Physically these two are fairly even. At first Peng as a dog looked good. Then I noticed Peng's status is amateur.

Not sure where you are getting your info. She might be an amateur based on some website, but that is VERY misleading as she doesn't play like an amateur. She beat the likes of Safina, Dementieva, and Clijsters in San Diego alone last year. She took a set off Hingis in US Open this year and if she wasn't tired probably would have won. . Kirilenko isn't playing that well at all, but I took Kirilenko because it seems low #. Kirilenko got whupped by another Chinese player, Li, 2 weeks ago 6-1, 6-2. So I hope the same thing doesn't happen now. Anyhow, I am with you on Kirilenko. Match just started. Good luck.

The teenage boys not going on dates or to football games this weeked might consider a movie. The other thing Jackass2 has going for it is name recognition. Might be enuf to get this thing over.

After reading that first sentence I thought uh oh.

That info comes from Sony WTA Tour site. My guess is they call her amateur based on the amount of play, but not sure. Probably not the best criteria, I agree.

So Kirlilenko has been cold and Peng has been hot? Now I am thinking uh oh.

Glad we to see you are on Kirilenko. If you or Hope would have made a pick I would have just gone with that.

Hope is the best. No after thinking about it, I think cause she's from China and the way the gov't handles things, they probably list the athletes from there as amateurs unlesss they broke away maybe ???? like Li did. I wouldn't say Peng is hot. I just wanted to point out she's not an amateur unlike some of the scrubs who enter these tourneys. Also I am not sure if it's a rumor or not, but Peng has been hurt somewhat this year. I just think Kirilenko is underperforming this year. She won 2 winnable matches at the Open and then got upset and really destroyed. Wtatour is a good website though. Kirilenko is hot as well so Wtatour.com might not be the best website for that!
