Why anybody thinks this is a joke is beyond me. I thought by now people who have been here for awhile know I don't fvck around when it comes to football. Let me explain this a little more.

I went back through all the Super Bowl winning teams and looked for common characteristics, reasons why they won and reasons why other teams did not. From there I set up a set of parameters that teams could not do during the regular season if they want go on to win the Super Bowl. The teams listed above have already disqualified themselves as they have already done at least two things on this list. As hard as it is to believe, the Colts have two strikes against them and are out of the running for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Now I need you all to do me a favor. Don't judge me or this list until the season is over. If I'm right, we can all benefit from it. If I'm wrong, flame away.

Big Lou

P.S. - I want to reiterate that this is all based on research and has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion. It's important that everyone understand this.

Both Baltimore and New England finished as the number one team in 2000 & 2001 respectively on this project that I developed all off-season.

I'm not saying some of the teams on this list won't make the playoffs. Just that none of them will WIN the Super Bowl. I want to be absolutely clear on that point.

Lou - dontcha see what you've done buddy??? youve just looked at the winners, then figured out what each of them had AFTER THE FACT.

please ADMIT that once any team makes it to the playoffs, your stats go right out the window! please at least admit me that...

Whatever happened to "No team to lose to the Bucs in a season has ever gone on to win the SB".. Is that still true? I remember this from years ago, but can't recall off of the top of my head if its still true..

I cannot explain it fully enough to make everyone understand. The whole point of this is the reason why teams win Super Bowls hasn't changed and the winner will be announced after the last week of the regular season. Please allow this thread to go through the rest of the 2003 season. Like I said, if I'm wrong, feel free to wail on me.

Big Lou

P.S. - The whole reason this project got started in the first place was because of a team that did NOT win the Super Bowl, the 1998 Minnesota Vikings. I had to know why that 15-1 team did not win it all. It all fell into place from there.

Now you have me thinking regarding Indy, winning a game without a td (or winning in ot), but Carolina did too, and they are not on list. Good post..hmmmmm..

Too many people here just react in a knee jerk fashion without putting their brain in gear first. Not saying your right about the Colts but at least your giving it some thought.

Sorry, losing to a specific team during the regular season is not one of the parameters. It's all based on HOW teams win and HOW they lose.

Again, don't judge this thread now. Check it after Week 17 is complete.

I do whatever it takes to be successful and if that means laying off then that's what I do. (We don't all chase like yourself and rodfather). In fact I might just specialize in betting the playoffs because I have the utmost confidence in my post-season research.

And, as always, at least my record is an honest one.

It can't be winning without a td mhk, the Ravens did that several times. You can't keep us waiting till week 17 about the Colts, Lou.
