That Pacers game seemed too easy even prior to tipoff and then with lang on the Bucks it was pretty much a guaranteed winner. Wire to Wire OUTRIGHT OUTRIGHT OUTRIGHT. Pube head Bucked again sans lube.

Or the Bowyer guy knows the Feds will say nothing either way and Bowyer can act like he was a bookie with an inside and sell (you guessed it) books and interviews to get attention. Sorta like Langer, hmm

I can’t see him backing a team that couldn’t cover 14 but it’s a lot of points so who knows but I’d bet he’s on Celtics.

Right again my friend

The Pick: My 75 Dime winner is the Boston Celtics.

The Line:
The current line is a -14 1/2 in Vegas and offshore as of 1:00 pm EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis

Let's not complicate things tonight.

Sometimes in this business you just have to throw the number out the window because it just doesn't matter.

And in the case of this match-up tonight, it just doesn't matter.

Without Jimmy Butler and his 20 points a game, without Terry Rozier and his 20 points a game, the Miami Heat have to make up 40 points.

Now Tyler Herro is good but he isn't that good.

The Celtics did a really good job in game one, fully knowing he was the key for the Heat offensively.

Well, Herro was 4 of 13 from the floor, 3 of 9 from behind the arc for 11 points.

Bam Adebayo had a good game with 24 and rookie Jamie Jaquez had 16 and Delon Wright came off the bench with 17.

But when you are facing the #1 seed Celtics, making up 40 points of offense is just too hard to do.....especially on the road.

In game one the Celtics led by 15 at the half and 32 entering the 4th quarter before pulling one of their, "let you back in the game" meltdowns.

Heat came all the way back and got it to 14 with over a minute to go before Boston scored the last 6 of the game for the 114-94 win.

I saw nothing, absolutely nothing, the Heat can do to stay within 20 of this Boston team at home tonight.

Bottom line: 40 points is just too much to make up against the #1 seed.

Against the Chicago Bulls.....yes, you can make it up but against Boston, it's just not going to happen.

Especially after they took their foot off the gas pedal in game one, they will be on high alert not to do it in game 2.

The easiest play on the board tonight is to lay the wood with the Boston boys.

He grasping. Has not watched Celtics. This team can flush a 15 point lead in 6-8 min of game clock or less. I been watching NBA since Larry Bird rookie year. Never seen a team flush a lead as often and as easy as Celtics. Anything can Happen here.

LANG'S PICK: BOSTON CELTICS -14 1/2

Day late and a dollar short.
The Pacers had lost 10 straight playoff games going back to 2018. I rode that streak to go to 11 in a row.
Problem is, everything I handicapped the Indiana Pacers to do in game one and they didn't, is exactly what they did in game two.
Oh, and everything I handicapped the Bucks to do in game one, they did in game two.
Only problem was, I flip flopped in a series where I should be 1-1 but instead I stand at 0-2 in the Pacers/Bucks series.
After 4 straight playoff winners highlighted by the 150 dime winner on Saturday, I have dropped 3 in a row.
Frustrating to say the least.
Here is where the bankroll stands:
$10 Bettor Up $4,137 last 25 days
Tonight is about 75 dime winner #7 of 10.
Let's go.

This whole story doesn't add up. As dumb as some athletes are, don't you at least have an accountant or lawyer keeping an eye on your finances even if your dumbass doesn't ever even take a peek? I mean shit, your accountant would need your Financials and this was over more than a year. He never questioned what the hell is going on with withdrawals?

So what does Lang do now if he has a pick on the hame in Miami??

Does he go against the Celtics since they lost for him tonight or come back with them since they came through for him in game 1,

or not bet the game at all and/or pick another game if one is being played on that day??

I would guess he doesn’t play it (he plays Denver/LA since it’s the latest game) but if he does he goes with Miami since Boston didn’t cover for him more recently.
