins. As of 10:00 pm eastern time on Wednesday night, the Cowboys are a -3 point choice over the 'Skins both in Vegas and at the offshore books.

Well aware of the fact that Dallas has failed 7 in a row in their home stadium, and well aware of the fact that this is a "homecoming" for Robert Griffin III, but holding the pathetic Philadelphia Eagles to 6 points is not a "green light" for me to back the visiting 'Skins plus just a field goal here.

I believe the Cowboys are a little undervalued today, and I am set to cash the ticket with the Pokes who have been money at home on Thanksgiving Day. Dallas has won and covered 5 of their last 6 on Thanksgiving Thursday, and they are 8-3 against the spread on Turkey Day since the '01 season. I don't know what it is about this day, but it always seems to bring out the best in the team with the star on their helmets.

Remember that prior to Washington's 31-6 mercy kill over Philly, the Redskins had been mired in a 3 game slide. Yes, Mike Shanahan has covered all 4 against Dallas since 2010, but the Cowboys comeback win in overtime versus the Browns will be the springboard this team needs to get them over the hump today by a TD and draw them one game closer to the Giants in the winnable NFC East standings.

Short week for both, but the Cowboys are at home, and do have that mighty fine Thanksgiving Day record in play for themselves.

Go with Dallas.

Fade Adams Friday Game Analysis

[h=4]Friday's Selection ...[/h] For Friday night in college football, 1500♦ Three TD Blowout is the Cincinnati Bearcats as the home favorite against the visiting South Florida Bulls. As of 11pm eastern on Thanksgiving night when I release this selection, the Bearcats are -13 1/2 point favorites over the Bulls.

On the surface this number seems a bit imposing to lay with the host, as Buth Jones has taken to benching the Munch Man, Munchie Legaux due to his sloppy play, but I think there are a couple of very strong factors favoring a play on the double-digit home chalk in this spot.

First of all, USF has not scored a touchdown in the 2 games since QB Daniels went down with a broken ankle, as the Bulls are now 1-7 straight up slide, and a 2-6 against the spread slide their last 8 games this season.

Then there is the fact they are playing this game at Nippert Stadium under the lights on what is going to be a "nippy" Nippert Stadium, and I am sure the Bulls will want no part of this game the longer into the night they play. This is the home finale for the 7-3 Bearcats who were bottled up by the rugged Rutgers defense last week at home in a 10-3 loss.

Prior to their sputtering 3-point performance, Cincy had been averaging quite close to 35 points per game. The 'Cats are 5-1 against the spread in Jones' tenure as head coach in the Queen City when installed as the double-digit favorite, so expect Cincinnati's offense to get back on track against the porous Bulls secondary.

Finally, Cincinnati is on a righteous 7-1 spread run in this series with the outright win in 5 of the last 6 meetings.

Calling for a 34-13 final score when this one is in the books on a cold night in Cincinnati.
