My thoughts.

Of course the deflated balls had nothing to do with Indy getting their collective asses handed to them.

NE has an awesome football team, year after year, they just continue to win. Of course there's jealousy regarding their success, it's just the way it is.

What I don't understand is why cheapen their success? They don't need to resort to such tactics in my opinion. I get the trying to gain an edge stuff, but cheating is cheating no matter how insignificant it is.

I thought Pete was like 50 the way he jumps around out there.......I'm in my early 40's & he could easily beat my butt in any sport with his energy.

Yeah I wouldn't even try Carroll at any sport cuz if I won he'd probably beat me up lol.

Way it looks with Carroll, he could coach til he's 80. Seriously thought the dude was 54 or so.

Belichick, a youthful 62 but I think won't be able to coach much longer because media just annoy him too much.

maybe he wraps up by bringing the UCONN program to National Prominence. Just cuz he can.

...and he cannot handle any further the idiocy of the National Media.

The problem in this case is that Belichick knew that all Indy had was Luck. No line, no running game, and 42% of a defense. The Colts have drafted so poorly since 2012.

[h=1]Bill Belichick vows “swift justice” for whoever failed to deflate 12th football[/h] DJ Gallo Jan 21st, 2015 0 Comment
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said today that he is just as upset and angry as everyone else is over the latest news about his team, and will make sure there is “swift justice for those responsible.”
“I was very angry to hear that 11 of our 12 footballs in the AFC Championship Game were under-inflated,” said the coach, spitting out his words in an angry growl at a press conference today. “I gave explicit instructions that all of our footballs were to be deflated by exactly two pounds. I will find who failed to deflate the twelfth ball and they will be fired. I guarantee you that.”
Patriots owner Robert Kraft said he has “complete confidence” in Belichick.
“This man cheats with integrity, and I won’t let anyone say otherwise,” said the owner. “His attention to duplicitous detail is unparalleled. I don’t know what exactly happened to cause one of our footballs to be legal, but Bill will get to the bottom of it and we will move forward as an organization to better and more comprehensive illegal activities.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he expecting a quick and thorough explanation from the team.
“The integrity of the league is at stake. Again,” said the commissioner. “I expect an excuse from the Patriots that is PR-driven and palatable to the majority of our fans by the end of the day.

Yes, and I dig that, even posting earlier in this thread "I understand the argument of Integrity of game demands Zero Tolerance of cheating" not in those exact words but same theme.

The simple Laws of Physics dictate that footballs are gonna lose air, become "under-inflated". What if Vince Wilfork landed on top of a football, for example.

You don't think that football might not lose a lb. or two psi? Course of Play, ball back to spot game goes on now with UNDER INFLATED FOOTBALL OMG chase down Belichick, shackle him and deliver him to the Gallows.

I am merely proposing that a very reasonable and very very plausible case can be made that vindicates Bill cuz if balls do naturally lose psi during the course of games and they certainly do per the Laws Of Physics & Refs are interested in imperding, slowing down game play wherever possible then...

how you can you not accept that slightly UN psi balls are possibly an accepted reality within the game and Belichick was not in fact consciously doing something UNderhanded?

If you can STILL manage to indict him after the above....your act would be tantamount to railing on your wife for getting a speeding ticket on the freeway while going just 4 mph over the posted limit.

Would you do that texasfan? Take away one or more of her Draft Picks texasfan?

If so you wouldn't get no lovin' for years texasfan

Hey Junior RXer,
I'll give you some advice from the best QB in the league: R-E-L-A-X. Twenty-eight posts on this thread from you. The NFL will figure this out, suspend Belicheat for a game next season and take away some draft picks. You can represent him at the hearing. Bring along your font changer and underliner.

When you play New England, leave no stone unturned. Balls, locker room taped, recorded practices, fake snow, and then after all of this, there is his defenses that have even confused Peyton. 2 lineman in 3 point stances. Geeze.

Uggh I knew I shouldn't have clicked thread.

Not to mention, as we are close to establishing in another thread here on RX Vlad....the theme song Patriots use is employed to inflict Sonic Torture on the opposing team...

....because its such a hideously crappy gaysounding song....as close to unbearable a song can get...

Having to hear it 20 times during the game throws opponent off their game plan and Bill also employs a deafeningly loud foghorn that gets blasted periodically to alienate the other team much like a DB talks trash about a WR's Mom to knock 'em off their game.

Belichick's win % at Foxborough is around 80%, shyt appears to be working pretty well.

Question, has anyone checked the balls Indy was using to see if they also lost the same amount of air during the game?

I apologize if this has been answered, but does anyone know?

Yeah, thats here about 4 pages back in this thread and also within some of the other 48 threads started here on RX about this matter so that Indy+6.5 bettors can bellyache and whine about this with their very own thread.

People have suggested Colt's balls were checked and found to be not ample enough to defeat The Patriots.

Even had the game been played with a sockball

Colt's balls were checked 2:15 prior to game time as all balls are, this whole crap having blown up day(s) after game impossible to retrace and check balls now cuz they are in a stack with 413 other balls in NFL warehouse in Rahway.

If the nfl refs are suppose to check the balls before each game....how can you allow them to play with the deflated footballs?

Very clear what is going on here.

Thank goodness for Dquell Jaackson intercepting that ball

I don't believe any intelligent person would think under-inflated footballs had anything to do with the ass whooping NE put on Indy. I was just asking because obviously balls won't deflate on one sideline only.

It's obvious the balls were tampered with. I mean the teams have the balls for over tow hours before the game starts after the officials are done with them. If I recall correctly, I thought I read somewhere that one official took one ball out of play during the game.

I just don't understand why NE has to resort to this, especially after that spy-gate fiasco. It just taints their success in my opinion.

Oh wow.

Hey Pretentious Prick:

RX is considered among many the Harvard of Sports Discussion Forums, a place people have common sense and use it unlike SBR the Alternative School of Forums where maybe'd be more appropriate for one with a Lower IQ such as yourself.

I am merely asking them to do that, employ common sense in this matter. Its taken "28 posts" within this thread because of Simple-Minded Airheads like you who have trouble with comprehension of the English language.

What do you care how many posts anyone makes to a given thread anyways? Its a posting forum bonehead.

NE would have won either way no doubt about that. But THAT FACT does not take away the fact that Bellichick and the NE organization are crooks and have no integrity or sportsmanship whatsoever!

I agree with that. I stated earlier that cheating is cheating.
