gl to us there Presto

one more for me

WTA Montreal. Centre Court (after Golovin match)--been raining in Motnreal and they expect thunderstorms this evening this match may be postponed for tomm

T Garbin (ITA) -175 over S Dubois (CAN)-- hometown kid getting the wild card here in a match that sees a youngster vs a veteran. Stepathie has had some success this yr on the ITF circuit, but on the WTA she's 1-8. She likes to hit the ball hard and has little patience--a good retriever will pose problems for her and Garbin suits this bill. The Italian comes in as a lucky loser here, she has two matches under her belt, hence well accilimated with court conditions. She is a respectable 9-7 ytd on hardcourt--although she grew up on clay, she prefers hardcourt and last three yrs has played more on this surface than clay.

Someone needs to remind me NEVER to beat Mirza as chalk. I should be shot for betting her -431 even against a player with pathetic results like Brianti. Luckily Ivanovic and Dechy came through. I don't think Ivanovic has ever lost to Golovin. Anyhow, I am not understanding this Garbin match. I thought she qualified and the fact that she came in as lucky loser concerns me. I don't usually pay attention to line moves but what's with this one on Dubois. I think she opened -201(according to tip-ex) and I played Garbin like 3 or 4 hours ago at -179 and the line keeps going down. It's now at -172. I feel like I am missing something and contemplating reducing the play.

Looks like those people were right. Dubois manhandling Garbin so far. Oh well.

Hi magking1, for handicaps/Challenger events and tennis parlays i use 5dimes. Been with them for a long time, great book. I use Pinnacle as well (no handicaps offered there)

evening plays

1. K Vliegen +4 games over A Roddick-- didn't post my lines on the above plays cause they lines changed dramatically (often the case with handicaps at 5d). As is the case with this one as well. I got it at -108, its -150 now........two pretty big servers here, service breaks will be at a minimum. Courts at Cinci are faster than those at Toronto. Roddick's second match since coming back from injury. His fitness will be put to the test as he went thru a marathon yesterday over the Italian 6-7,7-6,7-6 (no service breaks in the match!!!)

2. N Pratt (AUS) -191 over M Pelletier-- 3.82u to win 2u-- N Li gift wrapped that match for Marie, pathetic performance, shame on her. NIcole has played very well of late. She had to get thru qualies in Montreal and did so in impressive fashion. The Canadian should bib adieu here.

3. K Clisjters (BEL) -7.5 games -123 over S Dubois (CAN)-- good luck Stepanie, your gonna need it.

whewwwww, had to sweat Nicole, but the veteran rallied down 2-4 in the 3rd to win 3-6,6-4,6-4

sweep the day 5-0 :103631605 (push in Roddick match, bad luck void play with Kim would have been as easy winner. nt- the parlay was psuhed to a sinlges play as Gonzalez won but the doubles match was void as Drake/Vaidisova withdrew)

curious, did anyone have the courage to take young Andy Murray outright over Roger? I certainly didn't, kudos to anyone that did. Nice outright win also by Stan--Nalbandian is in dreadfull form.

Great call on Pratt I was sweating it as it was closer than I thought. Didn't see Kim's injury. If she doesn't play the US Open that makes it even more ridiculously wide open than it already is. How serious did the injury look?

Something wrong with me. I know you don't post plays here everyday for good reason I am sure. Somehow, the days you do post are the days I forget to check in. :missingte

thks guys, appreciate that. Altice, it looked bad, she grimaced and held her wrist with her other hand. No interview stright to the trainer, she held her normal news conference, I missed that entirely. I'm sure her condition has been outdatred since.

here's what i'm on. Decreasing my regular play today to .75u (except for one play), don't want to give away my winnings so quickly :missingte .....

1. PARLAY
Hingis TO Srebotnik TO Vaidisova--- 1u to win .77u....Dubois' time has expired here in Montreal......Pratt played the late match and got off the course at 11:34 pm, she has played 4 matches in 5 days and now has a top 10 player in Nicole, she should be toast.....can Hantuchova ,the women with a 2-cent brain, outplay and beat arguably the games best tactician in Hingis? I'm banking that answer is NO

2. PARLAY
Kuznetsova TO Roddick TO Peer-- .75u to win .91u...... Kuz was impressive in her first match back and has handled Ai comfortably the last 4 h2h matches.......i'm buying into Roddick's play--has yet to drop serve in two matches, very impressive yesterday. 5-1 career h2h over the Argentinian.........Peer is a GREAT fighter, she plays her friend and doubles partner Bartoli. Career 3-0 h2h in favor of Peer, all wins a yr ago, Peer is a better, more polished player than in '05. This should be a good match as Bartoli has played well the last 2 weeks and is no hack on hardcourts.....

3. PARLAY
Ginepri +3 games TO Srebotnik-- .75u to win .74u......major monies flow is on Robbie today, the line just keeps dropping as everyone is backing the American. Posted my thoughts on this match in the main forum, wont repeat here. Robbie is hitting form, I think this one goes the distance. Here's Ginepri;

"After beating Dmitry Tursunov tonight, I think it’s on for me again. I felt good tonight and am pretty fired up to go tomorrow against Andy. It feels like last summer, when I was winning so much. If I can put another match like this in the books, it’ll be only straight up from here.
I’m antsy to get out there and get that winning feeling back. It’s one of the best feelings in the world. "

expecting some inspired play in front of the home crowd, lets go Robbie!!!

for Friday......

PARLAY
1. A Roddick TO Safina-- 1.18u to win 1u.......33 yr old Pratt just doesn't have enough game to handle in form Dinara. They have never met, but Vs top Russian women last 3 yrs she is 0-5........Roddick Vs Murray on US soil, Centre court evening session, should be a SWEET ONE!!!!!! Murray is 2-0 Vs ANdy and has not dropped a set Vs the big hitting American. That's amazing and a testamount to the great returner of serve that he is--uncanny for a kid so young to be able to handle big serves as such a young age, he has shown this over and over again. However, i'm backing Roddick here. Major motivation for Andy here, payback time for the BEATING Andrew gave him at Wimbledon. This is a good spot for Roddick-- a) courts playign fast, will help that booming serve of his b) catching the kid in 'over-tennis' mode c) revenge
interesting note in this match is that its also Roddick Vs Gilbert here, as Brad now coaches Murray, hmm, little extra motivation for Roddick?

Andy your not gogin to go 0-3 Vs a 19 yr old Scotsman, are you?...:puppy:

bad day, two weeks in a row Gonzo has killed me on a sizable posted play. He was flawless in that first set, unstoppable. Ferrer couldn't serve for shit in the second, he broke Gonzo twice yet lost the set, good grief.

two weeks at this site and i've accomplished squat. Just went over the tally here (all plays as 1 unit otherwise noted)

+0.85 u

:realtongu

good win by Roddick today. VERY good stuff by Hingis today over Kuz, an entertaining match both played well. Hingis is rounding into form.
