In addition to what i just said in the previous post, as an experienced sports gambler for over 50 years, I learned painfully a while back

that a lot more times than not that when there are overwhelming trends why team A should cover and overwhelming trends

why B SHOULDN'T cover and the the overwhelming number of people who bet including sports services are on team A, the best

course of action is play Team B or at the very least pass if you like Team A also.

For lack of a better way to put it, it I would compare it to two bulls locking horns facing horns facing one another!!

It is essentially no different than in other sports in situations such as late-breaking news such as a certain key hitter who has been on a tear

in baseball will not be in the lineup tonight, that it means betting on the team is a virtual lock or say when there is big snowstorm

hitting the field at game time or during the game, it means it is a lock to play the under!!

In many instances, gamblers who use this type of thinking don't consider the fact that Vegas knows this information and in many

cases before they do and simply adjust the line accordingly!!

Imo another thing that should be considered in the key player out is that the opposing team is aware of this also.

For me depending on the team and game itself and the conditions surrounding it, in some cases it can and will give the other

team a false sense of security believing that they won't have to try as hard to win and along the same lines, it might even

take away some of the motivation to win with some players especially mercenary ones when they deem the other team to be weaker

without the star player's presence!!

I cite Jake Browning's performance last night as a great example of this!!

Along the same lines and just as importantly the team missing the key player in many cases will have extra incentive and motivation

to win knowing that they will have to step up for the player who is out and make up for his loss!!

Obviously this is all pure opinion and conjecture on my part, but the bottom line is that imo based on well over fifty years

of betting on sports, stuff like I just cited is not a key determinant of who wins or covers the point spread in a given game!!

It was just last Tuesday when I came with a 60 dimer on these same Orange at home -2 against LSU and the blew out the Tigers in the 2nd half winning 80-57.



Adrian Autry is now a perfect 4-0 in front of the home folks and tonight looks to go to 5-0 against a team that Syracuse hasn't lost to since 1968.



To put it bluntly, the Orange have beaten the Big Red 42 straight times.



Yes, Cornell returns 4 starters and has gotten off to a very nice 7-1 start but a closer look will show that start isn't as impressive as it may seem.



They have only beaten one team with a winning record (Vermont 5-3) and the combined record of their 8 opponents: 19-30.



Trust me, head coach Adrian Autry will have his teams full attention after they laid an egg over the weekend getting destroyed at Virginia 84-62.



Back home against this team I expect them to play well, exactly the way they played against LSU last Tuesday.



This game may be close for a while but at some point the Orange are going to pull away, just like they did against the Tigers.



Lay this small number as Syracuse gets it done at home.

Last week started the week winning Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, only to implode Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Sunday the 100 dimer on Green Bay got me back on track only to release the 60 dimer on the Jags ast night and that wasn't even close.
Their defense, much like the Cowboys defense last Thursday, got absolutely embarrassed on National TV. I mean, flat out embarrassed.
Now we give football a break and turn back to college hoops where I went 2-0 last week and lookikng to make it 3 in a row tonight.
It was last Tuesday I handed you Syracuse at home over LSU and they won by 23 and last Wednesday North Caroliina was up as many as 23 before winning by 8.
The ebbs and flow of this business are insane sometimes. Games you should win you lose in ways you can't explain to people and games you should lose win the same way.
