Good move by the Cardinals to lock in Kolten Wong to a five-year deal plus a club option. Wong didn't quite have the breakout year I envisioned in 2015. After a strong start he went homerless the final two months and hit just .229 against lefties. He's already a solid player but I still believe he has better seasons to come.
With Hyun-Jin Ryu out until May after shoulder surgery last year, the first Dodgers pitcher to get a crack at the open rotation spot will be Alex Wood. The Dodgers' rotation, in order, to start Cactus League play: Clayton Kershaw, Scott Kazmir, Kenta Maeda, Brett Anderson and Wood.
