well you are breaking your own rule. it says "political news of the day". but this site isn't political news its left wing propaganda. there is a big difference. here is a piece from your site.

A: We doubt it would move the needle one bit. Trump has done and said more than enough racist things that everyone knows where he stands. Those for whom racism is a deal breaker, the deal is already broken.

that just called trump a racist. thats not political news its outright militant left wing attacking. maybe find something from fair and balanced fox websites? i am here to help if i can.

Believe as you wish and you use your own criterion.

Again I only report in this case what was/is posted today from my source both in way of polling data and to let folks know as to what else was talked about in

the link-also I gave you suggestions as to what to do-if you don't want to do them, then fine.

I am going to post this link every day and folks can do whatever they want with them.

Also don't look for me to post too many other links and news moving forward for the simple reason that other posters in many cases are posting the same thing.

There is no need for duplication of efforts.

That said, while I am not going to put anyone on ignore, I am not going to respond much to responses what I post especially when it starts to go way ot

in my opinion.

Rather, I am going to look for and going to report posts which imo are not relevant to the thread at all and/or are spam, and accept

their decision.

The other reason and most important thing by FAR is the results of the Election; imo Biden is going to win comfortably, and that will not change

untlil/if/when the polling data shows it a lot closer than it is now.

Enjoy your day!

ps Look for me in the threads started by other folks-they are "kind of easy" to find. lol

thank you savage for the opportunity for me to respond to your daily links if i see that they are not fair and balanced. I appreciate that I can do whatever I want with them but I promise to critique them fairly.

One positively last thing to rush_man for now, and this is only a suggestion.

Imo you feel that some of the material is unfair and/or slanted to the Left and you really to make your views known so that they

can do something about it, you might want to consider emailing and/or calling the source to speak to them.

I mean lets be real here:

What I post, what you post as a reply, and for that matter what everyone else posts, is NOT going to change the results of the Election one iota

because the number of people who read and post in thosthis Forum and threads are MINISCULE in comparison to the entire voting population.

To be fair, even though you and I and everyone know this already, we still want to be heard and to express our views, and thats fine!

Lots of folks have a passion for stating what they believe here, and I think that that is great, although personally

the name calling and insults allowed in this Forum and thread ought to be outlawed.

That's it.

Its going to be another great and warm/sunny day where I live and I intend to make the most of it and not to think too much about politics.

Take care!

Approval of Trump's coronavirus response underwater, as he returns to campaign trail: POLL

KENDALL KARSON ABC NewsJune 21, 2020

A solid majority of Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus, even as he returned to the campaign trail with a rally Saturday night that marked his first major event since the pandemic began, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday finds.
His approval now stands at 41%, similar to the 39% approval rating he received the last time the question was asked in a poll two weeks ago. Trump's disapproval now stands at 58%, compared to 60% last time.

For more than two months, Trump's approval for his response to the outbreak has been underwater, with disapproval consistently hovering in a narrow band from 57% to 60% since the end of April.
Since ABC News/Ipsos began polling on the coronavirus in mid-March, Trump's approval has mostly held steady, except for one week in March, when it was above water, at 55%, and his disapproval landed at 43%. The new poll was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos' Knowledge Panel.

