Mosab Hassan Yousef, the bestselling author of “Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices,” appeared on The Glenn Beck Program Monday to discuss how he rejected radical Islam and converted to Christianity.
“I was brought up in a state of delusion, believing the Islamic theory that once we control the globe and build an Islamic State we can bring humanity, justice and happiness and solve the human condition,” Yousef said. “Islam is a very dark theory and we need to face this reality.”
The son of one of the founding members of Hamas, Yousef worked as a spy for the Israeli intelligence service after beginning to question the ideology he had been raised with. On Monday, he reiterated his belief that “Islam is the religion of war.”
“Islam is at war with everything that is not Muslim,” he said. “Islam has been in a war against the west and its foundations for the last 1,400 years. This is a fact. The Islamic phenomena that we see in ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Taliban — this is not just a new phenomenon. It has been out there for the last 1,400 years. And I think this is the time for humanity to have the courage to say no to the Islamic theory.”

Yousef’s family publicly disowned him after he wrote “Son of Hamas,” and he said he lost “everything.” And while he believes everyone is capable of seeing the cruelty of Hamas and radical Islam, he also said “it’s easier for them to listen to the leader who is blaming all the social problems and many other problems on Israel and the United States of America.”
“I was brought up believing in the conspiracy theory that the United States of America and the west, including Israel, is plotting day and night to destroy Islam and the Muslim world, which is a lie,” he said. “And this is how terrorist organizations kept pushing the average person to fight on their behalf against the United States of America and against Israel.”
Though Yousef said he believes both George Bush and Barack Obama have good intentions in the Middle East, he also said Obama’s insistence that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam “really matters.”
“When the president of the free world misleads the public, this is a big, big problem I believe,” he said. “ISIS is the real face of Islam. ISIS is the real manifestation of the Islamic ideology, of the Islamic theory.”
And unlike some who believe Islam can undergo a reformation like Christianity, Yousef believes “Islam cannot be reformed” because at its core, it is based in tribal conflict and “the mentality of the 7th century.”
“I think today, Middle Easterners see the enemy is within,” Yousef said. “They see ISIS. They see their brutality. Even the Palestinians in Gaza, they see the brutality of Hamas and their absolute control over their lives. And [for] the first time, they come to realize that this is the Islamic theory in action. This is the Islamic theory manifestation.”

NAIROBI, Kenya — Al-Shabab gunmen attacked a college in northeast Kenya early Thursday, targeting Christians and killing at least 15 people and wounding 60 others, witnesses said. The president said it is now a hostage situation.
Kenyan police have offered a $220,000 bounty for Mohammed Mohamud, also known as Dulyadin alias Gamadhere, whom they believe is the mastermind of the attack.
...

When the gunmen arrived at his dormitory he could hear them opening doors and asking if the people who had hidden inside whether they were Muslims or Christians.
‘‘If you were a Christian you were shot on the spot,’’ he said. ‘‘With each blast of the gun I thought I was going to die.’’

[h=1]Muslims to outnumber Christians worldwide by 2070: Islam will be only major religion to increase faster than world’s population[/h]
  • Muslims will increase at more than double the rate of world's population
  • Largest proportion of Muslims likely to be in India, data showed
  • Research was completed by the Pew Research Center in America

There will be more Muslims than Christians in the world in less than sixty years, new research revealed.
The religion's share of the world’s population will equal the Christian share - at roughly 32 per cent each - in 2070, analysis by the Pew Research Center showed.
The number of Muslims will increase at more than double the rate of the world's population, which is expected to rise by 35 per cent in the next four decades.

There will be more Muslims than Christians in the world in less than sixty years, the Pew Research Center has claimed. Above, Kashmiri Muslims pray outside a mosque in Srinagar

By 2100 around one per cent more of the world’s population will be Muslim than Christian, with the largest proportion of followers in India.
Several countries are also projected to have a different religious majority by 2050.
The number of countries with a Christian majority is expected to decline from 159 to 151, the report claimed.

Less than 50 per cent of the population will be Christian in the United Kingdom, Australia, Benin, Bosnia-Herzegovina, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the Republic of Macedonia.
By 2050 Muslims will make up around ten per cent of Europe's population.
It is thought the religion will thrive due to its young population and high fertility rates, with an average of 3.1 children per woman.

The rate is well above the 2.1 replacement level - the minimum typically needed to maintain a stable population - and the fertility rate of Christians, which is around 2.7 children per woman.
The Pew Research Center's report said: 'Religions with many adherents in developing countries – where birth rates are high and infant mortality rates generally have been falling – are likely to grow quickly.
'Much of the worldwide growth of Islam and Christianity, for example, is expected to take place in sub-Saharan Africa.'
The data also revealed that the number of atheists and agnostics will decline from 16 per cent of the world's population to 13 per cent in the next four decades.
Buddhism will also decline, with its followers decreasing by 0.3 per cent.

Up to 150 people have been murdered by masked al-Shabaab terrorists who stormed a Kenyan university and shot and beheaded Christians in the worst attack in the country in 17 years.
The group raided the Garissa University College campus shortly after 5am local time yesterday, overwhelming guards and murdering people they suspected of being a Christian.
The death toll rose to 147 last night and the 13-hour siege ended. A total of 79 were injured and 587 were led to safety.
Most of those killed were students but two police officers, one soldier and two watchmen are among the dead.

Kenya's interior minister, Joseph Nkaissery said the four terrorist gunmen had strapped themselves with explosives. When officers shot at them, they exploded 'like bombs' and shrapnel injured officers.
Kenyan security officials at the scene said dozens of hostages were freed and four of the gunmen, believed to be armed with AK-47s, were killed.

