Should we start the debate on homosexuality now or later?? BTW I do agree with homosexuals composing + / - 2% of the population.

Any time you want, although the subject matter has been beaten to death on here, There are threads and debates a mile long in the PolyForum.

Don't even try to say that homosexuality is biological, because I would crush you on that point alone.

festeringzit, please post a picture of yourself.

Why? You going to beat off to it?

Fletcherism has seen my wife, you can ask him how hot she is.

I'm planning on being at the bash this year (2011), come and meet me there.

BTW, I've been told I look like Phil Simms and Mark Harmon. That will give you a rough idea until you can meet me in person.

It's not that. Some times you argue with someone on the internet until you see a picture of them and you go "oh....that's who I'm arguing with?"

It just gives you a better perspective on the person.

And no I'm not gonna beat off to any picture. It's just funny how intolerant you are of people while claiming to be a christian when Christ himself would embrace anyone.

You've swallowed the PoliticallyCorrect pablum that somehow embraces tolerance as a virtue.

Christ challenged people to repent and turn away from wicked ways, he wasn't a big smiley face in the sky that just hugged everyone. He called certain people: dogs, vipers, pigs...

Tolerance is the virtue of the man without convictions.

The truth is if Christ were around today he would be fighting for gay rights. He would be sickened by the right wingers.

As if you even have a clue what you are talking about.

You can start by reading Jesus' words about what a marriage is in Matthew 19 and Mark 10. When you are done with that, I'll give you some more study
materials.

4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

I wouldn't argue that point because I am mostly inclined to agree with you. I am, however, interested in learning about the theories on how homosexuality in the animal kingdom - such as between dogs, monkeys, penguins, etc. - can be translated over to the human race. It is my (vague) understanding that they are focusing on this in an effort to find a so-called "gay" gene. I don't believe it is genetic...but I do believe that certain individuals may have more pronounced homosexual tendencies which they may choose to then act upon - sort of like said animals. Talking about this subject inevitable turns to "I don't like homo's and they are going to hell, blah, blah, blah" so there is really no point. In my mind, homosexuality and religion have nothing to do with each other...I do, however, find it funny when so called Christians try to say they can support the behavior.

Me too...will this be your first one? Will be good to finally be able to place faces with some of the people I have conversed with on this site during my short time here.

This will be my first one. There have been a couple years where I was all set to go, and then had to do business travel at the last minute that precluded me
from making it.

Yeah? Do tell? I'll add +1 to the poster that can feel the hate emanating from your posts about homosexuality. Live and let live brother. And your quote about tolerance makes you sound ignorant btw.

Someone with 1/3 my IQ calling me ignorant somehow makes me laugh. I bet if I posted the plethora of medical documentation I have that shows the little or no
evidence or research that shows any kind of gay gene or biological cause for homosexuality, you'd dismiss it w/out reading it.

festeringzit, you're very Christian. Every post is telling someone to fuck off and showing how much smarter you are. You're no christian pal.....trust me.

Where did I tell someone to fuck off?

Hmmm?

I admittedly am not one to have patience for people without critical thinking skills.

Just for fun...

1 Peter 5:5-6

You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time

Romans 12:3

For through the grace given to me I say to every man among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgement, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
