What can I say about the card today ?
There are many matches however there are not so many worth a bet because of the unknown factors with the players in the early rounds .
Sat there around 2 hours trying to pick the possible best bets and think I found few very decent plays for a parlay .

Arina Rodionova vs Alisa Kleybanova
Preview by : thedestroyer9
Alisa Kleybanova is a youngster with a big future and is now up to a career-high ranking of 69 two weeks ago. Some of you will remember her winning the first ITF tournament she entered as just a 14yo, and even though its taken a while for her to develop, she is now a very dangerous player especially at events like these. She has already claimed the scalps of Peng, Arvidsson, Szavay, K Bondarenko, Bacszinszky and amazingly Vaidisova this year, and has a fantastic winning record on clay of over 75% including making finals in 2 of her last 4 tournaments on the dirt. Arina Rodionova, who plays a majority of her tennis still at ITF level, won easily yesterday but against an unheralded and unlikely local which was her first victory at this level. She had not prevailed past the second round in her previous 6 claycourt tournaments and will be understrengthed here.
Melinda Czink vs Katarina Srebotnik

Doubles specialist Srebotnik is having dream run in her singles campaign. She has played well on the American hard courts and made good transition to clay. She is good mover on the court and consistent from both sides . Srebotnik has a good record this season and maybe it would be even better if she had a little bit more luck with her tournament draws , her losses this season : Ivanovic x 2 , Hantuchova , Safina , Henin , Szavay and Serena Williams . Nothing to be ashamed of here especially when you consider that she was able to push most of these players to 3 sets .
I must admit I dont know much about M.Czink and only seen her play twice but from what I seen she doesnt seem to be even close to Srebotniks level . Most of her wins are from ITF tournaments against much weaker competition and I can hardly see her step up today and beat K.Srebotnik .
Kristof Vliegen vs Fernando Gonzalez
Preview by : me
Fernando Gonzalez seem to be playing pretty at the moment after few bad results despite his tournament win in Vina del Mar in January as he defeated D.Sela in the opening round without problems in straight sets not losing his serve once . He has a solid 35-15 record on clay in his last 50 matches and what is more important he has 3-0head to head advantage against his opponent today , two of these matches have been played on clay where Vliegen retired once and lost 6-2 6-1 in 2005 .
K.Vliegen has a decent serve and a solid game but this will not be enough to beat a superior clay courter like Fernando Gonzalez . Vliegen is 23-27 in his last 50 on clay courts and is not very suited for the slower surface . I watched both of his matches in Monte Carlo and from what I have seen I can hardly say he can beat Fernando . Vliegen beat a still not retired oldie F.Santoro in a not very convincing fashion before being destroyed by R.Gasquet 6-1 6-2 .
Anything but a straight sets win for Fernando Gonzalez would REALLY surprise me here .
Nicolas Lapentti vs David Ferrer
Preview by : thedestroyer9
Ferrer disposed of an unknown compatriot in the previous round with severe brutality, and is unlikely to relent. He is a semi-finallist here last year (therefore needs to defend his points), has won 9 of his past 11 inside Spain, and has one of the better return games in the business to negate the serve of Lapentti. He will run every ball down from the veteran who won't have the engine or the fitness to match the Spaniard, but most impressive is his ability to turn defense into attack when presented with a short ball and Lapentti's dream run is going to end here in 2 sets
