my friend. They really do! My prayers' are with you but you needs to stay

as positive as you can. Recover is an odyssey and small improvements

are milestones. Don't forget that. I am praying for ya my friend! cheersgif<strike></strike>

Willie you're answering a ghost of a poster who's already commented several times in this thread.

Someone trying to play you for a fool as he does with most of us.

Nobody plays me for a fool my friend. The post asked a legit question in a respectful fashion, I was happy to have an opportunity to give my opinion on that issue. I think you know I won't take any shit should some come my way. But I'd rather restore some sensibility and sensitivity to the discussion

That doesn’t even make sense. You can’t go without this forum can you? You needed to make a ghost to argue with people because post review was preventing you from doing so LOL. why not email Hacheman like a normal person would. But nah, let’s just make a ghost and add to the problem. That’s what you do though. You argue and you add to the problem. Talking in circles. When I took one for the forum and got banned with Bruce. I didn’t go make ghosts bro. That’s not helping anything.

Not a good situation but I'll just put it this way. When you have a stroke obviously depending on the serverity you can damn well loose track of reality. They drug you up with pain meds on top of the stroke issue b/c usually there is some pain issues in your head. Definitely clouding judgement (could be why BAS came in and decided to post about GB and not taking care of what should have been). Having another one after that would be icing on the cake.

I understand posters being upset and wanting to be paid but you have your normal assholes making negative ass comments who have no idea what a person/family actually goes through when unfortunate health issues arise such as this.

I had a family member lose his company when he had a stroke. He forgot his bills that were to be paid, taxes, etc. It took a while for them to even realize what they weren't taking care of. He couldn't even use a phone.

Hopefully you all get paid but a few of you should definitely tone down on the negativity. You have no idea what a stroke victim goes through.

Shitty situation all around

my father died from two massive strokes within 24 hours. You are at a high risk of having another one within 24 hours of the first. I’ve met Mike a few times, he would never stiff anyone. I feel for Hotshotgambler and the others who have money coming. I feel for Mike’s family more. It goes to show how fragile life is.

Am I missing something? BAS is recovering from a medical predicament.

BAS is also prominent member and contributor to this great site! Why do

posts on this thread continue to voice vexation! BAS is recovering from

something bad. BAS needs our support and prayers. Start to show that and

express that too if you feel and are real about that! Get Well BAS! cheersgif

gl to BAS and family.

as others have noted, stroke caries significant risk of morbidity, can devastate families.

early recovery

there’s still so much we don’t know about how the brain compensates for the damage caused by stroke. In some cases, the brain cells may be only temporarily damaged, not killed, and may resume functioning over time. In other cases, the brain can reorganize its own functioning. Every once in a while, a region of the brain “takes over” for a region damaged by the stroke. Stroke survivors sometimes experience remarkable and unanticipated recoveries that can’t be explained. General recovery guidelines show:

  • 10% of stroke survivors recover almost completely
  • 25% recover with minor impairments
  • 40% experience moderate to severe impairments requiring special care
  • 10% require care in a nursing home or other long-term care facility
  • 15% die shortly after the stroke

the fact that this was an "rx contest" held on the rx forum. Whether the rx was aware or even sanctioned to me means there is implied authority on the behalf of therx. At least that's what I believe a court would side/determine

This becomes 10x more implied when the head moderator is the one running the contest and holding the money.
