Do you want BOISE STATE in the ORANGE BOWL too???????delmo said:I am not sure how anyone can say that the Eagles are not one of the top 3 teams in the NFL. Of their 12 wins 4 are between 10-19 pts aand 5 are by greater than 20 pts. It doesn't matter how weak the NFC is, the bottom line is that is impressive. The Eagles will go to the Super Bowl and give anyone they play the fight of their life.
Comparing schedules...........PHILLY has had a CUPCAKE schedule.delmo said:Fishead, if Boise deserves to be there I have no problem with them in the Orange Bowl. However, I am not really sure I understand your comparison between Boise in the Orange Bowl and Philly in the Super Bowl.
EXACTLY WildBill is right on. The birds schedule has been by far one of the most difficult in the NFC and is year in and year out. It's even been tougher than some of these AFC teams people are drooling about. The Birds haven't played a cupcake schedule in at least 3 years.don't know about your statement there Fish. Looking at the Sagarin ratings the Eagles schedule has been 0.77 points tougher than the Pack and almost two points tougher than the Falcons. In fact, they have the toughest strength of schedule of anyone that is likely to make the playoffs in the NFC. Since this is merely an NFC question I think that would call into question your assertion, but it is worth noting the Colts schedule has been almost at the same level and the Chargers have faced a much easier schedule as well. If Denver makes it in, it probably will be due to an even easier schedule faced. The Eagles schedule hasn't been tough, but far from the easiest out there. Look at the rating for Seattle's schedule...
Good luck Glacker I like the Falcons D a lot and Vick to me is a mini-McNabb with better evasive abilities. They should be good for awhile.SB, I know I am wishing....hell, 5 years ago I couldn't believe the Falcons made it to the Super Bowl; I've got lots of friends in Philly. They have better tans than me currently.....I am sticking with my Falcons. Should be fun. Take Care, G.
