My Analysis
They will be in trouble from the get go.
I am sick and tired of hearing people all season long talk about how great this Michigan defense is and most notably, this defensive line.
Trust me when I tell you, they have built that reputation facing some of the most garbage offenses this entire year.
Of the 14 teams they faced, the two best pass offenses were Maryland at #21 and Ohio State at #30.
The Terrapins' Taulia Tagovailoa went 21 of 31 for 247 yards as Maryland lost 31-24.
The Buckeyes Kyle McCord went 18 of 30 for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 30-24 loss, a game the officials took away from Ohio State.
Trust me when I tell you neither one of those QB's can hold Michael Penix Juniors nuts in an orgy.
And as for the Alabama game, that was a Bama offense sporting the 68th ranked pass offense behind an offensive line that struggled all year long.
Oh, and a QB in Joe Milroe, who couldn't read a blitz if you gave him Einstein's brain.
Look at who the Wolverines had to defend: UNLV #55, Penn St #78, Indiana #82, Purdue #84, Michigan St #96, B.Green #104, ECU #120 and Minnesota #123.
Or how about Rutgers #124, Nebraska #126 and Iowa #127.
Tonight, they face the #1 pass offense in all of College football in Washington with the best offensive line in all of college football.
Advantage Washington.
Let's go one step further. Let's go Total offense.
This defense has faced: UNLV #42, Ohio State #47, Penn St #53, Alabama #56, Maryland #63, Purdue #69, Indiana #99, BGU #107 and Nebraska #115.
How about Rutgers #120, Minnesota #122, Michigan State #125, East Carolina #127 and Iowa #130.
In their conference championship game they faced the worst offense in all of college football. What the fuck does that say about your conference???????
Washington has the #9 total offense.
This is the best offense with the best offensive line with the best QB this defense has seen all year long and mark my words.....THEY WILL GET EXPOSED!!!
I will go to my grave saying the Wolverines shouldn't have beaten Ohio State and they shouldn't have beaten Alabama.
They beat them because the Buckeyes Kyle McCord and Bama's Joe Milroe just weren't good enough to make one more play to get the win.
Michale Penix Jr is good enough to make that one last play and with the stable of wide receivers he has to throw to, that one last play WILL BE MADE.
Don't be surprised to see the Huskies shock the world and win this game outright.