Last night, Kenya's National Disaster Operations Center said all students were accounted for.
The attack is believed to be the worst terrorist attack on Kenyan soil since the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in 1998 which killed more than 200 people.
The terrorists stuck mid-way through Holy Week, the most solemn period in the Christian calendar. Last night, the Christian students were planning to celebrate the Last Supper in preparation for Good Friday.
Pictures on social media of one of the dorms showed bloodstained floors, bodies of male students and splintered wooden chairs.

Kenyan security officials said one of the terrorists was arrested after he tried to escape the compound.
They have also offered a £145,000 bounty for Mohammed Mohamud, known as Dulyadin, alias Gamadhere, who they suspect of masterminding the attack.
Kenyan intelligence officials believe that Mohamud is in charge of al-Shabaab's external operations against the country.
He is believed to have spent time teaching in a hard-line madrassa before becoming a senior member of the Somali terror organisation.
He claimed responsiblity for an earlier attack in Makka, Kenya on November 22, 2014, when 28 people were murdered.
Kenyan police chief Joseph Boinet announced that a curfew had been introduced from dusk to dawn - 6.30pm to 6.30am - for four regions near the Somalia border as a security precaution.
Student Omar Ibrahim told News24 Kenya: 'I was in a group that was saved by the KDF (Kenya Defence Forces) just after 1pm.
'We saw many many bodies, some did not have heads. I don't know why someone would do such a thing.'
Eye-witness Collins Wetangula, the vice chairman of the student union, said he was preparing to take a shower when he heard gunshots coming from Tana dorm, which is home to both men and women, 150 yards away.
The campus has six dormitories and at least 887 students, he said.

[h=3]£145,000 REWARD OFFERED FOR AL-SHABAAB'S TERROR MASTERMIND[/h]Mohamed Kuno Dulyadeen Mohamud, alias 'Gamadheere' or 'long arm', is suspected of planning yesterday's massacre.
He was a religious teacher in Garissa during the 1990s in a hard-line madrassa, delivering pro-jihadi sermons.
His organisation has lost several men following some successes by Kenyan security forces, including the loss of his associate Sheikh Mohamed Ali Kheir.

A £145,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the capture of Mohamed Mohamud, who is believed to have masterminded the attack

A security source claimed: 'He has become extremely offended by the latest counter-terrorism activities in Garissa and seeks to avenge these deaths.'
He is a fluent Arabic speaker and fled to Somalia in 2006. He regularly appeared on television attacking the Kenyan government and western authorities over their treatment of Muslims.
In December 2012, the Kenyan National Security Intelligence service produced a report claiming that Mohamud was planning a series of terrorist attacks against the country.
Now the Kenyan Government has offered a £145,000 reward for information leading to his capture.

He said that when he heard the gunshots he locked himself and three roommates in their room.
'All I could hear were footsteps and gunshots, nobody was screaming because they thought this would lead the gunmen to know where they are.
'The gunmen were saying sisi ni al-Shabaab (Swaihi for we are al-Shabaab).'
Mr Wetangula said he could hear the gunmen interrogating fellow students hiding inside their rooms about their religion.
He said: 'If you were a Christian you were shot on the spot. With each blast of the gun I thought I was going to die.'
The gunmen started to shoot rapidly and it was as if there was an exchange of fire, he said.
'The next thing, we saw people in military uniform through the window of the back of our rooms who identified themselves as the Kenyan military.'

[h=3]RESIDENTS AND THE RED CROSS RESPOND TO BLOOD STOCKS SHORTFALL[/h]Residents eager to help in the wake of the terrorist attack at Garissa University College donated blood yesterday.
The Kenya Red Cross response team discovered there was a shortfall in 'safe blood' available for transfusion and set up a donation clinic at Garissa Blood Transfusion Satellite Center. Only 120 units were available, while it was estimated 250 units would be needed.
The Red Cross also airlifted surgeons, anesthetists and surgical supplies to help the resident surgeon at Garissa County Hospital.

The soldiers took him and approximately 20 others to safety. As they were running, al-Shabaab snipers on top of a three-storey building attempted to gun them down.
He added: 'We started running and bullets were whizzing past our heads and the soldiers told us to dive.'
Fellow student, Augustine Alanga, 21, described a panicked scene as gunshots rang out outside their dormitory.
He said he saw at least five heavily-armed terrorists wearing masks.
He said: 'I am just now recovering from the pain as I injured myself while trying to escape. I was running barefoot.'
He told journalists he crossed barbed-wire fencing to escape the massacre.
Mr Alanga said any students attending morning prayers at the university's mosque at 5.30am were not attacked.

Masked gunmen stormed the Garissa University College campus, in Kenya's north-east, yesterday

Earlier in the day, one policeman said: 'I have counted 14 bodies of dead people being carried out of the campus by a Red Cross ambulance, and they include two of our officers who were also killed.
'We are finding it difficult to access the compound because some of the attackers are on top of a building and are firing at us whenever we try to gain entry.'
A spokesman for al-Shabaab said it was claiming responsibility for the latest atrocity.
Yesterday, Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al-Shabaab's 'military operations spokesman', said: 'We sorted people out and released the Muslims.
'There are many dead bodies of Christians inside the building. We are also holding many Christians alive. Fighting still goes on inside the college.'
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said he was going to fast-track the recruitment of 10,000 new police officers to tackle the al-Shabaab menace.
He said Kenya had 'suffered unnecessarily due to shortage of security personnel'.

