This is without question one of the most important weeks of the year!!!!!!
Forget about Logan Gilbert and his absolutely, god-awful performance last night against the Yankees.
He gave up a season-high in runs and hits and it was the first time in 23 starts on the season he failed to go at least 5 innings.
Gilbert said after the game, "I guess it was a matter of execution." WOW, really???
In this cold streak, I back hot pitchers who forget how to pitch and cold pitchers who pitch like they are Nolan Ryan in his prime.

From following Lang all of these years, one of many things that stands out for me is that he is either too early or too late with his picks.

A good example is last night with betting against the Yankees and on Seattle.

Where was Lang during the five-game losing streak???

I don't recall his betting against them in any of those games!!!

Then all of a sudden out of a clear blue sky because he finally decides that they are reeling, he decides that it is time to go against them.

You saw the sorry result.

It also works the other way with him when he decides to go with/not against the Red Sox against KC as poorly as the Sox have been

playing because some rookie pitcher had a good game previously.

He does this in all sports and is obviously why anyone who has played his games over the years is buried beyond

recognition.

The fact that he openly lies about and twists his records for me puts him in the same class as Stu Feiner, who not surprisingly

was/is one of mentors!!

Man, it felt good to see the Twins Joe Ryan get fu@%$$@king rocked.
After getting destroyed at San Diego 2 starts ago for 10 runs in 4 innings, he came back home in his last start and beat the Detroit Tigers. Whoopy fu@$%$%king do.
The Dodgers beat his ass for 6 runs and he has now given up 16 runs in his last 9 2/3 innings on the west coast. Nice job Joe.
Oh, and the Dodgers have now won 9 games in a row and all 9 have been by 2-runs or more.
Talk about a team on a roll.
This week for me has to be that kind of roll and after baseball tonight, it's back to preseason football where I opened the Hall Of Fame Game with a 60-dime winner on the Raiders.
Tonight I up the ante with a 40-dime baseball play, stronger than last night' 30 dimer on the Dodgers run line.
