Another GOY for Baldo
15 DIME
PRESEASON TOURNEY
GAME OF THE YEAR
Washington State vs. Butler
As you know I had been right on the money with all my College Bowl previews this week on my Daily Video Report. Last night I put my money where my mouth was on the Hawaii Bowl, making it the first postseason game of the season I bet on, and Tulsa - the 10-point road dog - just destroyed turnover-prone Hawaii.
So much for the favorites being 6-0 ATS in the bowls, right?
First of all, before we get going for Christmas, I'd like to extend Holiday Wishes to you all. Enjoy the day with your family and friends and don't let a win or loss affect you. Seriously, there are more important things in this world than having your team cover the spread.
Now, let's get to today's action...
Cowboys-Cardinals? You can have that dog of a game. After watching Dallas blow a huge lead on Sunday at home against Washington, there's no way I'm touching the Pokes, even in a teaser.
Heat-Lakers? Magic-Celtics? Bulls-Knicks? Nope, I'll take a pass on them, too.
My lone play today is definitely qualifies as obscure as I'm turning to college hoops for the championship game of the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu between Butler and Washington State at 9:50 Eastern that's being broadcast on that little sports network we all watch.
On Thursday I delivered a 5 dime play on Washington State in its upset of No. 15 Baylor plus a free pick on Butler in its upset of Florida State. This is a match-up of two evenly matched teams; thus the line being a virtual pick-em. However, I like the game a lot and it's another rare 15 dime release, a play just as strong as Tulsa was last night. And I'm 7-1 this year and 15-4 the past two years combined with 15 dime basketball plays, college and pro combined.