Escape: Students pictured fleeing from the university. The death toll rose to 147 as the siege ended last night

ust last week, the Chief Security Officer at the University of Nairobi feared an attack was imminent and issued a security warning - but it is unclear whether the same information was relayed to Garissa officials.
Grace Kai, a student at the Garissa Teachers Training College near the university, said there had been warnings that an attack in the town could be imminent.
'Some strangers had been spotted in Garissa town and were suspected to be terrorists,' she said.
'Then on Monday our college principal told us... that strangers had been spotted in our college.
'On Tuesday we were released to go home, and our college closed, but the campus remained in session, and now they have been attacked.'
Josh Earnest, White House press secretary, said the U.S. is providing assistance to the Kenyan government and will continue to partner with them as well as other countries in East Africa to defeat the terrorist group.
He said the U.S. stands with the people of Kenya 'who will not be intimidated by such cowardly attacks'.

[h=1]EXCLUSIVE: Syrian girl who broke millions of hearts in 'surrender' picture fled to 'safe' city – only for it to be taken by brutal Al Qaeda fanatics days later[/h]
  • Hudea and her family are thought to have gone to Idlib two weeks ago
  • But Idlib fell to Al Qaeda's Syrian affiliate at weekend after four day battle
  • Al Nusra's leader has now promised to bring in sharia law in the city
  • Already started burning banned items and two Christians killed by jihadists
By FLORA DRURY FOR MAILONLINE
PUBLISHED: 17:05, 2 April 2015 | UPDATED: 00:08, 3 April 2015
The little girl who broke millions of hearts after surrendering to a camera she mistook for a gun is now in the clutches of Al Qaeda, the MailOnline can exclusively reveal.
Four-year-old Hudea was pictured late last year by photographer Osman Sagirli in Atmeh refugee camp, just 10km from the border with Turkey.
She, her mother and three siblings are understood to have been living in the Syrian camp since Hudea's father was killed in the 2012 Hama massacre.
But two weeks ago, the family took a fateful decision to move south, towards the city of Idlib - only for it to fall into the hands of Al Qaeda's brutal Syrian affiliate at the weekend.
It means, once more, the family are in danger of becoming victims of a battle between the regime and rebels which has killed 220,000 since 2011 - 10,000 of whom were children.

Sharia law: Al-Nusra have promised to bring in Sharia law in the city, and have already started burning things considered banned under Islam - like these cigarettes

The Nusra Front-led rebels is set impose Sharia law on the city, which is only the second state capital to fall from the grip of President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
'We salute the people of Idlib and their stand with their sons, the Mujahideen, ... and God willing they will enjoy the justice of sharia, which will preserve their religion and their blood,' said Abu Mohamad al-Golani, Nusra Front's leader, in a recording released on Wednesday.
This is horrifying news for those living under the Nusra Front. The group group has a reputation for violence which is only rivaled by the horrors seen in ISIS-controlled territory.
Charlie Winter, of the Qilliam Foundation, warned: 'Jabhat al-Nusra is an outspoken al-Qaeda affiliate. It espouses a severe interpretation of Islam and sharia law.
'They have been known to execute women who are allegedly running brothels, and stone adulterers. It is a violent interpretation of sharia law.'

Indeed, the group appears to be all but following in the footsteps of ISIS, who have terrified the world with an onslaught of violence, including throwing people from the tops of buildings and getting small children to shoot so-called spies dead.
Worringly, the Nusra Front - who reiterated their allegiance to Al Qaeda in the last month - have said they want to create their own 'Islamic state'.
The group is known for its use of suicide bombers as it tries to achieve its goal, and has claimed responsibility for mass executions, murdered journalists and even priests in the past few years.
In the days since they took control of Idlib, there have been reports of two Christian men being executed, while the Vatican - citing local news sources - claimed a Greek Orthodox priest had been kidnapped by jihadists.

Trauma: Save the Children reports many of the children were traumatised by what they had seen

For a child like Hudea, who has clearly already been left horribly traumatised by a war which has been raging her entire life, life under the strict sharia law is likely to be nothing be more terrifying.
But life is no better under the Syrian regime: indeed, it is al-Assad's fighters who were said to be behind the Hama massacre in which she lost her father.
Pro-government militia killed at least 55 people that day, going from house to house, murdering men, women and children.
It was after this the family fled north, to the camp near the border with Turkey, which has grown to become a home to 30,000 refugees.
But despite being so close to the safety of Turkey, the family appear to have never made it across.
Instead, for reasons unknown to MailOnline's source within the camp, they decided to leave the camp - venturing out into territory which has changed hands between the different rebel factions and the al-Assad regime numerous times over the last four years.
The MailOnline's source within the camp said: 'The child does not exist now in the camp. They fled to a village in Idlib about two weeks ago.'
Wherever they have gone, it means the family are trapped once more between three violent sides - none of which are prepared to stop until they have wiped the other off the face of the earth.

Relative safety: Many of the 15,000 are headed to refugee camps like Atmeh, near the Turkish border - but it is not known where Hudea and her small family are

Civil war: Fighting has been going on Hudea's entire life, killing 10,000 children since 2011. Pictured: Atmeh, her home after he father was killed in 2012

And living in an area recently won by one side, does not guarantee survival - or peace.
A source in the Syrian military force told EA World View: 'We have an obligation to liberate the city... I swear to god the highest we are not scared.'
Joshua Landis, director of the Center for Middle East Studies at University of Oklahoma, was also certain Damascus would not give up without a fight.
He told Bloomberg: 'Assad will likely bomb Idlib so that its captors find little peace in their new prize.'
Mr Winter thinks it is unlikely they will have gone to areas controlled by the Syrian government. One suspects the memory of what they did to her husband will mean Hudea's mother will keep her family away from al-Assad's forces.
But villages not in the control of the regime have come under attack since Nusra Front's assault on Idlib - which itself sent 15,000 people fleeing for their lives.
Ironically, many are making their way to the refugee camps in the north - like Atmeh, the safe haven Hudea has just left.
And now there are reports of the regime using chlorine-filled bombs against the towns surrounding Idlib - a new horror for the little girl and her family to contend with.
One can only imagine how Hudea, caught in the crossfire in a fight she is too young to understand and so scared already she surrenders to cameras, will respond to any of this.

