Lishy-Imo if things continue to go the way they are now,
Trump may very be edged out in Texas, without which
state in his column, he will be doomed no matter what
and probably a total shellacking!

Would be a SHOCK if it happened but yeah, it's GAME OVER and would be
an alltime political landslide EPIC win for the DEMS if Texas turned blue.

Hell, the DEMS may still achieve that if they get Florida plus a few others.
Because as you have shown, there are indeed 8 states which "adolf" won
narrowly that are "battlegrounds" and all trending BIDEN!
And there isn't a single DEM state considered a "battleground"
The question is HOW MUCH will the RE-TARDS lose ?

Mind you the odds are still likely against TEXAS breaking,
and yet they are TIED again right now!

And we should note that the demographics have changed in states like
Arizona, Texas and FLorida.....more minorities than ever before, and
growing every year!
The uneducated dummies keep forgetting that.
They think that because trump won in a completely different scenario
4 years ago that means he will win again this time.
How ph*ckin stupid is that? Everything is different now!
That's like saying that because 15-5 DUKE lost in a double OT fluke upset
to very weakass 6-15 WAKE last time they played,
then DUKE is surely going to lose to them next year too!
WOW!!!! And on a "handicapping" forum no less!!!

UN-effing-BELIEVABLE how some dummies think!

:uzi:I have just placed 27 uneducated dopes on IGNORE !
Now I don't have to read their low IQ BS & vitriol,
but at the same time,
everytime THEY post a reply, it sends MY THREAD to the top of the read listings! LOL!!!

wager especially a large amount of money, which is questionable in itself. lol

Trump's cratering in Michigan after his Bible photo op came back to bite him in the butt

What's not to like?

The Lansing polling firm EPIC-MRA has released two Michigan polls in the last week. In the first survey, Democrat Joe Biden led Donald Trump by 12 points. Not exactly a data point the Trump campaign was interested in touting.
But frankly, that was nothing compared to the poll the firm released Monday, which showed Biden leading Trump by a whopping 16 points.

It's worth noting that those two polls are particularly bullish for Biden who, according to the Real Clear Politics average, leads Trump in Michigan by a still-sizable 8.6 points.
But what's most telling about the surveys, which were both in the field when Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr ordered the violent clearing of peaceful protesters in front of the White House, is the immediate dip in support for Trump.
Trump's disastrous Bible photo op took place on June 1. EPIC-MRA conducted the first poll of 600 likely voters from May 30 to June 3 and the second poll from May 31 to June 4. EPIC-MRA pollster Bernie Porn saw an immediate correlation between Trump's Bible debacle and his 4-point drop against Biden.
“That is, by the process of elimination, the only reason that you go from a 12-point lead to a 16-point lead,” Porn told MLive.com. “(Trump) went from 38% of people saying they would definitely vote to re-elect him to only 33% saying that they would definitely vote to re-elect him.”
Trump's approvals also suffered from the first poll to the next, with those holding a negative view of Trump rising 5 points from 56% to 61%, while the percentage of those with a positive view of Trump fell four points from 42% to 38%. The percentage of people saying the country was headed in the wrong direction also jumped from 63% in the first poll to 70% in the second poll.
Trump's drop in support was also evident in West Michigan, which leans more conservative and religious. According to the first poll, respondents in the region overwhelmingly favored Trump 57% to 41%, but in the second poll West Michigan respondents only favored Trump 48% to 46%. Part of that difference could also be a product of the fact that Trump supporters weren't super excited to talk to pollsters immediately after his pathetic display of authoritarian malice and faux spirituality. But national polling has also suggested that Trump using the Bible as a prop backfired with religious voters.
Any way you slice it, Trump just keeps heading in a dismal direction in Michigan, a state he eked out by less than half a percentage point in 2016. EPIC-MRA has conducted three polls since the beginning of the year showing Trump steadily cratering, from trailing Biden by four points in January, 50% - 44%, to trailing Biden by 12 points, 53% - 41%, and then shortly thereafter, lagging behind Biden by 16 points, 55% - 39%.
As always this far out, the trend line is what matters most here, and Trump appears to be in a death spiral in a battleground state that has some questioning whether it's really a battleground at all anymore.

To be fair, even though I agree with the data being posted, in the spirit and intent of the thread any of you who dispute any of the news and

data presented here, have the right to present your own news and links.

The only thing I don't want here an as stated in post 1 is for this to turn into name calling and personal insults between posters.

You certainly do have the right in commentary to say anything about Trump and Biden although as stated before, I want this thread

to remain as the title of the thread states, "The Political News of the Day" only without bickering between posters who disagree with

one another-kindly save that for other threads.

I would only make 1 comment which falls in line with the thread rules. The title should be "The Lefties Political News of the Day". Its no secret what side you fall on and news outlets are mostly presenting so called news from the leftist point of view. For example your polls for November are all biased to the left just like it was 4 years ago. Where did your polls end up then? Completely false. So people are to believe in the same polls now?

The psychic as stated is well within his rights to post links and news in the spirit of the thread.

He can attach whatever he wants, but again I do not want this to become like some of the other threads.

To be fair to keep the peace, I want that Lishy and DaFinch also abide by the rules and delete at least in this section anything which can be construed

as directly or indirectly insults directed at other posters with whom you disagree.

You wore out your welcome at 2 other sites and the mods realized no one member is worth listening to the crying and bitching day after day after day. It will wear on them eventually. And it isn’t just me. There will be a next guy you cry about and then a next guy and a next guy

The pattern and crying never changes with you and it never will. Vitterd 2.0 and coincidentally he is banned at the last 2 forums you were banned at too

As I have stated before, you are free to post your own polling date, etc. if you disagree with what has been posted.

I don't disagree with polling data i disagree with polling outright. You didn't comment on how the polls were utterly meaningless 4 years ago. what makes it that they are legit now?

You have a leftist bias and i think you should post that disclaimer at times.

I am warning you one last time, buddy-stop lying about me. and take your ot stuff and insults elsewhere in this thread or Rubber Room.

I am rightfully requesting as stated that EVERYONE comply with the very reasonable rules set here.

If it continues with you and or anyone else no matter what their political views are, they will also be reported I assure you.

All I will do is direct BAS to the posts so far today and more if need be, to let him determine what is fair and to be permitted in this

thread and what is not-it is that simple!

So my posts contain zero name calling or personal insults. I am calling out polling and my observation that you lean to the left. Are you going to respond to those 2 observations? You certainly don't have to do such but I am following the exact rules you stated. If you want to change those rules state your changes.

You might want to familiarize yourself with the meaning of the polling phrase, "within the margin of error," that polls almost always predict the popular vote, not the electoral vote, and that you're claiming something that had averaged happening once every 60 years or so rendered all subsequent polls "meaningless," a dubious claim, to put it mildly.

actually you are wrong. the same polls had al gore with a safe win 2000. same event took place 2016. thats not once every 60 years. you guys who lean left yet pass yourselves off as unbiased observers are always going to be exposed.

First of all as I have stated before, imo 2016 and 2020 polling data and the results cannot be compared because of the Virus, loss of jobs, economy, stock market,

protest, riots and so much more-there was not anything remotely close to these in importance in 2016.

My polling and just about legitimate polling data shows that Trump is losing pretty badly.

If you choose not to believe them, then fine, and as I suggested, post your own polling sources.

Also if you back a number of posts, you will see at least one link that shows Trump doing better than most places.

Yes I am not voting for Trump nor Biden, but that has nothing to so with presenting the news of the day with links.

Oh my god. Will you please leave facts out of this. It does not fit their agenda.
