rscl31,

I think there would be a lot more skepticism if that Super Bowl thread was my first post. This is my third year here and have shown I do well in the post-season.

If people want to believe me, great. If not, that's fine too. As you see, most don't agree with me anyways. I'm used to it.

There is no "system" that will predict the superbowl winner with 100 % accuracy.

Thats not an opinion, its fact.

Lous system may predict the winners some years but backfitting past data to predict the future only works if the future mirrors the past, which we know never happens.

Pancho,

You've made it perfectly clear that you don't agree with this system. So why do you keep bumping up the thread for me?

Because I think you should explain to the guys reading this thread that your system is not 100 % since they may be riding a lot of bucks on it.

Sure it may be decent enough of a system to give you an edge, but you make it sound like it can't lose.

Tennessee can get it done, but EVERY year luck plays a part. Infamous tuck rule allowed New England to win their only super bowl. One big play from Ravens last week and Titans are gone. One big hit on McNair and he's out in the cold this week.

I agree, Lou has laid the groundwork for a team that gives him and others an edge. But locks are on doors, not on football games (with the possible exceptions of Padther's 5* plays).

GOOD LUCK!

thanks lou GL with TENN, if for some reason TENN bites it could you provide us with some criteria that some of the other teams remaining HAVE met in order to give us some insight, thanks. HOPE YOUR STILL HERE IN FEBRUARY.

good point rex. it seems like the luck just goes in favor of some teams. thats why i kind of like green bay to at least make it to the superbowl. not that i would bet on it though...

If Tennessee does not win the Super Bowl the whole thing is a wash and my credibility goes right out the window.

i thought maybe there would still be something i could take from this.

No superbowl winner has ever done this or that, that would still be true (and those would be objective facts not debatable), we may need not worry GL.

I ALLWAYS look to all factors, somethings that no one may even be able to CAP for, DOES THE NFL WANT THE TITANS GOING BACK TO HOUSTON FOR A SUPERBOWL APPEARANCE, NO WAY IN HELL,

FISCHER COACHED IN HOUSTON FOR 3 years.

1994 Houston Oilers* 1 5 0 .167 4th
1995 Houston Oilers 7 9 0 .438 2nd (tie)
1996 Houston Oilers 8 8 0 .500 3rd (tie)
1997 Tennessee Oilers 8 8 0 .500 3rd
1998 Tennessee Oilers 8 8 0 .500 2nd
1999 Tennessee Titans 13 3 0 .813 2nd Wild Card Birth
2000 Tennessee Titans 13 3 0 .813 1st Division Champion
2001 Tennessee Titans 7 9 0 .438 3rd (tie)
2002 Tennessee Titans 11 5 0 .688 1st Division Champion

IT WOULD BE AN INTERESTING SIDE NOTE, BUT I FEEL THIS WOULD BE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO AWARDING HOUSTON THE GAME IMO.

FROM A HOUSTON NEWSPAPER

"Adams has remained a hated man in Houston. Sunday, when the Titans visited Reliant Stadium, "Beat Bud" signs were splattered everywhere.

If Adams is announced as one of Houston's 38 sports legends, Reliant Arena will erupt in boos and catcalls. The image-addicted NFL doesn't want an unpopular pick to spoil its party.

Adams is deserving. Let's see what happens. "

This is such a stupid thread to begin with........LOU......now we are left with no teams left in super bowl contention. I think Tenn gave a good effort but realistically they never had the lead one time tonight and I was very disappointed in their defense and offensive play calling.

You start relying on trends and system plays to cash tickets, your in a world of trouble. Lou, you got balls and a definate eye for capping, but to put your credibility on the line for one play is ridiculous.Anything can and will happen in the NFL, just ask the Vikes!!!!

Disagree Maverick. There was a lot of great info here. But there's probably too much parity today to eliminate a team completely because of one stat.

Always back fitting, although honestly used his tenn. to get the cover both games. Just the same, another used car/insurance salesman exposed.