The leader of a family of nine caught trying to get into lawless Syria was revealed last night to be the son of a respected Labour councillor.
Waheed Ahmed, 21, was arrested with eight relatives – including four children – in a remote Turkish border town.
The politics undergraduate is the son of a local politician photographed with Labour leader Ed Miliband just weeks ago.

The nine Britons, who include three men, two women and four children aged between one and 11, were seized in Hatay province, in southern Turkey.
It shares a border with part of Syria controlled by rebel factions including those linked to Al Qaeda and IS.

In a statement, he said that he believed his son, a student at Manchester University, had been on work placement in Birmingham

All those held are from Rochdale and are the biggest family group caught attempting to enter the unstable territory.
Counter terrorism officers at Greater Manchester Police began an investigation into their movements.
A senior officer questioned why anyone would take anyone so young ‘and vulnerable’ into a warzone. The extended family group were detained at a checkpoint in Ogulpinar on Tuesday.
The three men and two women, aged between 21 and 47, were taken to a hospital with their children, aged one, three, eight and 11.
Officials said they will be photographed and fingerprinted before being deported back to the UK.
Photographs showed Waheed Ahmed, dressed in traditional robes and wearing heavy boots, leading the group from a minibus into a police station.

Detained: Footage released earlier shows the family arriving at a police station in Turkey's southern Hatay province, where they are understood to have been kept overnight

Several women, all wearing headscarfs which covered their faces, could be seen carrying children. Most of the party were wearing walking boots, perfect for trekking across the rugged region.
Last night, family members were holding a crisis meeting at the family’s £150,000 semi-detached home in Rochdale.
Shakil Ahmed, a bakery delivery driver, is a councillor in Kingsway and served alongside Karen Danczuk, wife of Rochdale MP Simon Daczuk, until her resignation in January.
Speaking as he delivered election campaign leaflets yesterday, he said he recognised his son in online newspaper reports of his arrest.

Smirking: The nine British citizens, including 4 children, were detained in Turkey's southern Hatay and Gaziantep provinces yesterday as authorities foiled their alleged attempts to enter Syria illegally

Councillor Ahmed said the others arrested included Waheed’s aunt, Zadia Bi, 50, and two of her sons and one of their wives. He said: ‘I don’t know why they have been arrested. We have no information. Until they ring we will not know what has happened.’
He said that he had seen his son’s photograph and when asked about one picture of his son laughing, he replied: ‘Well, they went on holiday so they shouldn’t be crying on holiday should they?’
He added: ‘I don’t believe my son was on his way to join Islamic State. I was shocked, worried and extremely upset to hear that my son has been arrested.
‘It’s a total mystery to me why he’s there, as I was under the impression he was on a work placement in Birmingham.
‘My son is a good Muslim and his loyalties belong to Britain. If I thought for a second that he was in danger of being radicalised, I would have reported him to the authorities.’ The councillor added: ‘He’s studying a degree in politics and sociology at Manchester University and has a good future ahead of him. I just want to speak to my son and get him home as soon as possible.’
Waheed apparently called his devastated father at 2am to break the news he had been arrested.

A British woman holding a child is seen arriving at a hospital in Turkey to undergo a medical check up

Neighbours described the former pupil at Rochdale Sixth Form College who is now an undergraduate, as ‘very religious’.
He is particularly close to his brother, Moin, 22, who is still at home and was not among the group in Turkey, and the pair wore similar traditional Islamic clothing. Neighbours said he has not been seen ‘for some time’.
Former Conservative councillor, Mohammed Sharif, who lives two doors down from the family, said: ‘I know the family quite well. They are really quite normal so this is very shocking. The boys are both quite religious and have beards but their father is just normal and their mother is also very nice.’
Mr Sharif said that Waheed prayed five times a day at the Gungol Sharif mosque, in Derby Street, Rochdale. He said: ‘He always seemed quite polite. I can’t believe this has happened.’
Mr Sharif added: ‘This is a very shocking development in our community. It seems that the internet has a big part to play in what is happening to these children.
‘We need to warn parents about the dangers of this radicalisation.’ Waheed was last spotted in the area three weeks ago.

The Foreign Office said it has been communicating with Turkish officials over the detention of the nine people

His grey Toyota Auris remained outside his house.
Another neighbour, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: ‘He was very religious and always walked around in traditional dress. He didn’t really mix with anyone and was very quiet.’
His older brother Moin follows many Islamic extremist preachers on his Facebook page, including Dr Bilal Philips, who has condoned suicide bombers in the past and is banned from the UK for holding extremist views.
Police now face the task of investigating exactly what the fugitives’ motives were and whether they have committed terrorist offences.
Turkey is a key staging ground for foreign fighters and others hoping to reach Islamic State-held areas of Syria and Iraq.

