Shrink and his wife were going to Duck, NC which is in the outer banks, on the coast of NC. Waynesville is western NC and Asheville is central NC.

I don't want to speculate anything anymore. I know this story effects alot in this online community. I am sad to hear this. I wish I would of had the honor of meeting the man. I lived in Norfolk area for years and a graduate of ODU. There he was the whole time. My thoughts are with his family and friends of his.

Foul play possible in two Haywood deaths

WAYNESVILLE — The Police Department has opened a criminal investigation after two bodies were found at a residence early Saturday.

Few details were available as of late Saturday. Police Chief Bill Hollingsed said police were still trying to notify next of kin and more information would be released this afternoon.

The bodies were found about 12:45 a.m. at a residence on Intrepid Drive, Hollingsed said.

“We're investigating it as involving foul play,” he said.