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling the response to the coronavirus (COVID-19)? (ABC News/Ipsos Poll)
Despite the low marks, the president moved forward with his first in-person rally since March, which he said he viewed as the relaunch of his reelection campaign that was ground to a halt by the deadly virus.
Throughout the rally inside the BOK Center, where social distancing guidelines were not followed, Trump frequently brought up the coronavirus, giving himself high praise for his administration's response to the crisis.
"COVID-19," Trump said, "that name gets further and further away from China as opposed to calling it the Chinese virus. And despite the fact that we -- I have done a phenomenal job with it. ... We saved hundreds of thousands of lives, and all we do is get hit on like we're terrible."
MORE: Trump refers to COVID as 'Chinese virus,' 'kung flu' at Tulsa rally
In the United States, confirmed cases of the virus top 2.2 million and the death toll stands at nearly 120,000.
Trump's decision to hold a massive rally in Oklahoma came as multiple health officials warn that a packed event in an indoor arena that seats up to 19,000 could supercharge the spread of the coronavirus in an area that's already seeing cases on the rise.
MORE: Divisions emerge on renaming military bases, reparations amid unrest: POLL
The daily number of coronavirus cases statewide have increased over the last week, while the number of tests conducted each day has declined slightly, according to the state's health department. The number of daily cases in the Tulsa area has also trended upward over the past two weeks, while the rate of testing has remained about the same, according to Tulsa County's health department.
On the same day of the rally, Tulsa County reported it's highest one-day increase in coronavirus cases so far, with 136 new positive cases.
The campaign required supporters to sign a waiver saying they assume all risks if they are exposed to COVID-19 at the event, an effort to prevent any lawsuits.
Around the perimeter of the event, health care workers in personal protective equipment were on hand to check the temperatures of the attendees with hand scanners and kiosk temperature scanners before they entered the arena. There were also stations filled with face masks and hand sanitizer for the attendees.
The new survey comes just days after Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, told ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl on the "Powerhouse Politics" podcast, that his advice for people who want to attend Trump's rallies is the same for anti-Trump protestors - any large group is "a danger" and "risky." For anyone who insists on attending, he said, they should wear a mask.
MORE: Indoors, yelling and packed crowds: Experts sound alarm ahead of Trump's Tulsa rally amid coronavirus
Fauci, who said he personally would not attend the rally, has long been the leading scientific voice on the nation's response to the coronavirus, and a key member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, which is charged with overseeing the administration's efforts to control and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
But in recent weeks, the task force has faded in prominence, and earlier this week, Fauci told NPR's 1A program that he last spoke to Trump "two weeks ago."

Less than five months until the November general election, Trump's approval for his management of the coronavirus, which is likely to be a mainstay issue of the election, continues to fall sharply along partisan lines.
Among Democrats, only 6% approve of the president's stewardship through the crisis, with an overwhelming 94% disapproving. Republicans, on the other hand, are a near mirror image, with 90% approving of the president's coronavirus response, and 10% disapproving.
MORE: Fauci tells ABC's 'Powerhouse Politics' that attending rallies, protests is 'risky'
Independents again trace the attitudes of the country, with 59% disapproving and 40% approving.
Trump is also struggling more with women than men on this issue, with 62% of female respondents disapproving of his handling of the pandemic, compared to 54% of men. Just over one-third of women approve of the president's leadership, compared to 46% of men.
Racial groups, too, show division. White Americans (50%) are nearly four times as likely as black Americans (13%) and twice as likely as Hispanics (25%) to approve of Trump's coronavirus response. Overwhelming majorities of black Americans (85%) and Hispanics (74%) disapprove of the president on this issue, with 49% of white Americans feeling the same.
This ABC News/Ipsos poll was conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs' KnowledgePanel® June 17-18, 2020, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 727 adults, with oversamples of black and Hispanic respondents. Results have a margin of sampling error of 4.1 points, including the design effect. See the poll's topline results and details on the methodology here.

Some of you may have noticed that the Today's Look at Trump is no longer here ad has been moved back to the Rubber Room.

Rather than continue over there, I have decided not to but rather begin more inclusive thread over here.

To explain, the purpose of this thread will be for everyone to post news and links which relate to the Presidential Election

and/or commentary about BOTH TRUMP AND BIDEN or something or someone related.

In addition, the purpose is for anyone to POLITELY discuss/debate any news which is presented by another poster as well as presenting

their own links either in response to what was posted or a link which is about some other matter.

I am requesting that there be no bashing, name calling or insults of either candidate based on what is posted in a link and absolutely no

BASHING, NAME CALLING OR INSULTS DIRECTED AT THE PERSON WHO POSTED THE NEWS/LINKS.

I have requested that moderators read the thread and enforce these rules.

In short, all I am asking for is some respect for what someone has to say whether you agree with him/her or not.[

Among other things there is a very interesting article here about how pilling data is derived.

I think that this is particularly important to read as there has been a bit of discussion over here questioning how accurate the polling is

and how much credibility we can put in it.

