La Salle continues its four-game homestand by hosting Rider on Wednesday night at 7 PM. The Explorers will look to rebound from a 89-77 loss to Bucknell on Friday night. Sophomore Aaric Murray had a career-high 28 points in the defeat and became the fastest Explorer to reach 100 blocks (41 games). He leads the team in scoring (16.5 ppg.) and rebounding (8.5 rpg.).
Seniors Ruben Guillandeaux (15.1 ppg.) and Jerrell Willams (14.2 ppg.) are both nearing the 1,000-point mark. Guillandeaux has 942 career points and Williams has 915.
Freshman Sam Mills has been playing well of late and is averaging 11.0 ppg. over his last two games. He has made six of his last eight three-point shots.
Rider Broncs (7-5)
Conference: Metro Atlantic
Rider comes into town fresh off a 20-point victory over Monmouth last Wednseday. The Broncs have several impressive wins on their resume over USC and TCU. It will be Rider's second trip to Philly this month as it fell to Drexel, 71-67, in overtime on December 11.
Justin Robinson leads Rider in scoring (15.3 ppg.) and assists (4.0 apg.). Philadelphia natives Mike Ringgold (Roman Catholic) averages 12.9 ppg., while Novar Gadson (Bartram) (10.2 ppg.) and Brandon Penn (Robeson) (10.0 ppg.) round out four Broncs in double-figures.

La Salle leads the series 23-6 and 14-4 at home. This will be the third straight year the two teams have met with La Salle taking a victory in the last three games. The teams were rivals in the Middle Atlantic (1966-67 to 1972-73) and East Coast (1974-75 to 1982-83) Conferences. The nearby schools also met every year from 1932-33 to 1937-38.
