Very nice hit on the parlay. I'm lucky I missed the Haas bet as he lost to Monaco!

Definitely keep posting Brainiac. We need more tennis posters on here to exchange info and post their bets.

We've got different styles of betting. I usually bet high volume. I've never been great at being selective, and I don't adjust my stakes. You seem to have that locked down. That's one of the things I want to improve for next year. I especially want to try betting a few tennis parlays (just 2 or 3 teamers). So your info especially in picking the value faves would definitely be helpful, not just for me but others.

Look forward to your next plays bro.

Thanks man .

There are few matches I like tomorrow but since you only pick dogs there are few I would recommend ...

Ancic over Blake

Koubek over Ljubicic

Calleri over Canas

Kiefer over Youzhny

and I doubt Baghdatis has a chances against Nadal unless Rafael retires .

I like all of those, and have already played two - Calleri and Koubek. I've got some strong leans on Kiefer and Ancic! I'm also looking into Feli Lopez and Del Potro. But they're both pretty inconsistent and up against two players in great form.

If Nadal is fit, then Baggy has no chance. He's too inconsistent, and chokes at the important moments.

I took Almagro over Gonzo as I think Fena is really struggling despite his recent tourney win in Beijing. Almagro is a mug but he's got an aggressive game, big serve, and he'll have big support.

Really terrible performance by Shahar Peer . No doubt Agnieszka is a very telented player and not to forget she is still 18 ! But Peer made her look better than she really was today .

  • Andy played a flawless first set against Chela . He kept the same pace in the second set too. Chela was able to break him once but it did not really matter anymore . I have a feeling that Murray is back where he belongs .
  • Daniela started really well with a 4:1 lead in the first set but Safina did manage to come back and almost take this set . Daniela played really well on the tiebreak tho and got a 1:0 set lead . Many breaks in second set and Daniela was serving for the match at 6-5 but got broken . Good play on the tiebreak makes up for her slip before .
Thank to this late placed parlay I am only -4.50 units down today but I am planning on gaining some more units tomorrow .

YTD : 7-1 + 19.66 units

P.S : I am just wondering if you guys are able to see the pics I post here and results lines .

Federer did not look great . I wonder if he really will win this tournament . Could be worth a lay maybe but it is still Federer , can not bet against him

Federer always has a knack of coming up with the goods when its time. Look at the Wimbledon final against Nadal, i seriously thought Nadal was finally going to beat Federer on grass at one point.

If Federer is going to get beaten its going to be by a good player like Djokovic did at Montreal.

Well you can't bet against him.. who would? But if you bet on him odds are too low on the straight win, you would have to win at least 95% of those bets to break even.

If this 10 units play does not hit I will fly to Madrid and kill him .

Madrid Masters , Round 2

Richard Gasquet Paul-Henri Mathieu

My pick is Richard Gasquet 1.40 at betfair 10 units play !

Head to head

Gasquet did beat him on every surface ( clay court , hard court , indoor hard court ) and I do not see why it should be different today but there are few more reasons to bet your money on Richard .

  • Richard won a tournament without dropped a set 3 weeks ago in Mumbai and he won 10 straight games with 2 : 0 set before he left in finals of Tokyo to David Ferrer . Richard looked tired there after playing so many matches in 2 weeks ( 9 matches ) but he has been playing great tennis .
  • He has had a couple of weeks off to recuperate and should be ready to bring his A game to the court today .
  • Gasquet is number 11 in the ATP Race and still has a shot to qualify for Tennis Masters Cup Shanghai . Haas who is in number 8 spot right now already lost to Monaco . Robredo and Blake who are ahead of Richard too will have tough matches today .
  • Mathieu got to finals in Moscow last week where he lost to Davydenko and he already has first round match in Madrid against Mardy Fish .
  • Mathieu looked tired and flat after the first set . He asked me a medical timeout when Fish was about to serve . Mathieu's calling of the trainer midway through the second set was at best for a minor niggle and at worst was pure gamesmanship on his part . This really pissed Mardy off but he still won this second set 6 : 2 . Fish had his chances in the third set but couldnt convert any breakpoint and then the typical Mardy showed up . He lost his last game and Mathieu served to win the match .
My prediction : 6:3 6: 4 Richard Gasquet

BOL to you, i'm looking at the -4.5 AH on Nadal. I'm actually more confident on this play than i was on Federer.. this match will be on clay and i don't see nadal slipping up.

They have never met on clay before but nadal leads 3-0 on all other surfaces, most recent match was a 3-6 6-2 6-3 victory.

Would still like your thoughts though.

Why is this match going to be on clay ??? :think2:

If Nadal is healthy then Baghdatis will have no chance the way he has been playing lately .

It's on indoor hardcourt so be careful! Plays alot faster than clay. It's also at a higher altitude so the balls tend to fly more. That's a benefit for Nadal as he plays with top spin. Baghdatis is very good on the faster indoor surfaces but he's been in terrible form, and doesn't perform too well against Nadal. Big worry is Nadal's fitness! Good luck with the play.

Brainiac, good luck with Gasquet. This is a great spot for him.

My book told me clay. Check it out and its indoor hard court right?

I will actually not be surprised if Nadal loses the first set, he has taken a very long break. But with his finesse and tenacity he will be able to come back if he does go down a set, and i don't think Baghdatis can keep up with him for three sets.

I'm going to bet this one now, no more falling asleep, hopefully i cash it

Definitely indoor hardcourt. I think Fonbet are the only online bookie that have it listed as clay, and that's a big mistake on their part.

Good luck

Luckily i posted on this forum for some advice, yup Fonbet has it as clay.

Can you explain to me how altitude affects ball flight? Is it due to the lower gravitational force?

Nadal's fitness is a concern but i have faith in him that even if he goes a set down he will be able to come back strongly and demolish Baghdatis in set 3. I hope i'm not wrong.

Hey Rhino, you think Blake will beat Ancic today? Bored at work and wanted to get action, but i saw the line was very little -130 blake to +100 ancic, any lean on this? thanks!

I'll just offer my 2c.. i usually do not bet on blake as i find him too inconsistent, he can have really good days and really bad days.
I won't touch him unless i feel i have money to spare.

some h2h records, ancic has beaten blake in both their past meetings.

2005-10-24 Lyon Indoor Carpet R32 Ancic 6-2 7-6(5)
2006-05-15 Hamburg Clay R16 Ancic 4-6 7-5 7-6(3)

BOL if you decide to go for Blake anyway
