It's a common phrase I use on a regular basis.

Easy, these are employees. Walk out of practice and suspend without pay.

Shut down the NFL for a couple of years and make these guys get real jobs where you don't get pampered and kneeling will get you fired. The NFL will survive and the NFL will be respected for doing that. These players need a serious reality check.

i have said that to my wife about my kids in front of my kids...none of my kids are black, is it still racist?

It's different because the prison system is as close to modern day slavery that you will ever see. That's why the players are pissed to hear that used as an analogy when one of the main reasons they were protesting has to do with criminal injustice. I just find it funny he would use that analogy in this situation. You couldn't have said anything worse really to get your point across. But I am sure it came across not how he meant it.

It’s is somewhat hilarious that so many people get bent out of shape over things. Some highly paid athletes kneel during the national anthem and people cry, whine and throw a hissyfit about the disrespect to the country, people on the other side cry, whine and throw a hissyfit about oppression. Some rich owner says something off color and people cry and whine about racism and want this guy to be punished while others cry and whine about his right to say whatever he wants.

Seems like a bunch of crying and whining all the time and about everything. Insert whatever issue or whatever rich asshole in whatever scenario and the incessant crying and whining immediately begins on both sides of the argument. Has it really come to this?

It's an idiom

It means "the people least capable of running a group or organization are now in charge".

it's not meant to be taken literally, seriously?

Considering the contract he gave to Osweiler, he should keep probably stay quiet.

TV ratings overall are down 8% while NFL is down 5%. Seems like people in general are watching via different mediums but that doesn't fit the angry old white guy narrative you all are clinging to.

Please don't bring facts into this conversation. People on here will not have it.

better not say "it's raining cats and dogs", PETA and lefties might accuse you of abusing animals

"you're barking up the wrong tree" now means you're calling somebody a dog

"you're beating around the bush" now means you like to assault women by grabbing their pussy

You always have a problem with someone else`s views.

Not everyone is always going to agree with you.

A prison is for criminals, not slavery.

Except not all criminals are imprisoned. Therefore they go after the easy targets. Same shit that is happening now in a way happened in the 50's and 60's. Except black people were protesting/complaining for civil rights. Something they never had. They started to assert their power with MLK and Malcom X. This is why they started the "War on Drugs." To minimize black power. This was the Federal Government coming up with laws that sentence black people for longer terms than white people even though it is the exact same drug in a different form. It's pure genius. They told you how bad these drugs were but they only target minorities. And then they only make the penalties harsh for those who are caught with Crack....which is a drug found in the ghetto. While cocaine is found in rich areas....aka most likely white people. It's not rocket science. Like I have said over and over, black people can't stand up for black people in the United States. Most people are tired of black people complaining.

Still, the same thing goes on today. Except they cleaned up that law a little too late after putting black power in their place....now the familes of the familes of the familes and of the familes are left with what? It is a complete depletion and destruction of hope for a race. So what are you left with. Prison now is a perfect place for companies to get their products made for about 20 cents an hr.

That is modern day slavery. The ripple effect. Shit doesn't just get fixed as soon as you fix that law. They implemented that shit for four decades lmfao. Millions of slaves. The ripple effect.

No one is Crying & Whining up in here, guys are just making suggestions on how the ship might be steered away from the rocks.

Vast Majority of what guys here are saying is that, at some point, some Address is gonna have to get made to all the Crying & Whining

that so MANY Americans are doing, every chance they get about any & every single little thing or even Non-thing.

We've a Crap-Ton of people in USA who crave attention, exist to hear the sound of their own voice: Complaining about Some Thing.

All guys up in here are saying is that some Response to this is gonna have to get made to get this to stop.

Of The Kneelers, guys are asking: "What Suggestions for SOLUTIONS do you have?" . They aren't answering that question.