Earlier this week Yahya Rashid, 19, was charged with preparing acts of terrorism after flying into Luton Airport from Istanbul.
He is suspected of acting as an Islamic State smuggler, paying for four men and a woman to join the terrorist group.
Assistant Chief Constable Ian Wiggett, of Greater Manchester Police, said: ‘Officers have commenced an investigation to establish their reason for travel and apparent attempted entry into Syria. At this time officers have uncovered no evidence whatsoever of any imminent threat to the communities of Rochdale or indeed the UK.
‘What is obviously concerning is why a family were seemingly attempting to take very young and vulnerable children into a warzone, such a volatile and dangerous environment is no place for them whatsoever,’ he added.
It is understood that social workers in Rochdale are already preparing to interview parents on their return.
Imam Irfan Chishti, of the Rochdale Council of Mosques, said: ‘We are shocked to hear this has happened in our town.
‘Rochdale has had its fair share of negative publicity of late, given the grooming issue, and this is the last thing we need.’
Mohammed Shafiq, of the Ramadhan Foundation, said: ‘The news that nine people from Rochdale including children have been arrested in Turkey trying to get into Syria is deeply worrying.
‘The idea you can take young children into a warzone is despicable and we condemn those adults who have done this.’
The Ahmed family are originally from Kashmir but settled in Rochdale in the 1980s and have lived in their current home since 2006.
Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk tweeted last night: ‘I’ve been in touch with the father of one of young men who was there & he’s shocked & confused as to why his son was trying to enter Syria.
‘At this stage I don’t want to say too much until I receive more information from the police on whether a criminal offence has been committed.
‘Rochdale stands united against any terrorist activity and we are constantly vigilant about any signs of radicalisation.’

[h=3]2,000 FIGHTERS FROM THE UK? SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS ADMIT THEY GROSSLY 'UNDER-ESTIMATED' THE NUMBER OF BRITONS THAT JOINED ISIS[/h]The number of Britons who have fled the UK to join Islamic State is as many as 2,000, security chiefs fear.
Senior police officers had previously said there were 600 would-be jihadis but now privately admit that is a ‘gross under-estimate’. The previous figure only included those documented to have travelled to Syria despite evidence that many are ‘flying under the radar’.
The Daily Mail has learned that, in the last two months alone, Turkish officials have been alerted to 30 people reported missing by their families and mosque leaders. They are struggling to tackle a constant flow of foreign fighters who use the country as a key staging post for reaching Syria and northern Iraq.
Among militant British Islamists known to have travelled to strongholds controlled by Islamic State are:

  • Mohammed Emwazi – The notorious terrorist, known as Jihadi John, is a British national. The mass killer grew up in London and studied computer programming at the University of Westminster.
  • Aqsa Mahmood – The privately educated Glaswegian is one of the original ‘Jihadi Brides’ and is believed to be responsible for luring others to Syria.
  • Bethnal Green teenagers – Four schoolgirls aged 15 and 16 fled their East London homes to join Islamic State. The first left the country last December and was followed by three others, triggering a national scandal, in February.
  • Mother of two – Former bank clerk Rehana Begum Islam left her husband of 14 years, vanishing from her home in Enfield, North London, with her eight-year-old son and daughter, three.
  • Portsmouth gang – Five men went to Syria after pretending to go on holiday to Turkey. Four have since been killed.

[h=3]UN SAYS '25,000 FOREIGN FIGHTERS' HAVE NOW JOINED AL QAEDA AND ISIS MILITANTS IN SYRIA AND IRAQ[/h]The number of fighters leaving home to join al-Qaida and the Islamic State group in Iraq, Syria and other countries has spiked to more than 25,000 from over 100 nations, according to a new U.N. report.
The panel of experts monitoring U.N. sanctions against al-Qaida said in the report obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press that its analysis indicates the number of foreign terrorist fighters worldwide increased by 71 percent between mid-2014 and March 2015.
It said the scale of the problem has increased over the past three years and the flow of foreign fighters 'is higher than it has ever been historically.'
The overall number of foreign terrorist fighters has 'risen sharply from a few thousand ... a decade ago to more than 25,000 today,' the panel said in the report to the U.N. Security Council.
The report said just two countries have accounted for over 20,000 foreign fighters: Syria and Iraq. They went to fight primarily for the Islamic State group but also the Al-Nusra Front.
Looking ahead, the panel said the thousands of foreign fighters who traveled to Syria and Iraq are living and working in 'a veritable `international finishing school' for extremists,' as was the case in Afghanistan in the 1990s.

Muslim men and their cultural problem with women: Sajid Javid says that some view females as commodities to be abused

  • He said some values in certain communities were 'totally unacceptable'
  • Comments come after sexual abuse by Asian men revealed in parts of UK
  • Javid said political correctness should not be a barrier to stopping abuse

Muslim communities in parts of Britain have a 'cultural problem' where they view women as commodities to be abused, according to the Culture Secretary.
Sajid Javid declared some values prevalent in certain Asian communities were 'totally unacceptable in British society'.
His comments come after inquiries into the sexual abuse of vulnerable girls targeted by Asian men in Rochdale, Rotherham and Oxford found that the authorities had failed to protect them.

Sajid Javid declared some values prevalent in certain Asian communities were 'totally unacceptable in British society'

Mr Javid told the Daily Telegraph a 'misplaced sense of political correctness' prevented police and social workers from properly investigating claims of abuse.

Mr Javid said: 'Well, first of all the perpetrators were disproportionately Asian Muslim men, and I absolutely think there has been a misplaced sense of political correctness that prevented authorities, whether social workers or police, from properly investigating what was going on.
'If we are to learn proper lessons from this, we have to look at the cultural side of some communities in Britain and see why it is that in some communities there are men that have a view of women that is completely unacceptable in modern British society. Why do they have such a low value of women that they see them as commodities to be abused?'
The Tory minister said the authorities had to 'get to the bottom of this' and emphasised that 'we have to look at the cultural aspects of it'.

