Which is bad for Rubio. He needs all those guys to go away asap.

The more establishment candidates stay in the race splitting the RINO vote (Kasich, Bush, Rubio, Christie etc.) the better the odds for Cruz.

Would probably be easier for Kasich, Christie and Bush to coalesce around Rubio if he had a stronger showing or if they thought he was really the guy for the job. GOP is gonna need to do some soul searching because they can't keep going into primaries with such a spread out field. Gotta think 1-2 of these guys is out by Super Tuesday.

The longer the spread out field, the more likely it will be for a brokered convention, as no Candidate will get the needed delegates. That's bad for Trump and Cruz.

The establishment vote is being chopped up. Unless 3 of them drop out and get behind one guy, they will kill each other off.

Go Rubio!
Go Kasich!
Go Bush!
Go Christie!
Go Fiorina!

You better hope Trump DOMINATES New Hampshire or it is OVER for him.

Southerners are more evangelical than Iowans, therefore, his smarmy insults toward fellow Republicans won't play well down there. Southerners are loyal gentleman and Cruz is the consummate gentleman. Trump and his "New York values" will hit a brick wall in the South.

I've been a 'Mantis' (fence sitter) for most of the primaries and very patient watching the process unfold. Virtually everything Trump has said I agree with, was stolen from Cruz.

Trump was dominating the polls early but only because of name recognition (not unlike Hillary). Trump's support is a mile wide but one inch deep. Cruz's ground game is the best I have ever seen and that is where this nomination will ultimately be won.

Like I said, anything less than a DOMINATING 20+ pt win for Trump in liberal New Hampshire and he is toast. Trump is a poor sport and hates to lose, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he bows out after losing South Carolina to the only candidate who can be trusted to completely dismantle and destroy everything Obama has done to my beloved America.

This victory was HUGE Trump won by a bigger margin than even the polls suggested he would. Who do you think will
get the bounce going into South Carolina. He even won by a bigger margin than Sanders beat Clinton, In the last major poll
CNN Sanders had a 25 pt lead, Trump a 14% lead over Rubio. Trump overperformed he doesn't need any ground game
to eek out small victories. The last odds posted by Bookmaker, in South Carolina before Trumps huge New Hampshire
victory were as follows.

REPUBLICAN SOUTH CAROLINA PRIMARY WINNER

DONALD TRUMP -342

MARCO RUBIO +328

TED CRUZ +425

JEB BUSH +1157

JOHN KASICH +2032

BEN CARSON +5000

CHRIS CHRISTIE +5139

CARLY FIORINA +20000

Whose going to get the bounce in SC, the bug winner in the north of course!

According to exit polls, Trump won among men, and he won among
women. He won all age groups. All income groups. Urban, suburban,
rural. Every issue group. Gun owners and non-gun owners. Voters
who call themselves very conservative and those who call themselves moderates.

In short, Trump won everybody.

Among the two candidates whose results look at all like thoseof an eventual GOP presidential nominee, polling suggests that Ted Cruz would do significantly better than Donald Trump in the general election. According to the Real Clear Politics average of recent polls, Cruz would fare 5 points better versus Hillary Clinton than Trump would.

Polling has consistently shown Cruz to have an advantage over Trump in this regard: Fox News found that Cruz would fare 4 points better than Trump, beating Clinton by 7 points (50 to 43 percent) to Trump's 3 (47 to 44 percent). NBC News and the Wall Street Journal found that Cruz would fare 6 points better than Trump, losing to Clinton by 4 points (49 to 45 percent) to Trump's 10 (51 to 41 percent). And Quinnipiac found that Cruz would fare 5 points better than Trump, tying Clinton (at 45 percent apiece) while Trump would lose by 5 points (46 to 41 percent).

In all, RCP's average finds that Cruz would beat Clinton by 1 point (47 to 46 percent), while Trump would lose by 4 points (47 to 43 percent).

Cruz and porn, an interesting gaffe.

Amy Lindsay, the actress featured in films such as “Kinky Sex Club,” “Milf,” “Carnal Wishes” and “Sex Sent Me to the ER” stars in Sen. Ted Cruz ‘s latest campaign ad entitled “Conservatives Anonymous.”

“The actress responded to an open casting call,” Cruz campaign national press secretary Catherine Frazier told TheDC. “She passed her audition and got the job.

