I learned a painful lesson in this just last season in the Vikes/Chiefs game played at minny. I looked at so much stupid crap to arrive at KC. when really I just needed to know: moss at home, vikes need a win, KC no good on the road. vikes actually had more talent. to boot, it was a great spot for them.

What happened the next week? Didnt the Vikings need the WIN too? Didnt they have ALOT more talent? Wasnt it a great spot for them too?

Fishhead, here are my three simple NFL rules:

1. ALWAYS lay over -3
2. Don't bother to shop for the best possible line
3. Make sure that the team you're betting on is also a HUGELY POPULAR bet among the public

Boys, that'll get you where you deserve to be, trust me

Vikes were terrible in the road in '03. .talent edge, yes. .against the line? no. better spot for AZ, nothing to lose home game season finale against a weak road team. but in your defense, all of this is easy to say now. but I never viewed that club as a pull it all together for a big win type.

Dec 20 Kansas City Won 45-20
Dec 28 @Arizona Lost 17-18

i just opened up this thread for the first time now and I know the answer to this question. this one is easy, and just has to be right, no matter what shrink says. Now i don't know if someone answered it, because i didnt' read the whole thread here.

But the most important factor is a DEFINITELY the snapper..

Shrink, prepare my free drink..

Here is my FINAL answer after rethinking this all day...

There are TWO, one is technical, the other is not...

1-KNOWING WHAT SIDE OF THE GAME BILLY WALTERS IS REALLY ON....

If you guys don't think that is CRITICAL, then check around with every offshore bookmaker that is begging to know this information...

2-KNOWING WHERE THE BEST VALUE IS...

Is it the Money line? The first half spread? The quarter lines? Or the line for the entire game?

Many gamblers can improve themselves enormously as a sports bettor by understanding just this particular aspect of handicapping...

I know some of you won't agree, but this is my FINAL answer...

Now WHO do I have to buy drinks for, lol?

Is knowing what BW is on still the most important factor AFTER he plays it en masse (and thus after the inevitable line move)?

This "factor" assumes that BW knows more than the capper.

By the way, I disagree. The most important factor is getting the best number and only playing into particularly generous numbers. Of course, knowing BW plays may assist in this regard.

Believe me, Billy does...

The results speak for themselves...

He is to sports betting as what Michael Jordan used to be for the NBA...

There is not a greater superstar amongst us...

shrink, with all due respect you are way too caught up in billy folklore. forget that kid, youre never going to bigger than him until you can just put that
tlksm.gif
behind you. I know at least 3 people here that can hit a higher percentage than him. dont let the money intimidate you. just think about how god awful he is at college hoops, it isnt hard to picture him being equally as bad at everything else.

lastly dont ever compare a degenerate to michael jordan. the guy lost his house throwing nickels for cris sake. shrink, you founded the rx. not some weak ass golf course.