The Tory minister's comments come after inquiries into the sexual abuse of vulnerable girls targeted by Asian men in Rochdale, Rotherham and Oxford found that the authorities had failed to protect them

He urged Asian communities to look into 'what might be going on that we don't know about'. Mr Javid said: 'We can no longer be held back in any sense by political correctness.
'I know plenty of people, British Muslims, men and women, who would 100 per cent agree with that, not only out of a sense of shame but also because of the fear of what else might be going on. Some of the values that certain people in some communities have, in their attitudes to women or on the question of freedom of expression, are just totally unacceptable in British society.
'We do no one any favours when we don't investigate or talk about them.'
Mr Javid revealed in a speech to the Union of Jewish Students in 2014 that he had experienced racism at school. He said he was called a 'Paki' by a classmate. He said: 'I did what any cool, calm future Cabinet minister would do. I hit him. And then he hit me, and I hit him back and things sort of went downhill from there.'
Mr Javid, whose background is remarkably different to many of his colleagues, has been tipped as a future Tory leader.
His parents came to Britain from Pakistan in 1961. His father, Abdul-Ghani, worked in a cotton mill before getting a job as a bus conductor.

Muslim group with links to extremists boasts of influencing election

A group suspected of being a front for Islamic extremists claims it can control as many as 30 seats in the general election and boasts of acting a "kingmaker"

A key speaker on Mend’s election tour, which began yesterday, is Abu Eesa Niamatullah, another extremist who opposes democracyand stated that “the Creator is the one who should decide what the laws should be.”

The group also promotes Haitham al-Haddad, a hate preacher who describes democracy as “filthy” and says that “all the kuffar [an insulting term for non-Muslims] will go to hellfire.” Haddad adds, however, that Muslims are “allowed to vote for a kafir [infidel] system in order to avoid a bigger kafir system taking power.”

The Muslim vote is worth ten ordinary votes because… we are heavily concentrated in a few areas,” he said. “Anybody who can give any one party 10, 20, 30 seats, like we can, they have to listen to you.

[ Nice friendly Muslims raping little girls... and by little I mean 8, 9 years old ]

[h=1]What Islamic militants did to this 9-yr-old girl solidifies my hate for them[/h] Written by Allen West on April 13, 2015
isis-300x180.jpg

You know all the countless TV advertisements for animal abuse featuring Hollywood stars bemoaning their plight? Many times the personalities are female – I wonder how they feel about late-term abortion? That would be a topic for another day, but here’s something else I wonder if they ever consider.
As reported by the Toronto Star, “When they were torn from their families by Islamic State militants last summer, thousands of Yazidi girls and women were raped, tortured, forcibly married and enslaved. But after eight months in hell, some have struggled back to their surviving relatives in Iraqi Kurdistan: sick, broken, traumatized — and pregnant.”
“The youngest of these is 9, according to volunteers working in the refugee camps and abandoned buildings where they are sheltering. “This girl is so young she could die if she delivers a baby,” said Yousif Daoud, a Canadian-based aid worker who recently returned from the region. “Even a caesarian section is dangerous. The abuse she has suffered left her mentally and physically traumatized.”
“This week Islamic State released more than 200 Yazidi captives, including 40 children. The others were mostly elderly, and all bore signs of abuse and neglect, according to a report from Associated Press. Up to 500 kidnapped girls and women had already found their way back to their devastated homeland in Kurdistan, where about 40,000 Yazidis were attacked and besieged in August 2014, as the militants made a lightning assault on a minority they condemn as heretics. Hundreds were killed, and some 4,000 girls and women are still believed to be captive.”
Now, I’m quite sure the Islamapologists out there will praise ISIS for releasing the captured Yazidis. But I just have to ask, when will these Hollywood stars produce ads condemning ISIS? We certainly don’t need another hashtag campaign– that didn’t do so well against Boko Haram. And we know that Islamic terrorist group is committing similar savage actions against the captured Christian girls — including using them as suicide bombers.
So where are the “Free Tibet” or “Free Darfur” type bumper stickers from the liberal progressive elites? Where are the anti-ISIS demonstrations on our college campuses — oops, I forgot, too busy condemning Israel and chanting “Free, free Palestine.” How easy is it for the progressive left to pick the “low hanging fruit” issues that require little intellectual rigor — certainly minimal courage and character.
And what ISIS — which is Islamic — is doing is rooted in Islam. I can just bet that statement is going to endear yours truly to the Council for American Islamic Relations and the other Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated stealth jihadists openly operating in America. But they know I’m dead right.
If anyone reads the Koran and the Hadith’s “traditions of Mohammed” you will find evidence – verses — supporting this barbaric behavior. As for the horrible traumatic rape of the 9-year-old girl, that’s part of Islamic tradition.
Mohammed’s favorite wife was Aisha and she was only 6 years old when the maniacal, murderous, sociopathic warlord took her as a bride. She was 9 years of age when their “marriage” was consummated. In the traditions of Islam, Mohammed is viewed as the embodiment of the perfect man — as well as his practices. In other words, his medieval and despicable actions — which are deemed as pedophilia today – are embraced by those following the strict doctrines of Islam.
And let me remind you that Turkey’s President — and President Obama’s declared friend — Recip Tayyip Erdogan chided the West stating that there is no such thing as “moderate” Islam and sees no need for a reformation…in his words, there is only Islam.
So when will the day come that someone in the West will stop playing “patty-cake” with these two-legged animals stuck on stupid in the 7th century?
In the case of this poor 9-year-old Yazidi girl, I firmly support her right to choose because she has been horribly violated. She has been brutally and repeatedly raped, and her life, which I pray can be saved mentally, is at risk.
If there is anyone who should be brought to the United States for medical treatment and the opportunity to start a new and better life, this young girl is a sure candidate — as opposed to the thousands of Syrian Muslims who are being fast-tracked to America — just like we did with the Somalis. Look how great this has turned out in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Yes, I believe refugees from this scourge should find respite — but what about those who are being targeted for annihilation — Christians and religious minorities such as the Yazidis? At a minimum we could reach out to the women who have been victims of this barbarism — which you just don’t hear much about here in America.
Who will be their voice? Who will take up this cause, which is far more serious than some of those ads we watch on TV?
The Star says, “The futures of those who return are dark in a community that highly values chastity and honour. The plight is worst for those pregnant after repeated sexual assault, as many as 200.
Although some Yazidi men have announced that they would marry women who return from the Islamic State, that is less likely if they are carrying their tormentors’ children. “Sending back those girls and women is a way of shaming the whole community,” said Daoud, who spoke under a pseudonym to avoid losing the trust of the secretive religious sect. That includes the children they are carrying against their will. The Yazidis, a close-knit, conservative minority with roots in several ancient religions, believe in the purity of their line. Many of the pregnant women seek abortions to avoid the stigma. But finding medical care is difficult for destitute displaced people, and some could not terminate pregnancies in time. Others have resorted to dangerous methods or committed suicide. “I don’t know what the future would be for their babies,” said Daoud. “The girls and women don’t want them. They have suffered so much they just want to forget.”
Yesterday Hillary Clinton announced that she — once again — wants to be president of the United States. Recently in a speech she implored, “don’t you just want to see a woman president?”
Nah, I just want to see a good president, one who does not lie, or believe she is above the rule of law. And certainly one who does not abandon Americans to die and then promulgates a false narrative to cover the truth.
I know Mrs. Clinton will be pushing the identity politics of wage equality and other “war on women” themes. But how many millions in contributions did her Clinton Foundation accept from Islamic countries that denigrate women?
Could Mrs. Clinton be a champion for the Christian and Yazidi women? It seems not. And when will our American, Western media tell these stories to these young girls who want to go and join with these demons? If we do not delegitimize and tell the story of what Mohammed stood for — as ISIS and others do today — we cannot defeat this virus.
Moms and dads who have daughters, just close your eyes and imagine your girls, your precious little ones, having their lives destroyed by a historic violent pestilence — and no one hears their hurt, their pain. As a father of two daughters I need no more reason to despise Islamic militants and jihadists.
And truly, these animals are deserving of abuse — where is the leader who will bring abject death and destruction upon them? There can be no quarter and reading this story just solidifies my hate for them — and anyone supporting, or dismissing.
Instead of CAIR and their cohorts, as well as the assembly of leftist progressives attacking me, let’s see if you openly comment and condemn this behavior. If not, you are no different.

