Death of Latasha Harlins
Du's store, Empire Liquor, located in South Los Angeles, was normally staffed by Du's husband and son. However, on the morning of the shooting, Du was working behind the counter, and her husband was outside resting in the family van.
Du observed Harlins putting a bottle of orange juice in her backpack. Police said that Du erroneously concluded Harlins was attempting to steal, and did not see the money Harlins held in her hand. The police reached this conclusion after speaking with the two eyewitnesses present and viewing the videotape of the incident, recorded by a store security camera. The videotape showed that Du grabbed Harlins by her sweater and snatched her backpack. Harlins then struck Du with her fist three times, knocking Du to the ground. After Harlins backed away, Du threw a stool at her. Harlins then picked up the orange juice bottle that dropped during the scuffle, Du snatched the bottle from her, and Harlins turned to leave. Du reached under the counter, retrieved a handgun, and fired at Harlins from behind at a distance of about three feet (one meter). The gunshot struck Harlins in the back of the head, killing her instantly. Du's husband, Billy Heung Ki Du, heard the gunshot and rushed into the store. After speaking to his wife, who asked for the whereabouts of Harlins before fainting, he dialed 9-1-1 to report an attempted holdup.

So, because an Asian shot a black girl and killed her, you automatically assume the murder was based on racism? Even though there was zero evidence presented at trial that racism existed in the situation, you assume the Asian was racist? You have some issues if that's how you're walking through this world dude.
The Asian and the black girl fought over some orange juice and the situation escalated. I have no idea why people murder other people but I do know it's not always based on race especially when there's no evidence to suggest so.

Asian lady working at a store. Black girl comes in to buy some orange juice. Black girl puts the OJ in her bag but intends on buying the juice (money is in her hand). The Asian lady assumes the girl is shoplifting and confronts her. A fight ensues. The black girl attempts to leave the store, the Asian pulls out a gun and shoots the black girl in the back of the head as she leaves the store.

Would you automatically assume the Asian killed the black girl because she was black? Would you assume the Asian is a racist?
On the surface it doesn't look good, but too little information.
The Asian girl could be an asshole, maybe she had issues. Or maybe it's the neighborhood, one with a lot if robberies. Ir maybe the Asian girl has been robbed too often and she's cynical.
Sometimes shit just happens, sometimes you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I don't jump to conclusions, most of life is complex and those easy black and white arguments are rarely accurate
If this is how ya'll feel, sincerely, if this exists at the foundation of yours and the others whole "world view" that you are victims and will always BE VICTIMS then the ONLY solution is for white people and those of you who feel as you describe to Live Apart from one another.