[h=1]BREAKING NEWS: 'Birther' lawsuit filed in federal court directly challenges Canadian-born Ted Cruz's eligibility to be president[/h]

  • Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada to American mother and Cuban father
  • Five supporters of Donald Trump are asking a federal judge to declare that Cruz is not eligible to run for president
  • The U.S. Constitution says only 'natural born' citizens can run the country

Five people in northern Alabama have filed a federal lawsuit claiming Texas congressman Ted Cruz is ineligible to run for president.
Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father.
The U.S. Constitution limits the presidency to 'natural born' U.S. citizens. There are differences of opinion on whether or not the federal courts have established what those two words mean.
Cruz's eligibility has been a frequent campaign theme of Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner.

THEY WANT TO KNOW: Five Alabama supporters of Donald Trump are asking a federal court to declare that Canadian-born Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is ineligible to run for president

DRUMBEAT: Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, has said repeatedly that Ted Cruz's citizenship could become a problem for the Canadian-born politician

A Cruz spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said only that he wasn't aware of the lawsuit.
'I haven't seen it,' he told DailyMail.com in an email.
The lawsuit seeks a 'declaratory judgment' from a federal judge 'declaring that Rafael Edward Cruz is ineligible to qualify/run/seek and be elected to the Office of President of the United States of America.'
The plaintiffs, Sebastian Green, Shannon Duncan, Kathryne Spears, Kyle Spears and Jerry Parker are all supporters of Trump's candidacy, according to AL.com.
'Mr. Cruz cannot be a natural born citizen of two (2) countries,' the five argue. 'This would violate elementary rules of logic. Since the Defendant, at the moment of birth, was located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; he became a citizen of Canada by virtue of it.'
'Plaintiffs allege that at the time of Mr. Cruz’s birth, the United States could not confer citizenship upon him under any law or legal theory that exists. "Natural born" means native born within the United States or its dominions/territories. Canada is not a territory of the United States. Whether the Defendant’s mother was/is a United State’s citizen is irrelevant.'
The lawsuit states that Cruz's U.S. citizenship was 'conferred by other means' than the situation of his birth.
And 'if Mr. Cruz were allowed to run as a candidate, the Plaintiffs' right to have only lawful and constitutionally qualified candidates to run would be violated.'
Cruz is himself a constitutional lawyer and former solicitor general of Texas, a job where he argued cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
He has insisted that the 'birther' argument is a non-starter floated for political purposes. He maintains that since he is not a naturalized citizen, he is 'natural born' under the Constitution's definition.
But Trump has repeatedly talked on the campaign trail about Cruz's place of birth, urging the senator to seek the very kind of declaratory judgment the five Alabama plaintiffs are asking for.
Trump has said if Cruz were to become the Republican Party's presidential nominee, Democratic partisans could sue in order to have his candidacy nullified, throwing the GOP into chaos just a few months before the November election.

The presidential campaign for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is defending a controversial endorsement from an anti-Semitic pastor, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports.
Kansas pastor Mike Bickle endorsed Cruz. He also runs a campaign of his own called the “Israel Mandate,” which has the goal of “partnering with Messianic Jews for the salvation of the Jewish people,” according to JTA.
Bickle has made some troubling comments, including a sermon in 2011 predicting that God will send “hunters” against Jewish people who refuse to convert to Christianity. Six years earlier in 2005, he said, “a significant number of Jews will be in work camps, prison camps or death camps.”
But Bickle’s remarks have earned the ire of the Anti-Defamation League, which told the Times of Israel that “Mike Bickle’s views about why God allowed Jews to be killed in the Holocaust, as expressed in a 2011 speech, are abhorrent, intolerant and unacceptable. We assume that Senator Cruz accepted Bickle’s endorsement without knowing about these comments. We hope that when these comments are called to the Senator’s attention, he will clearly and forcefully reject Bickle’s hateful ideas.”

Nick Muzin, an adviser to Ted Cruz’s campaign, brushed the remarks off, telling Jewish Insider, “My understanding is that he was paraphrasing the words of the prophets Jeremiah and Zechariah. I know that he has made support for Israel and the Jewish people a central part of his mission.”
According to JTA, Ted Cruz has employed “dog whistles” that allude to negative sentiments toward American Jews, including talk of rival Donald Trump’s “New York values,” even calling the popular Yiddish expression “chutzpah,” a “New York term.”
