Kennedy was injured for the Miss St game. I imagine in the presser tomorrow Sumlin will give his probably probable status. I did just read that the game is sold out 106k+ and they are going to do standing room only. I am not sure the capacity with standing room only but I cant wait. Should be a crazy at least for a quarter...

Nothing on the sites I use stating he's out this Saturday. That would be really strange for such a big impact player. I have no idea what the rules are in college, know the pros, but don't know if they play by the same. I have to admit, after looking at the "body of work" for each team so far, I believe you have it nats ass on with your earlier statement. That all being said, if the Rebs let all the hoopala, and they're going apeshit in Sippi right now, get to them, I think the farmers & miners could get 'er done.

Yes, 13 drops. I'd say at least 10 of the 13 legit drops. Half those on 3rd down would have been first down catches. Most were hit in the hands and just dropped.
I'd agree with that after re-watching the game. There were a couple that would have been tough catches but the majority were pretty easy. Seemed like guys were either trying to run before the catch or heard a footstep or two. It would have made a difference in the game. In a rhythm offense like A&M's those become very disruptive. It impacts the flow of the game. Not saying they win, but it would have put a bit more pressure on Miss St to perform. Not having Kennedy for that game was also critical.

Possibly, but the same could be said for Wazzu after blowing a game 59-60 they could have won on a chip shot FG from the 1 yd line as time was running out. A game which they rolled up over 800 yards of total offense.
FML...just wrote epic four paragraph response but somehow f**ked it up while trying to post it. Forgive me, it's been ages since I visited here. Here's the short of it: Wazzu's game didn't have national pressure, Stanford's did and they lost in the final seconds. I think there's a difference between blowing a game and blowing a game against a nationally ranked opponent on National TV when your team has delusions of a national championship run. Wazzu QB set NCAA record for passing and his team leads FBS (I think) in passing offense so The Cardinal isn't likely to overlook that (or that Washington State is almost bottom in rush offense...I don't even know how many Div-I schools there are any more so I don't know what last would be but they're 126th). But... and this is the question posed in this thread, I think, can Stanford get up for a 2-4 team after blowing it in front of nat'l audience?

Short week for both schools too, but probably hurts Stanford more after traveling across the country to play a physical game. Wazzu is going to be desperate the next couple of weeks since their bowl hopes are slipping away. Plus Stanford has ASU on deck. Shaw isn't exactly known for running up the score either..

Makes you wonder why TCU is a 10 point dog...

Baylor in a big way....

Lay the 10

Curious as to why you keep saying this? Is it a hunch or did your handicapping of the game indicate to you that Baylor is going to win by 10+? If it is handicapping, I would be very interested to read your angle. In my handicapping of this game, not one factor tells me to lay 10 points to TCU. That doesn't mean I am betting TCU but it certainly means I am not betting Baylor and laying 10 points.

13 drops!! He is missing Kennedy big time. I think he got frustrated and tried to be too perfect. They'll get him right for this week. My thought is can Bo Wallace be perfect for 2 weeks in a row. I don't think so.
You do realize that the bama d is much better than the Aggies d?

Yessir. But A&M plays Ol Miss this week, not bama. The drops caused the A&M offense to misfire and stall out. With respect to Bo Wallace, he wasn't perfect against Boise, or Memphis, or ULL. Just wondering if he could do it 2 consecutive weeks. That's all.
