Did my 15 dime release on Georgia get destroyed yesterday by Central Florida? Absolutely.
Am I now 2-1 with 15 dime plays in the postseason following Georgia's loss and previous wins on Tulsa and Oklahoma State? Absolutely.
Have I been in a dreadful slump the past seven days. Absolutely.
Now with all that perfectly clear and on the table, I'm still coming out with my 2nd Biggest College Play of the Season today on Wisconsin and TCU, a 20 dime release on the Rose Bowl.
I've said many times that you have to have short-term memory deficit in order to be a handicapper/gambler. That's why I don't celebrate the wins (and my god, there haven't been many of them the past week for sure) or lament the losses.
I love this game today. Could I lose it? Absolutely. After all, this is GAMBLING and there are no guarantees. But I've got to play it exactly for how strongly I feel about it.
I can live with losses; I can't live with regret from not playing a game the way it should be played and Wisconsin-TCU is worthy of being my 2nd biggest play of the college football season.
Am I telling you to mortage the house or take food off your table? Absolutely not. And you should scroll up the page to see my current losing streak which I make no bones about NOT hiding. But, again, I love the game and I'm playing it this way.