Also now that I have a much better understanding as to what is allowed and not allowed in the political section, I am pretty much just

going to post this link everyday like the mailman does when he drops the mail in your mailbox every day.

In other words, I am just posting what I think is important, and if any of you folks what to criticize anything in it, say you don't

agree, etc., go ahead and have at it.

I personally am not going to debate it, as I don't see it a my role here.

Also imo folks who question some of this stuff such as polling data would be better served to voice their complaints and contact

the source of the information rather than me,who regards himself as the "mailman."

That said, I will be reporting any posts which are way ot and/or which I regard as trying to derail this thread in any manner.

Have a great day everyone!

Per your article source:

Tulsa rally failure
may spark Trump campaign team shakeup

Poor attendance at his rally in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday night
has President Trump increasingly frustrated with his campaign
manager, Brad Parscale, and considering shaking up his reelection
team, according to sources familiar with the issue.

“The president has diminishing confidence in Brad,”
a former adviser said of Parscale, who served as the campaign’s
digital director in 2016
.“I’ve been in the room when Trump refers
to him as ‘the website guy.’ … And that’s not that long ago.
It’s a problem for Brad,” the former campaign adviser said.

As Biden’s position has improved in the polls,
multiple reports have appeared about tension
on Trump’s team
and of the president’s growing
frustration with Parscale, even before Tulsa.
This included a story published by CNN in late
April that claimed Trump “was shouting” at the
campaign manager about his poll numbers.

Trump knows he is losing, and he's prepared to tear the nation apart when it happens

Donald J. Trump may have some sanity problems, but even he has to recognize that the crowds are smaller, the polling data is worsening every day, and his re-election looks shakier with every passing week. There are a few standards that Presidents are expected to commit to in our country. One of those standards is the peaceful transition of power. Donald J. Trump, however,is not one of those presidents. Instead, President Trump is busy laying out a case, now, for unbridled civil unrest and ‘let’s end democracy’ acts should he fail to win in November. Why? Because Trump is already calling the 2020 election a fraud.

Democratic voters and unaffiliated voters are taking up absentee or vote by mail ballots in record numbers. Both parties have put effort into getting more of their voters to vote by mail siince the outbreak of COVID,
Trump’s statement, however, makes it clear:if he doesn’t win, the election is a fraud — and he will blame mail-in ballots.
This is a dangerous path to travel, especially in these times. It is not at all unlikely that Trump could win a state, let’s say Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or even Florida on election night, but lose it as mail-in ballots are counted. Trump is setting the groundwork for legal contests and fights as well as a refusal to concede a lost election. He is counting on the narrative being: the media will announce I won a state on election night with the in-person vote, and any challenge to that outcome is not legitimate.
The scary part of this is that a large number of Americans may see the election night number and be used to thinking of it as the final, unchangeable number. They will count on networks to tell them “who won” on election night.
Between now and election day, the Democratic faithful have several jobs in getting rid of the disaster in the West Wing. We need to make sure we turn out every Democratic voter possible. We have to work on behalf of the means by which to put sanity back in charge.
It also puts a challenge to us: that we have to make sure that voters understand that vote by mail may not be entirely calculated on election night. That counting all the votes is what we as a party stand for in an election. We don’t need early, fast calls. We need the right results. This is what Trump doesn’t want.
Trump wants a different kind of riot — a Brooks Brothers 2.0 Riot. He’s already planning and thinking about it. Talking about the idea of his defeat is unthinkable, and could only happen by fraud. This isn’t about a conspiracy or a plot. Itis about the deranged thoughts of one man, who, unfortunately, is US President. It is about what those deranged thoughts and conservative media willing to run with them can do to our nation.

[h=1]Angry Republican Donors Are Ready To Dump Trump[/h]Ever since his pathetic rally on Saturday, the Trump campaign has been inundated with phone calls from wealthy Republican donors and GOP lawmakers demanding to know whether Saturday's outcome is indicative of what they can expect in November. The wealthy elite have a lot on the line - they could lose a lot of money if their tax cuts are taken away, and they want to make sure that their candidate is able to pull out a victory. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening. Link - https://www.rawstory.com/2020/06/trum...