Nuaman suffered burns covering more than 55 percent of his body.

Two local young Muslims going for Friday prayers to their mosque in Pakistan's Lahore city beat up and set fire to a 14-year-old Christian boy after stopping him and asking his religious affiliation, according to a Christian group.
The victim, identified only as Nuaman, is being treated at Meo Hospital in Lahore in Punjab province, according to a Christian group, The Voice Society, in Pakistan. He has burns covering more than 55 percent of his body.
The Christian boy was coming from a tailor's shop when he was attacked. It was time for Muslim prayers on Friday when the incident happened.

Two Muslims, who have not been identified, stopped him and asked what his religion was.
"I told them that I am Christian. They started beating me, when I tried running, both boys started following me through the street and then they threw Kerosene on me and burnt me," Nuaman was quoted as saying. "I kept on running when a heap of sand came my way, I lied down on the sand … [A] few people from the community … [extinguished] fire by putting sand on me. I became unconscious, and they called 1122 Emergency medical helpline and called [for] an ambulance."
Nuaman, who lives with his paternal uncle, said he does not know the attackers but can identify them with their faces.
The boy's father died when he was 4, and his mother remarried.
The attack could be a reaction to a recent incident of lynching by some Christians of two suspected terrorists following a terror attack on a church in the same city, the group said.
Two suicide blasts hit the Christ Church and Catholic Church of Youhanabad Christian Colony in Lahore on March 15, killing 17 people. A Pakistani Taliban splinter group claimed responsibility for the attack, which left another 80 people injured.
Thousands of Christians rioted on the streets of Lahore following the attack, demanding more protection from the government. Reports said that two suspected terrorists were beaten to death and burned during the riots. The men were apparently in custody and were being shifted to a vehicle when the protesters got to them, beat them severely, tied them with a rope and set them on fire.
After the lynching incident, general hatred against the Christian minority has increased, the group believes.

The Plight of Palestinian Women - Robert Fulford (National Post-Canada)

The position of women today in the West Bank and Gaza provides chilling insight into what life in a Palestinian state will be like if that state ever becomes a reality.

According to the official daily paper of the PA, Al-Hayat al-Jadida, about half of Palestinian women have been exposed to domestic violence.

In 2014 a senior official in the PA Ministry of Women's Affairs reported a 100% increase in "family honor" killings.

Zainab Al-Ghneimi, who runs the Women's Legal Counselling Center, believes that a Palestinian husband assumes the right of ownership. Typically, Al-Ghneimi says, a man believes he has bought the woman and paid for her. She has become his property and must obey his orders.

The PA newspaper claims that many women accept violence as their due.

How nice. It's a good thing Islam is a religion of peace.

