You could see it coming a mile away.
Up 79-69 with 3:15 to go, High Point was in complete control.
Over their next 6 possessions they hit 2 layups, turn it over twice, miss a 3--point jumper and next thing you know it's an 81-80 game.
That's when guard Duke Miles, an 81% free throw shooter goes to the line to shoot 2.
He misses both and that is your ball game.
Can't make this up. Kids choke. It's what they do. He was 5-5 from the line before those 2 but that boy was shitting his pants with those 2 free throws.
Tough pill to swallow on that one last night.

Sunday I banged home the 75 dime winner on UConn over Northwestern, tonight I make it 2 in a row.
It's also 75 dime #16 of my last 24 today. Nothing more. Nothing less.
This has been a money maker the last 2 months and I'm confident it will be a money maker today.

My Analysis

They are going to get exposed in a very big way.



The Alabama Crimson Tide should of sent Champaign and Caviar to the selection committee for essentially being handed the sweet sixteen.



After losing in the SEC tourney to Florida, giving up 102 points in the process, they were handed an overrated College Of Charleston team in the 1st round.



They blew them out 109-96 and them smiled as Grand Canyon upset St.Mary's.



The Antelopes gave the Tide all they could handle, actually leading 58-55 with 6:03 to play.



However, 4 horrific possessions and a 10-0 Bama run and that was all she wrote.



Folks, this is a Bama team that went 2-3 to close the season with a pair of embarrassing losses.



At Kentucky they were a 2-point dog got absolutely destroyed 117-95 and Florida 105-87.



Now, just because you had two very favorable matchups people think you are ready for North Carolina????



Just don't see it.



As for the Tar Heels, they started the tourney covering the 25 1/2 number against Wagner 90-62 and them blew out Tom Izzo and MSU 85-69.



This is a bad match up for Bama. Across the board, it's a bad match up.



North Carolina has advantages across the board and they will exploit the weaknesses all over the place.



Lay it with confidence tonight as the Tar Heels when by double digits.

LANG'S PICK: NORTH CAROLINA -4 1/2

Well, 75 dime winner #2 in a row didn't look very good as Norfolk State found itself down 18 in the first half with 4:52 to go.
However, they weren't 14-0 at home for the season by accident and the Spartans closed the half on a 13-5 run to cut it to 10.
Then they proceeded to come out in the 2nd half on a 20-8 run and just like that, a 2-point lead with 11:40 to play.
They would never trail again as they pulled away for the 75-67 outright win.
I said in my analysis, they were the #1 seed in their conference tournament facing the #8 seed in their conference tournament and yet we were getting points....hmmmmm.
I said in my analysis, I believed they would finish a perfect 15-0 at home and they did.
Enough said. Let's move on.
Sunday the 75 dime win on UConn. Monday the 50 dime winner on Purdue Fort Wayne.
Tuesday the 100 dime loss on High Point and their pathetic meltdown but the nice bounce back with the 75 dime win last night on Norfolk State.
Listen, I should be going for 5 straight winning days today but I can't help High Point blowing a 10-point lead with 3:29 to go and end up winning by 1.
However, going for winning day #4 out of 5 and my hottest release... the 150 dimer release on the table tonight, well I like where I am heading.
