Mike Tomlin has been denied the opportunity to be a head coach in the NFL because of his race. Oh wait..... now they cant fire him because it will be because he is black. Haha. You cant win with them.

Learn how to read. i never said it was higher in my post. I am not incorrect. The NFL teams have employed over the years who i said in my post. Don't call me incorrect.
right and you are incorrect to think people would stop watching something because a few guys got in trouble....in trouble at a lessor rate than the general public.......so now people are upset about disrespecting our flag and you want to wonder why they did not get upset before......so I guess incorrect was too weak...you are fucking wrong.

incorrect. the NFL "crime rate" is LOWER than the general public.
Again you must have a problem with reading comprehension. i called you out on this quote by you. i said nothing in my post about nfl crime rate lower than the general public yet you told me i was incorrect about something i didn't even say. So please don't tell me i am wrong about something i didn't say. Again learn to read.

right, but he doesn't want to be involved in any politics with this. fn joke

Tomlin is an egomaniac freak and is embarrassed because a vet didn't follow his orders. well the rest of America is speaking....Villanueva the #1 selling jersey in the NFL in past 24 hours. way to go, Mike...you fn glorified cheerleader

Tomlin can't even keep a convicted wife beater's mouth shut about this...“We thought we were all in attention with the same agreement, obviously, ” Harrison said. “But, I guess we weren’t.”

Just as the players have a right to sit or kneel during the anthem, people are allowed to be upset with it.

The players do not have first amendment rights to do what they are doing on the field...

First amendment rights do not carry onto your job. If you do a political protest at work and your employer does not like it he can fire you no questions asked..

is this true or did you just make that up? Source?

It is true and made me lose whatever ounce of respect I had for Tomlin. Guy has served three tours in Afghanistan and won a Bronze Star. He can do whatever the fuck he wants. Tomlin doesn't know anything about service or sacrifice.

“Like I said, I was looking for 100 percent participation, we were gonna be respectful of our football team.”

obviously it was directed at the single player who did not obey the pimp's orders to be more respectful of the team than the nation. fuck him and the steelers

Ask yourself how good a coach he would be without Rothlisberger?

No Superbowl, probably zero playoff wins. One of those guys that lucked into the perfect situation. He better retire before Rothlisberger does or he'll having horribly losing teams.

Wow the steelers send out villanueva in a press conference to apologize for his actions and then fat ben says didn't let AV stand alone it just looked like that "in pictures". How low can this franchise go? So embarrassing

yeah i just saw the press conference. AV apologized to coach and team for not getting proper clearance to stand for the anthem and Fat Ben told us all that they really didn't stand in the tunnel it just looked that way

the Steelers just made a fucking 3-tour army vet apologize for not only something he believes in but a NFL requirement. what's next?

I wrote Burt Lauten, Steelers Head of PR, yesterday without reply...and he has some more emails from me today. Do the same, lautenb@steelers.nfl.com

Well, that's a bit different. Now hearing it was on his own. This is more complicated than it should be. This shouldn't be happening at all. Will we ever be colored blind? Ha.....