Zit I don't know to what degree religion plays in man's cruelty toward man, or in this case, women. Even if Islam were no longer a factor the barbaric treatment of the stronger vs the weaker in societies and toward other nations probably would not improve. One could argue endlessly over whether this is due to the culture ingrained by centuries of Islam, or the animalistic nature of mankind.

The only thing I know for sure is that the only Superpower in the world for the past 6+ decades is a democracy. The day the world's largest Superpower is no longer a democracy would signal a grave danger to the entire world.

[h=3]CALLS FOR PRAYER ROOMS AT FOOTBALL STADIUMS[/h]Campaigners have called for football clubs to install prayer rooms so Muslim fans can pray in peace and avoid the possibility of anti-Islamic abuse.
Fiyaz Mughal, who runs Islamophobia hotline Tell MAMA, suggested that stadiums should have a 'multi-faith prayer room' in their stadiums.
He told MailOnline: 'We are aware of incidents where practising Muslims have been abused since they have decided to quietly pray in public areas during half-time breaks.
'Given that people want to peacefully pray, we would suggest that clubs consider making a prayer room available for those fans who want to do so.
'The prayer room just has to be a space that is clean and where people can spend about 10 minutes praying and which is available through the match.
'It also can be listed as a multi-faith prayer room so that other faiths who want to use it, can do so.'
Currently both Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have prayer rooms at their stadiums for the use of fans.
The rooms are non-demoninational and can be used by fans of any religion, but are more likely to be used by Muslims because they must pray at fixed times during the day.
Newcastle United has also built a prayer room at its training ground because there are a number of Muslim footballers playing at the club.

[h=1]Liverpool FC to 'take action' against fan who posted picture of two Muslim men praying at Anfield during half-time and labelled it '#disgrace'[/h]
  • Stephen Dodd photographed Asif Bodi and Abubakar Bhula praying during half-time at Anfield last month
  • He captioned the image: 'Muslims praying at half time #DISGRACE'
  • Liverpool FC now say they will take action against Dodd over the post
  • But Mr Bodi says he doesn't want to see Dodd banned from the ground

Liverpool FC is set to take action against a fan who said that two Muslim men praying at the club's stadium were a 'disgrace'.
Stephen Dodd caused outrage when he posted a photograph online showing solicitors Asif Bodi and Abubakar Bhula worshipping during half-time of a FA Cup game.
Now club authorities say they will 'take appropriate action' against the supporter, which could include banning him from matches.
However, the Muslim fans featured in the picture are adamant that Dodd should not be shut out by the club, saying it would be an 'overreaction' to ban him.

Fury: Stephen Dodd took this photograph of Asif Bodi and Abubakar Bhula praying at Anfield last month

Dodd took a photograph of the two men during a match against Blackburn Rovers last month, with the caption: 'Muslims praying at half time at the match yesterday #DISGRACE.'
After facing a huge online backlash he continued to defend himself - saying that he had the right to criticise the men because he is a long-standing Liverpool supporter.
Police investigated the incident after receiving complaints from furious web users, but have now passed on the case to the club to investigate.

Liverpool FC said in a statement: 'Last month, Liverpool Football Club received complaints of a tweet showing an image of Muslim fans praying during half-time at Anfield accompanied by comments that were offensive to the complainants.
'The club reported the tweet, which was posted online on Sunday, March 8, 2015, to Merseyside Police.
'Merseyside Police investigated the matter and has referred this to LFC to take appropriate action against the individual involved. The club is currently in the process of determining the appropriate action to take and a further update statement will be made in due course.

Backlash: Dodd tried to defend himself by saying that he was a long-standing fan of Liverpool

'Liverpool Football Club would like to remind its supporters that it does not tolerate any form of discrimination and is committed to ensuring that the club and Anfield provides a welcoming and safe environment for all fans regardless of race, religion, gender, age, disability or sexual orientation.'
Mr Bodi, 46, told MailOnline that neither he nor Mr Bhula had complained about Dodd's tweet, and said that he should be sent on an awareness course rather than being banned by Liverpool.
'I don't want to see him banned because I think that would be an overreaction,' he said.
'Neither of us has been approached either by the club or by the police, we haven't made any complaint.
'I wouldn't like to see a fellow supporter banned from the ground - I do defend his right to express an opinion.'
The lawyer from Preston, whose eight-year-old son Ayman can also be seen in Dodd's photo, earlier told the Liverpool Echo: 'My little boy said at the time, "Someone is taking a picture of us," and I thought maybe it was someone who hadn't seen prayers before.
'I certainly didn't expect to be called a disgrace for doing it. But the support since has been very nice and I'm thankful.'
He added: 'We have a small window in which to pray, a bit like the transfer window in football. Once that closes the chance has gone.
'That day, the time came for prayer and the window would have closed before the game finished so we did it at half-time.
'Most people are absolutely fine with it and the stewards at Anfield are wonderful, but it only takes one or two people to react in the wrong way and you could have a nasty situation.'

Match: The incident took place when Liverpool were playing Blackburn Rovers at Anfield in March

Mr Bhula, 37, who has known Mr Bodi since childhood, offered to meet with Dodd to explain the importance of prayers in Islam.
He said: 'We've had a lot of nice comments since and I appreciate that. We weren't harming anybody.
'Education is key to stopping things like this from happening. Maybe the man who took the photo has not come across Muslims before who have explained the significance of prayer.
'I would be quite happy to meet with him to explain why we pray and when it needs to be done.'
In 2013, a group of West Ham supporters were abused by onlooking fans because they were praying behind the main stand at Upton Park during a match.
