I have done that in College basketball the last 2 weeks hitting 4 in a row and today I make it 5.

I just don't see them losing this game.

The Clemson Tigers roll into Canada a perfect 8-0 to take on the 7-0 TCU Horn Frogs.

Great records for both teams right? Absolutely.

However, there is a huge difference between these two teams which in my opinion will show, Clemson is completely more battle tested that their opponent today.

Let's start with TCU.

Of their 7 wins, only 1 has come against a winning team and that was last Saturday at 5-3 Georgetown, winning 84-83, never coming close to covering the 9 1/2.

Trust me folks, they never should have won the game.

The other 6 wins have come against the following: 2-6 Southern, 5-5 Nebraska Omaha, 3-7 Texas Rio Grande, 0-9 Mississippi Valley State, 1-7 Alcorn State and 1-6 Houston Christian.

The only team they have played with any bite to them is the Hoyas and it's a game they should have lost.

Now let me show you Clemson.

Of their 8 wins, 7 have come against teams .500 or better and not just any teams, teams that in the last 10 years have all played in the NCAA tourney.

I'm talking 7-3 Winthrop, 4-4 UAB, 6-3 Davidson, 5-3 Boise State, 6-2 Alabama, 6-3 Pitt and 7-1 South Carolina.

Folks, do the math.

The combined record of the teams TCU has played is 17-43.

The combined record of the teams Clemson has played is 43-26.

For the life of me I don't understand why Clemson isn't laying at least 4 in this game.

The Tigers boast 3 of the top 22 scorers in the ACC from last year: Syracuse transfer Joe Girard III (#6), PJ Hall (#12) and Chase Hunter (#22).

This year out of the box Hall is averaging 20 a game, Girard 14 and Hunter 11.

You throw in 6'8 forward Ian Schieffelin's 9 points and 9 boards a game and you can see how excited head coach Brad Brownell was about this team at the beginning of the year.

In the win against undefeated South Carolina on Wednesday, all 5 starters scored in double digits.

It was 6'10 forward Chauncey Wiggins who led the way with 15 points while Schieffelin had a double double (12 points/12 boards.)

Hall, Girard and Hunter had 14, 12 and 10 respectively.

I'm not discounting the start by TCU but, based on strength of schedule, I just don't see Clemson losing to this team today. I just don't.

Tigers go to 9-0 with a big victory across the border.
