Hitler killed people because 'there was no Jesus in Nazi Germany': Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson joins Ted Cruz on stage and rants about STDs, abortion and guns

As the 2016 presidential election further descends into reality show territory, Ted Cruz did his part Friday evening by going on stage in South Carolina alongside Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson.

Glen Beck makes Robertson looks secular with his remarks. How does Cruz come up with these guys & think they could
possibly be an asset. Beck believes that God brought about the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in order to
encourage Americans to vote for Ted Cruz. "I couldn't help, but wonder, why? Why now? Why did you have to take Antonin
now?" Beck's co-host Pat Gray asked on the broadcast.

Beck, who has endorsed Cruz, often invokes God during speeches at the Texas senator's campaign rallies,
and has even claimed that Cruz's birth was brought about by "the hand of divine providence."

"Fall to your knees and pray to God to reveal to you what the hour is," Beck recently told the audience at a
rally in South Carolina. "This is your last call, America! Stand with the man I believe was raised for this hour, Ted Cruz!"

Something is wrong with this Glenn Beck, a long time ago I used to watch him and he was always crying
about somethings most people take instride. Why would anyone seek an endorsement from Beck.

It's actually the opposite of that. The very existence of Jesus has led to the mass slaughter of Jews on many occasions.

I'm convinced Abraham was the only religious leader who wasn't a full blown nutter. But God probably eventually drove him crazy. And ever since all religion has given mankind is one crazy leader after another screaming, "Follow Me!"

He's hungry!

Following Donald Trump’s victory in the South Carolina GOP primary, talk radio host Glenn Beck urged his Facebook followers to join him and his family “in a fast for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) our country and the Nevada caucus.”

“I would like to ask you to join me and my family Monday in a fast for Ted Cruz, our country and the Nevada caucus,” Beck wrote on his Facebook page after the South Carolina election results showed a decisive double-digit victory for Trump, whose candidacy Beck has been staunchly opposed to.

I’ll be sure to get right on that.

Can't wait to hear Beck's next bombastic flourish after Cruz's showing in Nevada Tuesday.
The scary part of SC is that Rubio proved he can beat Cruz on Cruz's Evangelical Home Turf!
Cruz's has to remain quasi viable through the SEC Super Tuesday states to thwart the
unlikely possibility of Rubio finally winning a state. The Sportsbooks even after Trump shellacking
everyone to gain all 50 delegates in a non 'winner take all' primary still have Rubio a close 2nd
to Trump.

I doubt Cruz throws his support behind any other candidate.

Trump may slow America's slide toward socialism but he won't reverse it like Cruz would.

Rubio is the same ol' "free market" GOPe boilerplate BS we've heard for the last 25 years.

[h=1]More dirty tricks from Cruz as staffer apologizes for posting 'inaccurate' story that claimed Rubio dismissed the Bible[/h]

  • A video surfaced that seemed to show Marco Rubio making a flippant comment when walking by a Ted Cruz staffer reading the Bible
  • 'Not many answers in it,' Rubio supposedly said
  • Later, the translation was corrected to, 'All the answers are in there'
  • Ted Cruz's national spokesman apologized for spreading the original story, noting on Facebook, 'I wrongly assumed the story was correct'

Ted Cruz's national spokesman apologized to Marco Rubio for posting a video that appeared to show the Florida senator scoffing at the Bible in what the Rubio campaign is dubbing another 'dirty trick.'
'I want to apologize to Senator Marco Rubio for posting an inaccurate story about him here earlier today,' spokesman Rick Tyler wrote on Facebook yesterday, removing his original post.
The story involved a remark Rubio made when walking past a Cruz staffer who was reading the Bible.
'The story misquoted a remark the Senator made to the staffer,' Tyler wrote. 'I assumed wrongly the story was correct.'

Marco Rubio was filmed walking by a Cruz staffer and making a comment about the Bible. The original video, shared by the Cruz campaign, has him saying, 'not many answers in it'

Ted Cruz's campaign has started getting a bad rap for dirty tricks after surrogates in Iowa told caucus goers that Ben Carson was about to drop out. The campaign also photoshopped a picture that made it look like Marco Rubio was shaking hands with President Obama

The right-leaning Independent Journal Review tracked down the original source of the video – a blog post from the Daily Pennsylvanian, an independent student newspaper out of the University of Pennsylvania.
The post, headlined, 'Marco Rubio has awkward confrontation with Rafael Cruz, Cruz staffer in hotel lobby,' says that Rubio 'decided to have some fun' with the elder Cruz and the staffer Christian Collins.
'Got a good book there,' Rubio says to Collins.

'Not many answers in it, especially that one,' Rubio adds.
The Daily Pennsylvanian later updated the post with confirmation from the Cruz campaign that Collins' book was the Bible.
The Right Scoop, a conservative website, picked the video and story up from there and Tyler shared it with Cruz supporters.
The transcript, however, was botched.
Rubio did indeed say, 'Got a good book there,' as he strolled by the Cruz team.
But a corrected video, which came out later and was shared by Rubio's spokesman Alex Conant, transcribes Rubio as saying: 'All the answers are in there. Especially in that one.'

'This video has correct transcript; any other is another dirty trick by Cruz camp,' Conant said. 'How do I know? I'm in the video!!'
The Rubio campaign had complained of other dirty tricks courtesy of Cruz's people in the run-up to Saturday's South Carolina primary, in which Rubio came out barely ahead, taking second place over Cruz's third.
Rubio's people complained that team Cruz had Photoshopped an image of Rubio shaking hands with Democratic President Barack Obama, which is not a good look for South Carolina voters.
'Every picture in a political campaign is Photoshopped,' Tyler told Fox News. 'It is absolutely true.'
However, this time around, Tyler was forced to eat his words.
'According to the Cruz staffer, the Senator made a friendly and appropriate remark,' Tyler wrote in his Facebook apology.
'Since the audio was unclear, I should not have assumed the story was correct,' he added.
Tyler explained that he deleted his original post, likely so it wouldn't continue to be shared.
'But the fact remains that I did post it when I should have checked its accuracy first,' he wrote. 'I regret the mistake.'

Cruz got caught making up quotes about Rubio.

Sound familiar? His supporters here do the same thing !:):)

Yeah, I figured you would say Trump.

Even for the people who don't like Trump, he is a high upside pick. Unfortunately, he also has more risk since we really have absolutely no clue how he would govern.

I guess you could argue that it would be better for like Hilary to win, thus setting it up better for 2020. Whereas if Trump wins, you wouldn't get the true solutions you want until 2024 at the earliest.

That is true, however, at this point what difference does it make?

Another loser, Lindsey Graham, must be a Guesser follower.

Graham endorsed Jeb Bush after dropping out the 2016 race and now that Bush has dropped out he is supporting both Kasich and Rubio.

“I think a Kasich-Rubio ticket would be great,” he told Cosby. “John Kasich is a terrific governor from Ohio. Marco is very, very talented. Rubio-Kasich, Kasich-Rubio. I think those combinations, if they could consolidate and come together would be a very potent ticket in the fall.”

I see a pattern forming.
